Yes but Vaq works his ass off to make these great patches for us so maybe you could cut him a little slack and not cry when he tells you to **** off. When people tell me to **** off I dont cry about it. So just suck it up and move on.

It's not justifiable, I'd like an apology. Then I would move on.

People in higher positions are held to higher standards, that's really all there is to say on the matter. Hostile remarks towards me are unnecessary.

  10. Accepting the bread having been asked for by a passerby, Aethasis, a wood elf, unknowingly consumed diseased food. As the symptoms slowly followed, he began to ask others if he was looking alright. Others offered no response besides a "Keep away you!" He checked his reflection in the waters at Cloud Temple and his suspicions were confirmed. Green spots were beginning to over take him and his coughing grew worse. Uneasy he sought out help from first the monks but they offered no support nor any comfort only cries of dismay and imminent doom. In fear he ran to the civilians for help of any kind. Between pleas and denials, he coughed up masses of blood and vomited profusely. Becoming weak he plead for even help to a bed. Others fled or ignored him. There was no hope for the plagued scum and there was no use for anybody to help because the risk of contamination was so high. People urged him to jump into the pit of fire and join the dead, to put himself down but he tried to hold on. Eventually death reached it's cold tireless fingers to him and overtook him. He died in pain and alone. We are born through pain, we live in pain, and most of us, especially the plague victims, die in pain. R.I.P. Aethasis, Wood-Elf, Ex-Servilex member
  11. First of all, thanks for the good response. I went through it again and edited, mostly just omitting the slips and making some subtle changes. As far as lore goes, I drew mostly from the lore section of CoM, is there a better place to go to?
  12. Alright, here goes nothing! Minecraft Account Name: outlawAvailed Character Name: Varis Vlosszuk'r Gender: Male Age: 23 years Appearance: Varis stands at a height of 5'7", a fairly average height, slender like most others with a weight of 136 lb. He has a small frame and isn't as muscular as he'd like to be. His physique however allows for nimble movement and far more subtle sleight of hands although he is more easily overwhelmed in combat by sheer force. His hair falls just above his shoulders dyed with a dark, almost obsidian color. His skin is dark, almost the shade of charcoal. Unlike the typical red eyes of the Mori, he has green eyes which fade from a lighter green on the edges to a dark evergreen color in the center. He wears a evergreen tunic made of precious spider silk, decorated with lavish designs of gold. Personality: He is quick to anger but knows his place. He's not about to show any lest it were for a specific purpose. He is plotting and is devious. He's less inclined to pursue a romantic affair of any sort lest it provide some sort of advancement for hisself. He doesn't pursue friendship except for the possibility of manipulation. He isn't a sadist per se but does enjoy seeing the downfall of his enemies, which could be anyone. His pride is immense, he sees himself above even his superiors but would not dare mention such opinions. He is much more likely instead to even flatter someone of higher power for trust and better recognition. He is a thirsty creature, aching for power. Biography: The earliest years of this Mori's life were not looking well for him. He was scrawnier than most from birth and didn't offer much potential either. He didn't walk until much after the acceptable age to do so. He was rather timid and his father urged that he be abandoned entirely. His mother demanded time, as all good things came to those who took time to plot. Sure enough he began to walk and show signs of aggression. When he hit early schooling, he often set people against each other through rumor dropping and some easy pick pocketing. Because of his small physique, others also doubted his ability to fight and often targeted him for it. However, it was all too easy for him to steal food here and plant it on someone else, then hint at its disappearance to the initial victim. He used approaches similar to this in order to reap revenge on those that were larger than him. He learned tactics rather than brute strength are much more reliable when it comes to sowing the demise of others. As he grew older, pride would become his only downfall however. He got into the habit of dropping hints of his own involvement of his deceptions, just before the victim was disposed of. In such events, the tide of events could turn quickly and he carries scars from such turns but not before dealing a few of his own. He discarded this sort of practice and decided that it was better to enjoy his subtle actions from the sidelines of conflict and to not let his pride lead him to reveal himself. As much fun as it was turning people on each other, there was nothing like getting your sword bloody every once in a while. Once out of his early schooling. He started taking up assassinations in his spare time. Nothing serious, poison in a goblet here, an misfortunate trip off the side of a wall, maybe he fell on his own weapon. The real fun came to the struggle, the rush of it all, and the witty quips before ending someone. Such was the life of the blade. When it came to head to head battles though, Varis was always bested by those from the Melee Magthere. He scoffed at the idea of a school to learn that which was so natural at first, but results were undeniable. It worked. He had therefore the join the academy and rise through its ranks. Your characters ambitions: Power! Varis strongly desires power and the things he would do to attain such unquestionable. He desires to rise through the ranks of The Melee Magthere and become an excellent swordsman. Nothing that excels his hunger for recognition and power. ===Roleplay Related Questions=== As your character wanders the back-streets of Menorcress, you sight a cloaked figure lurking in one of the shadowed nook behind the Brothel: a rustle of cloth is heard, and the figure ushers you in with a skeletal finger. The hooded figure imparts information involving a conspiracy to over-throw the House of Miiystra, and offers you a hefty sum of coin to partake in the planned attack. How does your character react? Varis eyes the hefty sum, calculating what he may do with the money and the dangers this could mean to the state. With glinting eyes, the young Mori agrees. If he were to refuse, what would he gain from this strange skeletal figure? In fact, the High Queen would have been worse off if you would have refused. Believing that you were bought over with the sum, the figure would believe that he had the allegiance of this Mori seeking power and wealth. However, Varis would alert her royal tyranny to the coupe de'tat and offer up a portion of the offered money. Not only would he reap the rewards of the traitor but he would gain favor from the High Queen herself. Wealth, power, recognition. On his signal, Varis would alert the guards to the people involved in the coup and the traitors would be killed on the spot. Your character finds him/herself watching the Alure d'aphyon: the several fighters within the void maze wield only sticks as they prove their prowess as warriors by battling to the death. One of fighters happens to be a close companion of yours, and you witness him being strategically cornered by three of the other fighters and beaten to death. While the crowd cheers in celebration of the violence, and the death of your friend. How does your character react? He snickers. This is too grand! Varis was only his friend because he saw him as an equal, someone who could potentially be threatening in terms of fame and power. He thought that his friend was out to betray him if anything, his cruel death by bludgeoning wrought by his own mistakes was much to pleasing. Besides, with those kind of mistakes he was making in combat, it was almost as if he deserved such a death. You were planning to take a hit out on him eventually anyways. A screenshot of your skin:

