  1. Side note: In my application I already said that my char was a Do'Culan but Ima just fill this out. Name: D'Jenghi Relatives: None atm Subrace: Kha'Tigrasi Age: 20 Skills: Strength, good senses, very loyal and stuff Weapon of choice: Sword / Axe-ish Do you prefer light or heavy armour: Heavy What is your choice of approach (Speed, Stealth, Tactics or Strength): Strength and Tactics, but since I'm a Kharajyr ofcourse also a good bit of Speed. Current occupation if any: Well my lore says Do'Culan but I'd like to apply for that here officialy Do you pledge your life in service to the empire, your superiors and the Tlatlanni: Yes, I do. (apologies for not using the cat language, I find it very difficult to type)
  2. So hey, I've been accepted as a Kha, got to the island (is that really all there is?) and talked with some people, but I can't really do anything now but walking around and starving of hunger, so it would be really cool if I could meet up with someone to give me perms and a house / some food or something. Kthxbai
  3. Hey there, we meet once again. ;)

  4. MC Username: Bearblock Rp Username (be sure to include the correct prefix, look up on info thread): D'Jenghi Character Skillset: A good bit of physical strength, well capable to handle weapons, especially thinner and smaller swords or daggers. His senses (Visions, hearing, smell etc.) are advanced, which makes him a good hunter. He is a bit less agile than the average Kharajyr but by no means slow, especially compared to humans and orcs. Appearance (age, SUBRACE, gender): D'Jenghi is a male, about 20 years old, only a few years since he has passed his trials of adulthood. He is a firmly built Kha'Tigrasi. He has a dark yellow skin colour with dark stripes. He has big, green eyes and sharp fangs and claws. He only wears clothes at his legs and around his wrists, which is red with golden trims, mostly used for a bit of extra protection in combat. Personality: D'Jenghi always wants to stand out, he wants to prove himself worthy to the higher classes. He will almost always accept jobs and do the bidding of higher ranked Kharajyr(s?). He is very loyal to his master and will most likely never betray a fellow Kha, unless of course that Kha disobeyed the rules of the Empire. All of these traits don't make him really friendly. He's not very good at making new friends or contacts, and he dislikes wasting time, for example by having meaningless chats with other Kha. He does however have a great sense of loyalty to the empire, and he will try all he can to protect his fellow Kharajyr. He is hard on the outside, which makes him good for combat and the like, but inside he actually wants to make friends or get married, but he has a hard time expressing this. Please include a short bio of your character's life: D'Jenghi never got to know his father, somewhere at the time his mother was pregnant, his father dissapeared, most likely killed in battle. Jenghi always assumed his father was a great warrior who could kill anything and beat any opponent. HIs mother used to tell a lot of stories about the adventures of his brave, almighty father, although most of this was probably just made up, to make for a nice bedtime story. Jenghi always wanted to be a hero, just like the father he never had. As a kitten he used to chase after a lot of things, such as butterflies, small birds or rats. But when something big like a spider came along, he instantly ran away to seek safety with his mother. Jenghi used to play a lot with the other kittens and he had quite a lot of friends, but when he grew up, he stopped spending time with most of them, becoming more focused on training, he used to be very jealous at other kittens who had way more friends, especially female friends. To prove himself, he wanted to train even more! The trials of adulthood were a major part in his life. He had spent a lot of time preparing for it, because it was his first chance where he could prove himself worthy. The trials were harder than Jenghi had expected, but he got trough them nonetheless. Now that he was officially an adult he applied to become a guard. His skills weren't bad for his age, so he got promoted to Do'Culan, and his name became D'Jenghi. He is desperately trying to become higher ranked in the military to impress the other Kha's. Character's ambitions: He always wants to impress higher ranks, and ofcourse become a high ranked member of civilization. He tries his best to do anything to please them, and at the same time he also tries to find his Metz'al to spend the rest of his life with. _---Situational Rp Questions---_ Note: I haven't really got used to the language of the Kha yet so I'm writing this in regular English to make for a better story, Ingame I'll be