  1. OOC: List of Horses, their various breeds and current owners Decolamb: SirNublet:
  2. ((Thats void then cause clan fighting is happening, with what little weight my opinion has I vote to destroy this rule))
  3. ((McHaryns are just robots... Duty before everything. Emotionless bastards, well they aren't emotionless but they hide emotions very well.))
  4. ((Don't want to bust your bubble but in order to be a McHaryn you must apply, the very fact that your char is part orc is against McHaryn lore, honour and duty is so extremely beaten in that they rarely even show emotion making them extremely reliable soldiers. Unless a female rMcHaryn was forced by an orc ((Which is against server rules)) then that would never happend, also McHaryns were wiped out in the rebellion, only a handful survived and they are all males. Sorry to have to say this but I don't want an ugly seven foot tall female running around with our name. We are actually nobles of Oren and I have a goal of a specific image that McHaryns are, this character would completely and utterly wreck that image. Once again apologies but your char cannot be a McHaryn))
  5. ((Lol that's true what you said but we sound lame, lowlanders?! Highlanders sound epic. But yes two Adunian factions, they aren't publicly against each other to my knowledge although individual clans have blood feuds, well McHaryn still hates Campbells and O'Keefes))
  6. Starke McHaryn sat quietly in the sparsely decorated tent that was his temporary dwelling. His family blade Grim Claw lay horizontally across his knees, naked blade dully reflecting the moon light that shone through the half open tent flap. In recent days it was this action of physical contact with his blade that helped him to think, the familiar feel of the fine steel eased his swirling thoughts and sub consciously made him feel secure. His insides were a wash of emotions, anger, sadness, confusion but as always his sense of duty and honour reigned supreme within his waking consciousness. If one was to look at Starke right at that moment one would see no trace of emotion present, no anger or joy, just the neutral features of one who had become desensitized to the actions around him, one who had worshiped duty his whole life and so had developed an extreme ability to hide all sense of emotions. A candle flickered on the table to Starke's right, the flame spluttering in one final effort before dying, the once tall wick now a melted pool of wax. Starke as always kept one ear open, so it was at that moment in deep thought that he heard the dull thump of something or someone landing with little grace over the strong walls of the Ildician Fort. Barechested and wearing only some light leather pants and boots, Starke rose silently and walked with the grace of one who had spent their whole life perfecting the art of coordination and movement, traits of extreme importance to a swordsman. Grim Claw lay in the familiar grasp of Starke's left hand, its nakedness a symbol of Starke's willingness to deal with any who would intrude. Moving carefully Starke walked to the gate, goose bumps raised on his arms, whether from the nights cool air or perhaps something...else. A Grey Shirt knight was peering with an intense gaze into the darkness of the surrounding land outside their walls. He hadn't yet noticed his commanding officer's presence and was instead contemplating the thought of alerting Starke on what he perceived as movement in the darkness. Starke watched silently for a few moments before raising his voice. "Sir Deson, I trust there is nothing of importance that has come to your attention?". The knight who was indeed Sir Deson turned around quickley before giving off a hasty salute. "I thought I saw something sir... but perhaps it is my fatigue, I was watching as ever when suddenly I saw movement beyond the river?". Starke frowned in thought, usually he would have dismissed this as a startled rabbit or perhaps a wandering farmer, but no... something didn't feel right. The recent events of the last four days were fresh in his mind, just when he was about to return to his dwelling the shadow of an unrecognizable lump could be seen in the curve of the fortress walls. Starke remained motionless for a second then decided to investigate, walking over he narrowed his eyes to see the lump better, bending down he grabbed the lump and pulled it into the light reflecting off the watchman's torch. The lump appeared to be wrapped in the blood soaked tabard of a Grey Shirt Squire, the material badly torn, unwrapping the lump with a sense of dread Starke found dull dead eyes staring back at him, the face even in death was still twisted in what looked to be sheer terror with a touch of defiance. The only movement of Starke's face was a small quiver in his upper lip, to those watching it would appear Starke had found a lump of wood instead of the head of and Ildician squire by the name of Wendel Uppings. But Starkes insides were a rage of flaming, molten hatred and anger. Starke looked again at Wendel and remembered the promise he gave to Wendel's mother to keep him safe. The pit of his stomach hardened to a core of black passionate hatred and blood lust to the one who did it. In Starkes mind only one man was capable of doing this, only one man had the crazed attitude to want to do it. Speaking low and only so he could hear Starke whispered. "The Oath Breaker walks again, and death will soon greet him". It was true, Tance Nikkelsen once grey shirt knight, now blood enemy was indeed walking and the evidence was gripped tightly by the hair in Starkes white knuckled hands.