They lived nomadically, gathering what they needed from their surroundings and taking up the trees for defense. This simple life was not what Aethasis could deal with all his days. There were no troubles, no conflicts, and no problems. It was almost perfect. Unlike the others he was not as perfect. He was moved to anger more quickly than others and he wanted to be known. While the others played tag, he practiced with targets. They learned to sing but he learned to swim! It was not enough for him to simply be different, he needed to find people who were similar. He needed to know that there are elves out there like him, in similar ambitions and goals. Those who wanted to fight for the sake of protecting even without immediate dangers. By the time he hit 16, he had become well versed in the bow, dabbled in the fields of sword combat, and gained a knowledge of simple farming, so he set out to make a name for himself. To be a hero! To stand out from the rest, he dons a coat of red and red shoes with yellow stripes. Your characters ambitions: To defend and assist those who deserve it. Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? Aethasis catches a glimpse of the struggle from out of the trees. Knowing there is little time to act, he draws his bow and takes aim. He sees one of the bandits drawing a dagger to stab the elf and he releases a flurry of arrows at their vicinity. Having not fully mastered the bow yet, none of the arrows seem to hit their target but just about everything else. He was not close enough. Aethasis curses under his breath and taunts the bandits who in turn, drop their aggression against the elf and rush to attack. Aethasis rushes from the brush to meet them in combat. Swaying with the rhythm of a dancer he dodges most of their attacks and trades off several blows. He gets tripped and disarmed leaving his sword yards away from him. One of the bandits slashes his coat as he dodges a finishing blow and unleashes his fury. "NOBODY TOUCHES THE COAT!" he bellows, and pulls a dagger tied to his leg beneath his leg, slashing one of the bandits from the knave to the chops. The other flees in terror as his friend suffers a fatal blow to the neck. Aethasis takes down the surviving bandit with an arrow to the back of the knee. Before continuing, he remembers the hurt elf and goes back to tend to his wounds while the surviving bandit gets away. Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? He asks for some cloth to repair his coat without any mention of his uneventful past. Although he gained a proper education through schooling, he did not learn many useful skills with which he would have been able to carry himself on his own. Upon reaching his teenage years, the control of the throne began to be disputed. The once faithful adviser to the king, Gideon had turned on him and had led the enemies from the east to overtake their kingdom with promise that he would rule as a duke. Before they were able to kill the prince, a guard by the name of Stanley Nepos led Aethasis out of the Castle through dark forgotten passages beneath it. Although the kingdom lay behind them in ruins, Nepos took Aethasis up on his own and taught him the way of the blade and the bow. He soon learned the harsh realities of life and had to find his own food in the wilderness. After a few years of just trying to survive in the wilderness, the guard was overwhelmed with the many evils of the night and got caught in several creeper explosions. Trembling with fear during the onslaught, Aethasis blocked himself into the ground and waited till the sunlight came. He crawled out to find the remains of his dear friend and gunpowder everywhere. He wept. Despite having to survive on his own, it only made him stronger. He turned his blue eyes to the sunlight which reflected off his golden hair and vowed to make things right in the world. His unfathomable bloodlust urged revenge in him that the earth had yet to see. He set off in his red coat and black clothes to become a paladin and defender of the light.
