  3. ((Using it as a northern outpost and safe haven is the lamest excuse, its no where near the north, why don't we all be honest here, hour glass wants more land. Not that wanting land is against the rules, but really thats why we have been warclaimed literally 2 hours after we got the island))
  4. Starke McHaryn was in the cabin of his war sloop, suddenly a strange spirit appeared and began ranting. *The Spirit of Arthal Lowedge summons himself down to the Knight who found him, struggling to stay in the overworld. He does so when the Knight is alone. Arthal begins to speak.* "Now, I saw you found my sword. Woopdy fuckin' do for you. Now, to honor my dead body out th-" *The Spirit stops talking a moment, and looks over his shoulder. He sighs." "Fine dear, I'll ask nicely. Ploughin' wench." *The Spirit looks back at the Adunian Knight.* Now, good bastard Adunian. I request you find Rose Valois. Find her. Lovely lady. Find her, and give her that longsword, eh? I've left her with everything. My daughter, and I want her to have my old sword. Give her the Identification card too, eh? And do me a favour. Kick some of those shithead elves asses for me, eh? Ain't none of 'em are up here, but that's a good thing, I guess! Haha!" *The Spirit fades away.* Starke McHaryn sits quietly for a little bit, despondently almost before laughing loudly, while looking at the blade. T'was a fine weapon, silverblade smiths probably. He had no intention of doing as the spirit asked, the sword although rightfully the knight's daughters, had already done much evil at the hands of rose, or so thought Starke. He decided we would not speak of it, instead stowing it under his bed and sleeping on what to do. Perhaps he would give it, I mean its only right, he thought. But then again, she was the daughter of a rose! Sleep would definitely do him good.
  5. ((Alrighty, also mate this war claim has no location or anything))
  6. ((Alrighty no problem, kinda jacked up but hey.))
  7. ((Lol I know of this trade, however I had zero knowledge of this war claim. Alrighty, whats the reason for war claim? And fricking hell that is so slack of Jarkarll, he said nothing of this war claim. EDIT: Not that it matters, but I have never nor will I ever play TF2 haha))
  8. ((I know nothing of this war claim, none of the previous owners or members have it any more, what is the reason for warclaim? A new organisation owns it))
  9. Starke McHaryn turned to his men, all of them grim and silent in the morning fog. Without a word Starked turned and squinted to the north, the sea dead and silent, the small war sloop he was captaining unusually still. The only sounds were the waves gently lapping against the oaken hull. Turning to his second in command, Jon Owl, Starke spoke quietly, his gruff voice breaking the ominous silence. "That's surely land Master Owl, although we won't be able to take her in, rough reef's line the shores." Jon nodded his head slowly, without a sound, and turned to the crew and fellow wolvengard knights, giving the command to lower a small dinghy. "We'll go in on the dingy Lord McHaryn, but I would recommend going in full kit. This island... something isn't right." Starke nodded, absent-mindedly strapping on his heavy bastard sword, chain mail softly clinking as him and three others climbed down into the dingy. Starke called up softly, instructing the remaining men to leave the island if something went amiss. The group in the dingy were quiet as they made their way to the island, and quiet still when the sound of wood scraping sand was heard, not a word was said as they all jumped out. Starke spoke softly, the heavy fog still shrouding most of the island. "Something doesn't feel right lads, keep your blades ready and stay close". The three knights did as instructed, constantly looking around at the unfamiliar terrain. All of them were experienced soldiers, fighting throughout their lives under different masters, but even so the eery silence of the island was unnerving. Without a word Starke started down the beach, his men in tow, passing a corner a small flutter of cloth caught his eye. All four of the knights stopped, and as one removed their helms and bowed their heads. Starke walked slowly forward and dropped to a crouch, inspecting what lay before him. The dried skeleton of a man sat in front of Starke, lying in a slumped position. Looking closer Starke realised the man was wearing a rose tabard, and that his shrivelled hand still clutched a fine long sword. Starke reached forward grabbing a scrunched leather package in the man's other hand, reading slowly, Starke spoke up. "It seems the lad's name was Arthal Lowedge, I hated the roses, most adunians do, but I will nae doubt their courage and strength. No warrior deserves to die like this, let us respect him in death, and bury him where he lays. Might he have rest in the afterlife." The knights bowed their heads before two of them started digging a grave quickley, the other standing guard with Starke. When the grave was dug, Starke grasped the long sword, its edges still sharp and gave the order to move out. The group made their way back to the waiting ship, all of them glad to be rid of the eery feel. Silence was their only companion as the ship and her crew departed.