  7. ((YOU LEGEND! Thanks man XD I saw that and I thought... could it be? Did my little unknown clan get a shout out? ANyway cheers mate im so pumped now!))
  8. Starke McHaryn, Adunian lord still deeply loyal to Oren, was sitting quietly at the desk in his tent contemplating recent events effecting the welfare of his people who still called themselves loyal subjects of Oren. He was woken from his thoughtful stupor by a loud knock on the tent pole of dwelling. Slightly startled at being disturbed but showing no sign of it he looks up and finds the anxious face of his squire staring down at him, raising his eyebrows in question Starke waits for his squire to speak. "Sir, there is a rider here, he bears the emporer's seal. I was ordered to give you this." At this Rydel stepped forward handing Starke a tightly bound scroll with the unbroken seal in plain light. Breaking it open Starke raised his eye brows once again before silently nodding his head, turning to his squire he spoke quickley and calmly. "Rydel send a messenger to Thorenir, if the emperor wills it the Ildician Grey Shirts and the McHaryn clan will answer the call. The time to wipe clean the stain of dishonour caused by our kinsmen begins now. Call the men to arms and spread the word, I want them ready to march fully armoured in half a day. We ride for the Emperor". At this sentence Rydel bowed his head respectfully before exiting the tent rushing to do what his lord commanded. Starke returned to his study as solemn as ever, his facial features giving away nothing of his inner thoughts.
  9. *Starke Replys* I have a pair of Drays but they are fairly old, I could sell them cheap if you wished. Would you like me to advertise them?
  10. ((If I am capable of providiing horses then yes you will, but its up to the tek team and server admins!)) *sends a note back to Zevandir* Hail Zevandir, I would be delighted to inspect it, I will send word when the deed is done. Signed Starke McHaryn ((I am assuming you're asking how I got these horses as 4 year olds and things rights? Well as I stated for the first time McHaryn horses are being offered for sale. These weren't created overnight, i've actually roleplay wise had them for a while in a horse field set up as blocks))
  11. ((Thanks man, also link to McHaryn Horse Archives will be added shortly. Those who purchase a horse can regularly check their horse profile and send me a PM if it needs to be updated, cheers guys.))
  12. OOC: *A notice is pinned to various trading boards around the Kingdom of Oren, the prancing emblem of a spirited stallion is seen at the top of the flyer, looking closer you realize it is an add for the selling of mounts* Hail citizens of Oren, my name is Starke McHaryn and all my life my family have been heavily involved with various mounts and the breeding of these mounts. For the first time in history our breeding books have become known and we are looking to sell some of our mounts. Below are the horses currently up for sale, their attributes and a rough sketch will be shown, all potential buyers interested in purchasing one of the following mounts are more than welcome to attend our county horse fields for an in depth discussion on said mounts characteristics. Horses currently for sale: Purple Roan Haryn, Gelding Liver Chestnut Southern Apollo, Filly/foal (Mare) Lilac Roan Southern Apollo, Colt/foal (stallion) Horses now SOLD: Bay Haryn, Stallion [sOLD!] Chestnut Southern Apollo, Gelding [sOLD!] If ye have any wish to purchase these mounts or even just look at them send me a bird or post below this advert I assure you my mounts are of a high standard and quality.
