I like to play hockey and video games during my spare time, Minecraft being my favorite game. Give a definition of what it means to you: I don't know a lot about it but i would really like to try it out because it seems like loads of fun. In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: From what I've read about it, I think meta-gaming is using information that your character otherwise wouldn't know. Like talking to someone out of the game and using what you know in the roleplay. In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-gaming is giving your character an unrealistic advantage, making him/her more powerful than others. For example, “Jim jumps out of the bush and impales Richie through the heart, killing him instantly.” That is an example of power gaming. “Jim jumps out of the bush thrusting his sword towards Richie. Richie blocks his attack and readies his sword.” That would be correct. What do you expect this server will be like?: From what I've seen i expect it to be really fun and a great community. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: Random PvP servers, and i left because I became bored of them. Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes. (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): A boy samed Salim was once born into a very wealthy family. They lived happily in the city of Al'Khazar.His father was a successful businessman, who planned on handing that business down to Salim. Salim was contempt with his planned future in business, until the age of 9, when he met his uncle. Salim’s uncle, Galthor, was a town guard Came back home from adventuring orcish territory. Though he was only mediocre with a blade, Salim idolized him as a god. Watching his uncle practice with his sword was Salim’s favourite past time. As Aegis fell to the undead, Salim and his family relied on Galthor to keep them safe. As the long days passed Galthor and Salim became very close. Eventually Galthor managed to get Salim and his family into Asulon. They all settled in the city of Hansetti. After all that they had been through Salim had started to idolize Galthor and would visit him every day. After three months of begging, Salim’s parents agreed to let Salim train with Galthor. Salim was made to promise that he still aspired to be a businessman in order to seal the deal. Salim told Galthor the good news right away. With a shining grin on his face Galthor exclaimed “Well then, let’s begin!” and so the two begin training. The next 5 years of Salim’s life flew by in a blur. In the years, he trained hard. He had faced many adventures under the wing of his uncle. They fought the weaker creatures that surround Hansetti. Salim aided him in watching the town, and patrolling some of the minor crimes. Salim’s sword skill had improved drastically, but was by no means fantastic. He learned only what his uncle could have taught him. But finally, after 5 long years, he was finished. He had learned all of his uncles talents and moves and could move on with his life. He could now be a businessman, taught in the way of the blade. One night, Salim was taking a walk outside. He was on his was on his way to the shed to grab his blade and train. Half way to his shed he heard a large creak, followed by a jumble of crashing noises and sound. On full alert, Salim grabs his blade and rushes to the sound. As he gets closer he begins to hear cries and scream. Adrenaline begins to pump through him, he runs faster. But as he nears the sight screams occur more often, and become louder. He turns a corner to see the local barracks in ruins. The whole building crashed down on itself, and is now one, large pile of rubbish. Instantly he thinks of his uncle. He dashes towards the barracks and begins moving large pieces of lumber. He throws piece by piece angrily, panting and crying. After a few minutes of throwing wood around, he comes to the realization that no one survived. He falls to his knees, burying his face in his palms. Salim suddenly stops sobbing. Wiping his tears he realizes that his largest influence is gone. He begins to understand what he wants in life. Salim doesn’t want to be a businessman, no. He wants to be like his uncle. A noble guard, protecting the innocent. Without a word said to anyone, he picks up his sword, walks away from the crumbled barracks and all of the sobbing townspeople, and into the forest. Salim leaves looking for the life he always wanted, answering by a new name. Galthor. What is your Character's ambitions?: Galthor wants to keep training to be the best that he can, and he wants to help people. He one day wants to settle down and become a city guard. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): A Sword. Galthor is a warrior whos only training lies in swordsmanship. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? He was a great swordsman for his age, but was nothing compared to most warriors. A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format): Other Information about your Character:: Galthor loves to dance. Open-Response-Questions Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Galthor – Hey! Leave him alone you gorillas! “ The two warriors turn to Galthor with menacing looks. Warrior- what are you Going to do about it.” The second warrior laughs and raises his weapon. *Galthor unsheathes his sword *the Halfling quickly scurries away. Galthor – I don’t want to do this… One warrior jumps towards Galthor and swings his sword at Galthor’s chest but misses by an inch. Galthor quickly realizes that he can’t take on both guards. Galthor swings his sword towards the warrior’s leg, but misses. Galthor grabs a handful of dirt, he looks up to see another swing flying towards his face. he ducks under the blade, winds up, and throws the dirt at the warriors. the dirt flies at the warriors but doesn't do much damage. The warriors become slightly disoriented for a few seconds, giving Galthor enough time to run for it. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Galthor looks through the small stall to find any gear or weapons that could be of use. after looking through a pile of damaged armour and tools, he finds a sword crafted out of solid iron. The sword was crafted well and was in fair condition. Galthor "How much for this sword? It’s magnificent! “ Merchant “That would be 50 minas for you sir. “ Galthor believes that it is a great deal, and thanks the man. Galthor reaches into his bag and gets 50 minas, He pays the man gives him a smile and leaves. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Galthor Examines the hut thoroughly making sure that it truly is abandoned. After confirming that it is, he puts the sword into his pack looks around for anything else that could be of use. He scavenges empty cupboard and drawers, searching for any valuables he can claim. After a few short minutes, he gives up and prepares to leave. He walks outside to see that the sun is setting. Galthor has travveled a long distance, and doesn't feel like facing the creatures of the night whilst controled by such fatigue. A fairly comfortable looking cot catches his eye. He undresses and claims the cot for the night. In the morning, he gets his stuff, grabs a quick snack, and continues on his journey. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?Galthor "hello, I have been travelling for days and am without food. I offer you any help I can be of if you give me a place to stay and some food" Resident “We would gladly take you in, you look exhausted!” Galthor “Thank you very much sir” Galthor stays in the camp and makes friends with a few of the residents. Some residents are adventures like him. others are more simple, making their living farming or fishing. But no matter what the profession, all the villagers seemed to be equal to one another. unlike most of the realm, classes do not exist here. They are all kind hearted folk, and Galthor becomes glad that he had landed here. he works at a mill for a few days to repay them for their hospitality and friendshipe, and after a long goodbye, he heads back into the wilderness. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Galthor approaches the guards Galthor "what’s going on here?" Guard “We need as many able bodied men as we can ! there are bandits on the outskirts of town!” Galthor “I will gladly help you get rid of these pests.” Guard “Grab a sword and come with us” Galthor picks the biggest sword on the weapons rack and follows behind the guards. When they finally reach the bandit encampment, they find that they outnumber the bandits. The guards and Galthor charge into the bandit camp, taking on the bandits head on. The guards outnumber the bandits and take them down quickly. Galthor makes his way to the leader of the bandits and engages him in battle. The bandit leader swings at Galthor hitting him on his leg, bleeding fast and about to be killed Galthor makes a final swing at the bandit leader. Galthor's swing meets the bandit leader's sword mid-swing, hitting his weapon out of his hand. The remaining guards rush towards them taking down the bandit lord.

Powergaming is creating a character with a goal and ingnoring the atmosphere to achieve that goal, a powergamer gets to the highest level ina game as fast as they can What do you expect this server will be like?: i expect this server to be a load of fun and very interesting. He was raised on the farm and through his youth he devlolped into a very skilled fighter. Higgle trained every day with his sword and bow, one day hoping to be the best. Higgle is now 20 years old with brownish hair, light eyes and a medium build. Higgle is always in a great mood and you will rarely see him mad. His overall goal is to be successful in the world of Aegis. Your characters ambitions: Higgle wants to make a lot of money and eventually own his own house. Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?