trying to use as much of the Kha language as I can. 1. As you travel through the Karakatuan jungle, you spot a human trespassing on your nation's lands. He approaches you, obviously distressed, and asks for any food, water, or shelter that you can provide, then tells you that he has been lost in the area for days without any proper supplies. How do you react?: D'Jenghi is wary of the man, he doesn't want anyone but Kharajyr on the land of the empire. The man, who appears to be in pain and is almost starving, asks for some supplies or shelter. D'Jenghi does not like that the man is trespassing: "How did you get here!?" he shouts. "I..I..d.don't know, I'm lost." D'Jenghi can see the man is in a really bad shape, but he feels little pity for him. "I can't give you anything, you are trespassing. the easiest way out of the jungle is that way." *D'Jenghi points to a small path. "There are many fruits you can find in the jungle, aswell as water, now be gone!" The man is sad that he didn't get anything, although he somewhat expected it. "Thanks" he says. The man starts walking again in the direction D'Jenghi just pointed him. He looks around him seeing if he can find any fruits. D'Jenghi stares at him untill he almost dissapeared in the thick bush. "And don't come back to these lands, you won't be so lucky next time!" He shouts at his back. 2. As you romp through the lands of the "apes", you come across a tavern. Inside this tavern, a Dwarf notices you and starts gawking at you, then begins to speak. "Oi! I gots a bowl of cream for you, Kitty! Ha! I'd bet you would make a nice throw rug, wouldn't ya, ya mangy furball?!" He continues act generally as racist as possible. What do you do?: D'Jenghi, already not liking the dwarf simply because he is a dwarf, he gets easily angered, but remains calm. "Stop that, or you're gonna regret it!" The obviously drunk dwarf doesn't care about this and just continues rambling things, insulting him and the Kharajyr in general. D'Jenghi slowly exposes his short but vicious claws. "I told you to stop!", he starts to very slowly approach the dwarf. "Hah, silly cat, what you gonna do about it, huh? You got nothing cause yer a scaredy cat!" D'Jenghi is obviously angered now. "Stop that RIGHT NOW!" The dwarf hics and laughs at him. D'Jenghi suddenly jumps at the dwarf and slashes at his face with one of his paws, leaving some nasty scars across his face and pushing the short drunk man from his stool. The other people in the tavern now start reacting and try to get D'Jenghi of the dwarf, while he is trying to completely rip the dwarf to pieces. A few good build men manage to grip his arms and push him down on a table, while other people drag the scared dwarf a bit back. D'Jenghi knows he can't do anything anymore and just let the men drag him outside. 3. One of your fellow Kharajyr and a close friend of yours comes to your dwelling in the middle of the night and begins to pound on your door. After you let him in, he confesses to killing another Kharajyr over a slice of cake. What do you do in response? D'Jenghi is very shocked as he heard his friend tell him this. "How could you do such a stupid thing!? I can't just let you walk out, that would make me just as bad as your crime! You must tell the guards about it. Be honest, it might reduce your punishment." His friend looks him in the eyes, he knows D'Jenghi is right, but he fears he might get executed, so he doesn't know what to do. "Is there really no way you can help me? Please?" D'Jenghi sighs. I'll go with you, just tell everything honestly and explain it in detail. If you don't lie and accept everything the guard says...I'll make sure you won't get sacrficed." His friend knows that it is indeed the right thing to do. "Very well" he says. He steps outside the house and starts walking to the guardhouse, thinking of what will happen to him. D'Jenghi silently follows him and overhears everything his friend is saying. It went as he foretold, his friend was arrested but because he was honest and instantly reported him misstep, he would not be sacrificed. He would be temporarily exiled of the empire. Do you swear to follow the Tlatlanni and uphold his law, and do you swear to hold Metztli and all of her actions as sacred? Aye, that I do. Please include a screenshot or 3D render of your character's skin Side note: I got whitelisted roughly a year ago, where my ingame character is right now, I have no clue, I don't really know if there are any starter kits or locations, but it would be handy if my account could be like resetted or teleported to the proper start location. Thanks
  5. Question: How long ago were the Kharajyr created, how long ago did they flee the island, and how long since they established their new empire?