  13. *Starke replies again* I am currently the lord of the County of Vivyaen in the kingdom of Oren. That is where the horses are kept, I could lead you there from a place of your choosing, or send a servant to lead you there, when can we meet?
  14. *Starke McHaryn answers the man in plain clothing* I have a variety of palfreys that I have bred in the passed five years. Depending on your needs I can sell three horses (with tack) for 650 minas. The Palfrey's I intend to sell are specifically bred for travel, take heed that they are not war horses, I have trained them for the use of mobility and comfort. They'll be able to handle slightly rough terrain as two generations back I bred their sire with a Garron mare, you'll not find more loyal mounts. If the coat of the mounts interests you the palfreys I intend to sell are a deep red roan, a dusty bay, and a dappled gray. The Roan is a gelding, the bay is a stallion but gray is a mare. Their form is of quality, their garron blood allows them to navigate rougher terrain than your usual palfreys. I have trained them to not shy at deep water, if you wish to ford a deep river remove their tack and they'll swim across fine with you. However there is one thing you should know, as I mentioned previously they are not war horses, they have in the passed shied at the smell of blood. Be careful where you take them as blood will excite them and make them hard to control. These palfeys could easily outrun the heavy set destriers you see militants riding. Send word if you are interested in the deal.
  15. *Starke McHaryn writes a quick note underneath the mans* Hail friend I am a man who loves mounts and their various abilities. I would be more than happy to sell three mounts, however more information on the qualities of your mounts would be required. Warhorses? Palfreys? Garrons? Drays? What are you looking for friend, my family is well known by my race as being breeders of fine horses. More information would be appreciated, I can also throw in tack as well. Sincerely Starke McHaryn.
  16. *A letter is sent to the wolf, opening it you see what it says* OOC:
  17. *A poster is found on the Salvus notice board it reads* GOLD INGOTS!! GOLD INGOTS!! Are you in need of Gold Ingots?! If so I am selling them extremely cheaply, gold ingots from as little as 18 minas an ingot! We have 30 for sale, if you are interested just write a note in the spare space provided or send a bird to Starke McHaryn ((Minea)). They must go as we have little use for them! SOLD OUT!
  18. [[This seems like a weird mixture between the Rhodirs and an Adunian Clan?? But nice work mate good luck]]
  19. *An Adunian Hawk somehow finds its way to your feet, it lifts its leg and you notice a tightly rolled note, opening it up you read* Hail Tyrannous, It appears that you would suit our life very well, Tance has contacted me on the matter of squireship, and I approve of the partnering. You would do well to contact Tance Nikkelsen as soon you are able, from your application it seems training isn't needed, but nonetheless tradition still stands. The uniform of the Fheum will be given to you upon meeting Tance. Sincerely Starke McHaryn *the bottem of the letter is stamped with a roaring Grey bear*
  20. ((Yes... so just so everyone knows IC I am now the temp "leader" the the adunians, this isn't my doing but Owl's and im happy to help out))
  21. [[Extreme update, we are now a knightly order, squire rank added, squire uniform added. Knights/full order members can now take on a maximum of one squire unless special request is made to the Ordhu commander. Said knight will tell order panel of judges when their various squires are ready, this will in turn bring a council together that will test said squires in various areas, if they pass then they are enlisted and promoted as a Grey Shirt Ildician Knight. To now become a Grey Shirt one must find a knight as a "master" to train them, if there are no knights available as mentors then there will be no recruitment into the order, list of available knights are posted]].
  22. Can we get a staff update saying that its temp disabled? It has caused a lot of confusion in the player base on my side. Can someone maybe lock this saying its temp/perma disabled??

    Land!

^^^^ This is exactly the truth, my char has land as he is an Adunian noble, but like him and MANY others you'll be taxed for whatever you produce on that land, so be prepared to lose some of your profit to nobles seeking to be richer.