  14. Sir that is a bold claim, I would be delighted to sell it. However I have vast amounts, with all due respect to your station I must politely state that you may not have enough coin. If you do however have enough coin then I will be more than delighted to sell. Edit: My assumption was correct sir, you do nae have the sufficient gold to buy it and your character was questionable. Gold will only be traded at cloud temple under armed guard, not the open road. Farewell.
  15. The Wolvengard The Wolvengard are simply a group of men and women devoted to excellence in their own chosen field. Whether the study of tomes, advancement of magic or the way of the warrior, all Wolvengard members devote themselves to perfection. Hidden away on an island in the northern seas, the Wolvengard cut themselves away from the world in the pursuit of perfection of skill and seeking of knowledge, perfecting everything we can in order to answer the problem of the north. Order Goal Our goal as an order is to seize every bit of knowledge possible, anything to help answer the problem of the north, and help us in our struggle. This will be done through the discovery of tomes, the "acquirement" of different ships and their designs, of different armour makes the placement of spies in kingdom's staff, the constant practise of skill, and investigation of kingdom citizens. Ranks *A sketch of the Lord Commander is pinned to the book* Lord Commander: The leader and general of the Wolvengard brotherhood. This man has vast experience in war, supreme leadership qualities and the wisdom of life. Council of Men: There are usually five Wolvengard on the council of men, each of these members are equal in voice and authority, they each have the right to lead lower ranks and know the Lord Commander very well, usually having served with him for many years. One does not have to have a militant nature to serve on this council. Cavaliers: The highest rank of Wolvengard warriors. This rank is the highest knightly rank in the Wolvengard, holders of this rank may carry the title "Sir", although are not subject to it. They are the equivalent of lieutenants and are in turn highly trusted and respected by the council of men and the Lord Commander. Kruss: The Kruss' are the veterans of Wolvengard raids and wars. They have proven themselves time and time again to be capable of battle and leadership, this rank is also a knightly rank able to hold the title "Sir", but are not subject to it. Rover: A Rover is a Wolvengard warrior chosen to travel afar gaining knowledge in arms and information from kingdoms, when they have proven themselves as able warriors on foot and beast then they will be knighted advanced to a Kruss Knight. *A sketch of a Wolvengard Kruss* *A sketch of a unit of rovers scouting the north* A Keeper is a Wolvengard civillian, someone devoted to the study of various arts. Whether smithing, stealing, practising magic or doctoring. A keeper is equal in rank to a rover. When a Keepers proves themselves they will advance to Magister, Magister's are equal in rank to Cavaliers. *A sketch of a band of armoured Kruss preparing for a raid* Uniform *A small sketch is done of a Wolvengard Cavalier* Cavaliers will be expected to wear the plate mail uniform. All other Wolvengard members, specifically keepers, may wear the clothes of their profession with the Wolvengard sigil emblazoned somewhere on their person. *A small sketch is done of a Wolvengard Kruss* Kruss Knights will be expected to wear the plate uniform, helmets are optional. *a small sketch is done of a Wolvengard Rover* Rovers will be expected to wear the black chain and wolf cloak ranger garb. What you will get upon entry If accepted into the Wolvengard fellowship, one will gain safe haven onto our hidden island. A place to study in peace, access to our fleet and supplies to fulfill one's profession. All Kruss, and Cavaliers will be given a Wolvengard Destrier, rovers will be allowed to use the mounts on scouting missions but only with an officers permission. If joining as a Rover one will also receive a new weapon of their choice, and a set of chain maile forged by Wolvengard smiths. Recruitment If one desires to join the Wolvengard fellowship, then an application must be filled out ((beneath this thread)). A meeting will be arranged on the main land between Wolvengard members and applicants. Depending on their chosen field they will be tested, and if successful gain access to the Wolvengard Abbey.