  6. Hey yall, after being gone for almost a year, I decided I'd want to play again and I'd love to play as a Kharajyr, still any chance of getting my app in somewhere?
  7. I wish minecraft.net was up

  8. Welcome to the server, new orkie!

  9. Mi skin be green but changed grey. Lot of de dust an' smok from da buildin and workin'
  10. IMPORTANT: I didn't see anywhere I had to wait 24 hours for a new application. I woke up this morning, followed instructions by the Application Team and then continued to write and post this application. I didn't have any question so I did not look at the FAQ, hence I didn't know about the 24 hour timespan. Please don't instantly deny this application because I didn't know that. Thank you kindly :) Old app incase you want to see the critic that one got: http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/43069-bearblocks-whitelist-application/page__p__306748__hl__bearblock__fromsearch__1#entry306748 Out-Of-Character: Minecraft Account Name: Bearblock Did you attend minecon and sign up at the LOTC booth?: No, I didn't visit MineCon because I live in Europe and found it too expensive to go there. How old are you?: I am 14 years old. Time-Zone/Country of Residence: GMT+1, Netherlands (West Europe) Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes, on servers like this I always try to have the best language and make very little grammar mistakes, even though English is not my main language. Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am a young boy, although I am quite high in school already. I really like drawing and history. I plan on studying Archaeology in a few years when I go to university. I am also a somewhat skilled writer (In my opinion, ofcourse.) How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I think I could be atleast 2 or 3 hours per day, the moments I don't have much schoolwork. When I have a lot to do for school I tend to be online atleast 1 hour still, on holidays and weekends I can be online up to 8 hours a day, but I most likely won't do that. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: I have been on many roleplay servers, some better than the others. To me, roleplaying means that you create your own character and have your character do something, from surviving on a island to adventuring. I have played both minecraft server roleplays and forum writing roleplays. In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming is simply that you use information for your character that he/she could not possibly know, for example: Someone telling you coords to someone's house, followed by you going there and stealing from here. Powergaming is (I think) somewhat the same as godmodding. You take decisions for other players, and you don't give him a chance to do anything. Example: Bob (me): I will bring you to jail! Charles: *pulls out sword* Then you have to defeat me! Bob: No, I caught you already. What do you expect this server will be like?: I hope this server to have a nice, active community, impressive buildings and fun roleplay. I really enjoy roleplaying on minecraft server and when you have more players the roleplaying will increase. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played for a long time on a few servers: - Honorcraft, I played here for 6 months and then it got shutdown. - Aretecraft, A true roleplay server, it shut down because of a lack of money and donations. - Honorcraft Reloaded. Same staff and community as the old one, I still play here but I just missed roleplay so I decided to seek a new roleplay server. Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes, I have. How did you hear about us?: I asked some friends for a minecraft roleplay server and both answered me to check out this server. Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you? Yes I have, and I must honestly tell you I didn't see a number, but when I go there now the adress bar says id=4137 so I am assuming that is my number. What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?: Bearblock In-Character: Character Name: Grakor Warrax What is your Race?: I chose to be part of the orc race. Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Grakor is a traditional orc, combative, aggressive, big, very strong. He was born in a small settlement. Like all childs in his clan, he was not raised by his parents. Instead, the childs were raised by a special group, chosen to raise the childs of the clan to make sure they would fit in. Grakor was taught many arts and skills at very young age, to quickly find the best future for the little orc. Ofcourse he was also trained in combat. Grakor was one of the weaker fighters in his clan, at a later age, all he did was train just to keep up with the rest of his friends. The things that Grakor was good at, were art(war-tattoos, clan banners, wall decoration etc.), construction and crafting. When he was a tad older, he enjoyed making and decorating weapons and paint war-tatoos on his friends. This ability made him loved by almost everyone in the clan. On this day he still makes weapons and banners. Grakor has also been in many battles with mostly dwarves and humans. Grakor prefers large blunt weapons instead of the sword. He mostly uses a very large