Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am a generally cheerful person who is has a bright outlook on everything I do. I enjoy gaming in my free time, and am always looking for a new adventure. Creativity runs through my head and I love telling and creating new and wondrous stories. How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I could be on the sever quite a bit, I would say about over 15 hours a week. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: Roleplaying is creating a character completely unlike yourself. You take on the mind of this character, create their dreams and ambitions and live their life. You interact and form new friendships, and enemies. You explore the world, create a story and make a life for yourself and the players around you. In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming; the bane of rp. It’s taking information that your character doesn’t know through roleplaying means and using it to your advantage in rp. This is like using someone’s nameplate to find them, or knowing someone is a villain without ever meeting them. Powergaming: Powergaming is roleplaying in such a way that doesn’t give you a chance to lose. You don’t let others react in a way to protect themselves or react. Everything you do through power gaming is to your advantage, you act invincible and all powerful with skills that your character would not normally possess. What do you expect this server will be like?: I am expecting a new and eye opening experience from this server. I believe I will see a beautifully created world with plenty of interesting and diverse players. I look forward to being a part of a story and community such as this. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I used to play on the server that was managed by a friend of mine. It was a small 30slot server that died when my friend could no longer afford to keep it. Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes I have read the rules. They are fair, and well written. How did you hear about us?: I heard about this server from a friend of mine, who seemed to really enjoy the experience that was offered here. What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?: Numirya In-Character: Character Name: Winnie What is your Race?: Human, Halfling Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Winnie was born under the sunny skies of Dunwood, her hair the colour of freshly tilled earth and her eyes the colour of the mountain stream. Spending her days walking through the tall wheat fields, Winnie enjoyed the quiet life, tending the farm, feeding the livestock and all in all, being a peaceful Halfling. She prided herself on her freshly brewed ale, a recipe passed down from generation to generation, always sure to please the community. Before the end of Aegis, Winnie lived with her family, smiling day after day in the hills of Dunwood and laughing as they sat around stuffing their faces. She is a small 32 year old girl, but quick to anger and more likely to yell at you in her thick accent. Her trusty shovel is always by her side, whether to farm or to knock some sense into somebody. Closer to Winnie than her shovel, is her twin brother Bungo. She cares about her brother more than anything, caring for him and looking after him constantly. She is always getting him out of trouble, and providing him with everything he needs. She lives a quiet life, having no interest in war or politics. All that matters to her is a hot meal and a jug of ale at her side, with her brother to share it with. Your characters ambitions: Winnie wishes to open a brewery, where she can sell her families ale and feed the people around her hot meals. With her brother, she wishes to own large tracts of land, where she can plant melons and wheat as far as the eyes can see. Like I said before, Winnie sees no need for war or pain, only a full stomach and a farm to fill it. Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? Winnie takes out her shovel, watching the two and gripping it tightly. She stays low, not hard to do, due to her size. Winnie ducks behind one of the men, hitting him in the knee and letting out a laugh as he grasps it, cursing in pain. “That’ll teach ye” she yells as she look at the other bandit, he blood runs cold and her face white. She grips her shovel and starts moving her quick little feet away, running like there is hot food at home waiting. She strives to live to live to feed her brother again, and doesn’t plan on dying. Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? Winnie looks up at the man, scowling and putting her hands on her hips. “Sir?” she yells in a squeaky voice. “I’m a woman, ye blinde piece o’dung”. Winnie takes out her shovel and bangs it on the floor, using it to push herself up onto a stool. “Ye could at least give meh some ale” she says as she slams a few coins on the counter, glaring at the man and swinging her feet as they hang in the air.
