Personality: Kjara is very trusting of her family, and herself reliable enough for her parents to count on her to keep her siblings out of mischief. She is also very protective of her siblings as the eldest she seems to think that they are her responsibility. Please include a short bio of your character's life: Even from her birth Kjara's parents knew she was a remarkable kitten even going so far as to say she was a miracle from Metztli. She has taken on her father’s Pantera looks. Being the eldest of her litter she would always make sure that they stayed out of trouble. Hearing squeals of anguish coming from the room they were in, she ran in wielding her toy sword and squished it. As you travel through the Karakatuan jungle, you spot a human trespassing on your nation's lands. They came across a small clearing and sit down for a rest ,suddenly they see a human his hair has dark and matted, his clothes ripped and his eyes blood shot. "Please..." he asks "Spare some food!" "Prepare tu die!" exclaims Scar, mercilessly cutting down the man. Kjara watches curiously stating after her father had finished "Tres’pas eq’al ded?" she asks. Scar nods to her knowing that soon she will understand this, but not yet. 2. As you romp through the lands of the "apes", you come across a tavern. Inside this tavern, a Dwarf notices you and starts gawking at you, then begins to speak. "Oi! I gots a bowl of cream for you, Kitty! Ha! I'd bet you would make a nice throw rug, wouldn't ya, ya mangy furball?!" He continues act generally as racist as possible. What do you do?: Upon entering the inn with her father, they go to sit down at the table with the least strong smell of beer. Upon sitting down, her father reaches down pulls out an old map and starts to examine it. Kjara seeing that her father is occupied sees this as a prime time to go investigate this strange place. Wandering up to the bar on all fours Kjara slips, accidentally pulling on a dwarfs coat. -Event Starts Kjara hears the word cream and purrs, licking her lips. “Dis ‘creem’ gud?” “Awk ya stup’d Cat!” the dwarf screams at her whilst he picks her up. Hearing this, her father looks up seeing his daughter being picked up roars. “Let Kjara go ape!” Scar draws his sword and starts to walk towards the dwarf swinging it menacingly. Seeing Scar draw his sword, the dwarf quickly draws a little knife and puts it against Kjara’s throat. Kjara feeling the knife on her throat does the only thing that comes naturally to her, she sticks her small sharp claws into his leg. Dropping the knife and clutching his leg the dwarf screams out in pain, collapsing onto the floor unconscious. Kjara then jumps off the unconscious dwarf 3. One of your fellow Kharajyr and a close friend of yours comes to your dwelling in the middle of the night and begins to pound on your door. After you let him in, he confesses to killing another Kharajyr over a slice of cake. What do you do in response? He was born not 22 years ago to a local village mage and his mysterious wife who died during childbirth. For nine years his Father grieved over his mother but then he stopped. For the next 2 years he became very isolated, and the whole village feared his every move. He took a long trip to the mages Collage. When he returned he was however a different man altogether, he was dark and chaotic, he spurned Oruin to a point of absolute hatred of this father. Then one day he found a diary belonging to his father, which spoke of bringing his mother back from the dead. When he found this he showed it to one of the village elders, having a sheltered life he had no idea what he had done. Then one night he looked out of his window and there outside were an angry mob of village people shouting words like ‘necromancer’ and ‘heretic’. Then his father ran into his room and simply said “Run, run, run, run my boy and don’t look back, I love you.” So that’s what Oruin did and he lived in the wild for seven years where he found and befriended a lone wolf like himself. He has recently emerged from the wilderness and returned to the village which was no in ruins from an orc raid he gathered. When he can to the ruins of his old home he found just a huge pile of ash. Then he went to visit his mother’s grave, where he found a note with just four words on it, it read ‘Her name was Whitestorm’. Upon reading this he vowed that he would find his lost family and so went forth, with just his wits, his wolf and his mother’s name. He has messy brown hair, and usually wears his battered leather armour. He has a very untrusting nature as he was betrayed by the village, also he is quite vengeful and loathing, as he brought about his father’s demise (or so he believes). His favourite food is bread as that was what kept him alive during his time in the wilderness. What is your Character's ambitions?: His main ambition is to find his mother’s family, and his dark secret ambition is to bring back his mother and father. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? The pant of Oruin’s breath looks like smoke in the cold air and he watches the deer skip across the path. He has been hunting it for days now, as it bends down to drink from a pool of rain water Oruin pulls back his bow string to let loose the deadly arrow. He allows this poor creature to have one last drink, whilst watching this he thinks ‘Every creature deserves one last meal’. Just as he is about to pull the string back and end the beasts life he hear “GIVE IT TOO ME NOW HALFLING!” Oruin quickly lets loose the arrow but it is too late the beast is gone. He sneaks along the road side to get a better view of the man who has lost him his meal. At the side of the road he see’s two men harassing a young Halfling. He approaches with caution so as to not alarm the men. He asks with concern in his voice “What has this creature done to deserve this?” The man who appears to be in charge turns to face him with a look of hate in his eyes. This reminds Oruin of the village people the night his father died. He slowly takes out two arrows from his quiver inconspicuously as the man replies “He is a filthy Halfling who is just about to give us all his money” he turns to the Halfling “Aren’t you.” Oruin looks at him with contempt and say in a determined voice “Just leave the lad be or else you’ll be sorry.” “Is that a threat?” the man laughs. “No it’s a promise.” With that the man charges at him with his sword whilst his companion keeps on beating up the Halfling. As the man starts running Oruin notches his arrow and let’s loose hitting the man in the gut. Upon seeing his leader dead the other man runs away down the road. As he passes the Halfling he throws him a loaf of bread saying “There you go lad be more careful next time.” With that he departs into the trees to find out where that deer got to. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? “Hmmm hello you seem ‘very’ friendly, but yes I would like to buys some equipment from you. I would like 30 arrows, one iron sword and a leather helmet please. Oh and just so you know if you charge me extortionate prices I will be forced to find a vendor who is more understanding of my circumstances.” Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Upon leaving the town he finds himself at a hut, upon seeing this (what seems abandoned) hut he decides to wait to see if anyone comes back. He sets himself up in the long grass and waits. After four hours of waiting he goes into the hut and finds a chest. He is about to open it when he quite randomly looks up and see’s a net which upon further inspection is attached to the lock of the chest. He leaves abruptly after seeing this just as he goes back into the long grass. After about an hour he sees a group of goblins go in there and shout “Ther’ ain’t noffin ere t’day!” Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in their common tongue, how do you respond? You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: He grudgingly accepts the task as that road is the way he wants to go. Upon expecting the armour and equipment of the task force assembled he is more inclined to do this task. As payment for his services he asks the town captain for information about the Whitestorms. Upon hearing this, the captain laughs “Oh aye laddy yea should check up north is where they were last I heard.” With that he heads off up to the north with some generous donation from the towns folk for his services. What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I would say I have some moderate experience in terms of Role playing, for instance I frequently play games such as Skyrim and Dragon Age 2, however i also like to play board games such as Dungeons and Dragons and Heroquest. In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: An act of Meta-Gaming is to using information from sources such as the forums and then use it in character to your advantage, such as you read about an event on the forums and then talk about it in game even though your character couldn’t possibly know about that event. In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: An act of Power-Gaming is to (in game) do something your character couldn’t possibly do such as a character who had trained all his life as a warrior is now suddenly a master mage. What do you expect this server will be like? : Well I have heard that this server is the best Minecraft RP there is so my exeptation are quite high, but I have no clue as I am hoping to be happily supprised. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: Other than my friends small server of 4-5 people no, this will be my first full scale server, and I relish the opportunity to impress you. Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes I have read the rules and I completely agree with them; they seem to benefit the server and enhance the RP experience. Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: Yes absolutely as a said above I think that these rules will enhance the RP experience. How did you hear about us?: My friend told me about you his Minecraft username is Tyber1231 and his RP character in your server is called Aren Whitestorm. Have you previously made an Application? If so could you link us to your last Application?: In-Character: Character Name: Oruin Garltuum What Race are you?: Human What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Oruin Garltuum, now that is a tale truly sad indeed. He was born not 22 years ago to a local village mage and his mysterious wife who died during childbirth. For nine years his Father grieved over his mother but then he stopped. For the next 2 years he became very isolated, and the whole village feared his every move.After a few months he took a long trip to the mages Collage. When he returned he was however a different man altogether, he was dark and chaotic, he spurned Oruin to a point of absolute hatred of this father. Then one day he found a diary belonging to his father, which spoke of bringing his mother back from the dead. When he found this he showed it to one of the village elders, having a sheltered life he had no idea what he had done. Then one night he looked out of his window and there outside were an angry mob of village people shouting words like ‘necromancer’ and ‘heretic’. Then his father ran into his room and simply said “Run, run, run, run my boy and don’t look back, I love you.” So that’s what Oruin did and he lived in the wild for seven years where he found and befriended a lone wolf like himself. He has recently emerged from the wilderness and returned to the village which was no in ruins from an orc raid he gathered. When he can to the ruins of his old home he found just a huge pile of ash. Then he went to visit his mother’s grave, where he found a note with just four words on it, it read ‘Her name was Whitestorm’. Upon reading this he vowed that he would find his lost family and so went forth, with just his wits, his wolf and his mother’s name. He has messy brown hair, and usually wears his battered leather armour. He has a very untrusting nature as he was betrayed by the village, also he is quite vengeful and loathing, as he brought about his father’s demise (or so he believes). His favourate food is bread as that was what kept him alive during his time in the wilderness. What is your Character's ambitions?: His main ambition is to find his mother’s family, and his dark secret ambition is to bring back his mother and father. He also wants to train to become a better archer What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): His favorite tool is a hoe, as he used this to farm and stay alive in the wilderness. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? He is very adept with a bow as he taught himself to use one that he stole from the village, when he was young. A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format): Other Information about your Character: He was taught some very minor healing spells by his father. Open-Response-Questions Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? He watches the bandits robbing the small halfling with no remorse, he sighs to himself “Everything comes to an end in this world, even you little one”, he watches as the bandits taunt the Halfling and beat him. When they have looted his possessions worth anything the bandits leave. He then takes the Halflings body and buries it next to the road. He scrapes the date and the name that he found in the halflings cloths on the wall next to the grave. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? “I am sorry but I do not know you and therefore pleasantries are pointless, I will have 25 arrows for this slab of prime beef please.” The merchant refuses so Oruin grabs him by the throat and the merchant gladly obliges giving him 30 arrows instead. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: He first checks for signs of people living there, and when he finds none he takes everything from the chest and then torches the place so that it does not disrupt the wildlife and wolves of that area. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in their common tongue, how do you respond? He tries to speak to them in a similar language, and when they offer him food and drink he graciously declines, and heads out on his way again. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: He grudgingly accepts as that road is the way he wants to go. When asked what reward he would like; he refuses anything and sets out on his way again in search of the Whitestorms.