bearded axe, made and decorated by himself Grakor also has a good view on art and architecture, he is one of the better constructors of his clan. (before you read on, the old app-reviewer said there are no siege weapons in LotC. I assumed there were because the wiki tells about them.) Grakor has built many buildings in his hometown, walls, towers, houses, temples. Ofcourse they don't match the intelligent constructions the humans and the elves have, but it is really good work by orcish standards. Grakor has a gray-green tinted skin. He is of average lenght. He comes from a nomadic bloodline, however he prefers to stay in settlements instead of travelling. He wears leather clothing, he is bald and he also doesn't wear a helm. Grakor is still relatively young, aging only 34 years, or 136 orcish seasons. He is protective towards his family, clan and homeplace. Everything that comes too close or makes signs of harming his belongings will end up with several crushed bones, often not surviving this. Like all other orcs he eats and drinks a lot, therefor he hunts animals on a daily base. Your characters ambitions: Grakor is a skilled engineer. He knows how to build any orcish siege weapon as well can he build impressive constructions around the settlement or town he resides in. Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? Leave the elf alone! What!? Who is that? Overthere, it's an orc! *In the confusion, the elf manages to back off a little bit, safe from the bandits.* *Grakor runs at the two bandits and makes a gigantic swing with his axe* *One of the bandits quickly jumps back, the other desperately holds up his shield* *Grakor's axe slams on the shield with an unbelievable strenght. The bandit drops to the ground from the impact.* *Meanwhile, the elf took his bow and aims at the other bandit* You! Get out of my sight and never come back! *Holds axe high above his head* Y.y..yes..sir.. *The other bandit takes his companion by the shoulders and drags him away in the forest* Raargh! If I ever see your face again I will bury you 10 feet deep in the ground! *Elf slowly walks up to the orc* Thank you for saving me. *grunt* It's fine. *Grakor walks away* Wait! Grhmm? Do you want any reward? Money? or food? Nuh, don't pay me for what I had to do Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of a human city. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? Grrmph. I am looking for strong metal. Oh, you mean iron right? How much do you want to buy? No, no iron. I want the shiny metal! Sir wants gold! A marvellous choice! I need it for decorating weapon. That's alright matey! How many do you need? All I can get for this money. *takes a handfull of coins and drops it on the counter* Let's see...10..20...25.30.. *Counts the money* I can give you 12 golden bars for that amount. Thank you. *The shopkeeper puts the money away, takes the gold and puts it on the counter* *Grakor puts it in his bag and walks away* Farwell, human. A screenshot of your skin: Other Information: I carefully followed all the instructions you gave me, I hope I get accepted this time!

What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?: Bearblock In-Character: Character Name: Grakor sounds like a nice name to me. I don't know if I am supposed to think up a last name too. If so, please inform me of this and I will think of a fitting last name. What is your Race?: I chose to be part of the orc race. Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Grakor is a traditional orc, combative, aggressive, big, very strong. He was born in one of the smaller settlements, nonetheless raised like all other orc children. Grakor prefers the warhammer and maul in combat, because he can use all his force to smash open skulls with these weapons. Grakor also has a good view on art and architecture, he is one of the better constructors of his clan. He doesn't only build homes, buildings and walls, but also weapons like rams and catapults, not as good as the more intelligent races like the humans, however. Grakor has a dark gray tinted skin. He is of average lenght. He comes from a nomadic bloodline, however he prefers to stay in settlements instead of travelling. He wears leather clothing, he is bald and he also doesn't wear a helm. He knows how to build any orcish siege weapon as well can he build impressive constructions around the settlement or town he resides in. Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? Because orcs and elves respect eachother, Grakor would run into the fight and attack the bandits. After he most likely defeats them, he would take anything they have that values to the orcs. He would not talk much with the elf but rather leave the area. Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? This one feels like a trick question, because the wiki says 'Al'Khazar was blighted by Undead and is now uninhabitable. Anyone who enters the heart of the city will be killed within seconds.' If this is not a trick question, he would wonder why a human being just called him, a big and strong orc, a good sir. A screenshot of your skin: Other Information: I spend well over an hour writing this application, reading the rules, lore and the wiki and creating a skin. I really hope you will accept!
