((Those of you who are members of Khabbi, please stop posting here. All we are doing is creating OOC hate. I was wrong for starting it, and I thank you all for helping me defend our beloved city, but it was a mistake. We will handle this RPly. We will wait for our summons, or the army, and defend ourselves peacefully when the time comes.)) *Mordecai raises a hand to silence the men around him. A tear runs down his face as he imagines his beloved city crumbling. The loss of the dream hurts more than the loss of any city can.* ((I would also ask that this warclaim remain active. I WANT this to happen. It is not right for me to be able to stop it OOC. It must be done through RP. Please consider all previous arguments I have made to be void, as they were made when I was tired, and a little cranky. I support this claim. I support the RP it will cause. Everything will be resolved.))

I was going to ask you and Godfrey to come and view Khabbi's progress. My character had not left the confines of Khabbi for a long time, and felt the need for some fresh air. Since no one has seen Khabbis progress in a while, I thought it a good idea to show what we were doing to some of the nobles of the empire. ((yes this decision was influenced OOCly, but RPly it could happen at any time. It's not Meta as it was a simple gesture of good will, which my character has a lot of since being absolved of his crimes and spared death by Godfrey.))

((My apologies to all. After a good nights sleep and a little time thinking about it, I know that I reacted in the wrong way. I was just shocked and suprised. After reading Mograka's post, It makes a little more sense now. I was just completely blind sided and I reacted the wrong way. Multiple issues have cropped up recently. We were Xrayed by an individual with perms and lost a lot of resources. Members who had not used Xray were caught in a blanket ban that is still being resolved. I know that these things happen, and the mod staff has been taking very good care of us. Shortly after my Xray ban was lifted, another problem came up that is still being resolved. I know that the RP comes first, and RPly it must be very difficult for outsiders to understand how we do things. If given a chance to resolve things RPly, then I will take it and use it to the fullest. I misunderstood the situation, and thought that we were going straight to a surprise attack without any diplomacy or a chance to clear up the misunderstandings. I will not be available friday as I am making the 12 hour drive back to college, so I wouldn't be able to defend my people, or our right to the land. again, I apologise to everyone involved. I will be on every night this week, and I will make a trip to Oren every night. If I happen to be aprehended, arrested, and therefore given a chance to protest these claims, more the better.))

*Throws up hands in disgust* ((Next time just tell me and I'll give you 200 bucks. That way we can just skip the hours of effort I put into developing the land claim.)) I will welcome you to my home for diplomatic discussion. bring your arms and armor, but do not think to use them. This is a misunderstanding that can be solved with words. If you determine that Khabbi does have traitors, and if we can root them out, then I will kill them myself.

I don't want great RP to be lost, but I also don't want to lose anything OOCly because of RP. I would love some good RP. You just have to understand that I log on to see a warclaim without a single reason that actually happened. I look at the claim and think "Oh, so I donated $200 so that someone could decide they want my claim, and just take it for themselves." If the accusations are true and I don't know about it OOCly AND RPly, then my character will be absolutely fine with you killing some people who are doing things like this behind my back. My characters concerns have only been about building this city. If all of that can be communicated in RP, then that's fine, because I will keep my claims, and I will get to keep building the city. Khabbi is going to be AWESOME when I am finished. If the army shows up and takes me prisoner, fails to listen to reason, and steals my claim and perms, then how can I be happy with that RPly or OOCly? I can't. My character will go back to guarding someones front lawn because of false accusations. That, or permadeath may be required because I'm falsely accused of treason. If you want combat for good RP, then just let us finish the arena we are building, and we'll host a tournament for all of the nobles. Then we can all drink and tell tales of victory in Yursal. You can all get to see what Sabbet is really about.

It was meant to be an edit, not a reply. I hit the wrong button :P Your RP is costing me my $200 of perks. that's the part I cant get over. Some crappy spy fed you false info in RP and it costs me $200 worth of claim that was already benefiting the empire. Not only that but I'm doing COOL things with it. It's when OOCly I lose my claim because of your RP that I take offense.

The thing I don't get is that RPly, you would come to investigate your scouts claims before launching a full scale war.

So RPly your character has been lied to by one person and so is willing to pull out all the stops and go to war? That makes very little sense. So RPly your armies will show up, find no resistance and a bunch of peasants scratching their heads and wondering why all the armed men are entering the city, and decide to just take everyone prisoner and execute them. Then you'll take away my personal claim. Great. My hats off to you.

So basically when you show up Saturday and see that there is no siege gear... which there isn't... And we don't have any mages, just a few people who applied for magic perms for enchanting and runesmithing and the like. Then what? And obviously you haven't looked at a map Uthor, because siege gear would be useless in Khabbi. We are not located inside the empire, we are far, far away as a colony. Building siege gear there would just make a pretty lawn decoration because it would be impossible to get it anywhere useful. Also, I think a little more investigation is in order before you invest in something like this. This would be similar to the magnitude of the crusades due to the distances involved.

I read it. I read it twice. I can't find a single thing on there that I knew about, or that is true.

Okay... this makes 0 sense... We are a part of the Holy Oren Empire, so why would other nations of the empire attack us? The whole rebellion thing got dropped... Plus, Khabbi is a town where the claim is made from personal claims, not a charter. If we lose, which will obviously be the case, do I just lose by bedrock charter? That's a little... ****ed up. We have like six active members at the moment. Lastly, since you did the work to look us up on the map, do you know how ridiculous it is to march to battle across a continent to fight a group who is on your side? Your war-claiming territory that is compliant and tries to keep good standing with the empire... Godfrey declared us a city-state and we swore fealty to the empire. We were VERY happy about the outcome of that RP. I don't know what this stuff about solace is. I have to be honest, I'm kinda pissed off. I'm trying to build a city that does something a little different, and getting **** on for it. Maybe it's the guys who are with me. Maybe I accidentally joined up with a group of idiots. One thing I can tell you though is that I don't know what you have heard in RP, but declaring war against a small village half way across a continent has no RP basis. It is a stupid expenditure of resources when the nobles of the Holy Oren Empire shouldn't even be giving Khabbi a second thought. RPly most of you shouldn't even know what Khabbi is, let alone give it a seconds thought. especially now that there is a freaking army of Iblees cultists marching around the whole continent, and you decide to war claim? I donated money so that I could build a city that met RP requirements but was also a peaceful and unique place for all races to live. I came up with a unique system of government and military, and Godfrey gave me a chance to run that. I am nice to everyone and participate in the community. I hate to whine, but I just got back from a false Xray ban and it is just one thing after another. Just leave Khabbi alone, and instead of Invading, why don't you show up and actually try some of the neat culture we've come up with huh? The boat is FREE for Christ sake. Yet instead of trying to join some RP and see what we have done to make a unique city, you just want to burn it to the ground. I applaud the community on this one.
