1. MC Name: Cody_14 Character Name: Akal'Taelesh I want my character to be turned into a Dread Knight (Y/N): N I want to become apart of your group because: I wish to be apart of the group to witness the amazingness of the Dread Knights, and to have fresh role play given, and added on. This all seems rather interesting, and I was hoping to be apart of it. It also springs from an IC reason, where Akal'Taelesh found a Dread Knight, whom suggested if they he and the associate he was with at the time (whiteoak123) were so interested, they could find his brethren. As such, Akal'Taelesh set off, to find these Dread Knights, and learn more of them. What can I bring to this group?: A new take on things, with every new person comes with new possibilities, offering more dyamanics. In addition, I obviously want to bring along a cultist willing to help the Dread Knight's to their goal. Can you play nice, and be willing to sit down with someone and explain something politely and cooperatively if something goes wrong, or someone is confused?: Yes, everyone needs help at some point or another. I may not be the best at explaining things, but I will help those in need, as some day it could be me in the similar position, and I'd hope for none the less. Time zone: Central Time USA. GMT-5 Central Standard Time.
2. I can agree with making minas more useful. I can tell you, there has been only been about four things I've bought. One was drugs for my character, another was alcohol, one was a restaurant while waiting OOCly for a buddy, and the last one was alcohol again. Basicly, I just go to the wilds, make wheat fields, and harvest crap loads of food. Then I troll around with three stacks of bread until I die, then I just troll on back to the Wilds for some more free food. I doubt killing animals will do much more than make people frustrated. As for idea one, I'm thinking that's cool as long as it doesn't go too far. Otherwise we'll have no one online during winter 'months' due to food shortages that no one has the food for, or wants to waste the food for. Increasing hunger may help, but I don't see major increases. Major item sink + make items more rare later on for 4.0. Everyone and their mother has at least an iron sword from the infinite mines. I doubt five would REALLY work. I dislike the idea of four, simply because I don't trust ONE person to help against a bunch of antags. Doesn't sound realistic.
3. I'm not entirely sure why, but I love eating as an Orc. Since they supposedly eat in a very messy manner, I enjoy making it as messy as possible. Then I'd love the whole, head bunt greeting thing. I don't really see it used, but it was sure fun to use when I did ((At one time)) play an orc to do so. It's also got to be ((In my opinion)) the most creative of all the races. From it's past where the first had his appearance changed along with his personality to be blood thirsty, to the fact they speak blah. All of it, to me, seems very appealing at times. Well, hope this post of fun things I like about the orc helps all of you aspiring orcs. Oh yeah... totally off topic but... First!
4. Cross looks at the parchment, reading through each and every of the previous wishes, laughing occasionally and sometimes wiping at his teary eyes. Finally, he reaches the end, he digs around his pockets. Eventually, he finds some charcoal within one. He begins writing on the parchment with his sloppy handwriting. I wish for. . . a tome on illusion magic. Or something along those lines. It has always interested me, and I wish for the knowledge within it. If you cannot grant this, then I just want a steed. Thank you for your work though, we all appreciate it. ~Cross. ((MC Name- Cody_14 ))
5. Carter scribbles onto a poster with a piece of charcoal. I am interested in this island that you mentioned. My name is Carter, and I'm a human. While I may not be there all the time, the idea of a peaceful town life interests me, and I'd appreciate the chance to become a part of this. Contact me however you see fit. ~Carter.

7. Frank Sinatra. Yeah, yeah.
8. Lookin' for Zarsies, to slay some... Cows.

9. Alright, I've played a bit recently, and read over everything. Here's some of my opinions. 1. We need to go back to RP default. It's a RP server, and should remain that way. With PVP, it's no loner roleplay, just who has the fastest computer and who can click the faster while not being clicked. Where's the fun in that? Also, with the PvP default, you have guys who would otherwise lose the fight if tactics were involved, winning because they have a bunch of iron and can click a button. That demonstrates that you can kill people, not roleplay properly. I think it should go back to RP, and keep it that way. Heck, if it makes people happy even implement using dice rolls. Just stay away from PvP, as I'm just speaking for all the people who use laptops or lag, it makes it a lot less fun to die from a guy who can click better, than you just not being the better roleplayer. 2. The Nexus System. I personally dislike this as well. When I'm fighting mobs, they don't have to reset, why should I? Along with that, the stamina bar. Realisticly, if you're fighting for your life you wouldn't give two shits about how tired you feel, and you'd push yourself to either run away, or win. You can't tell me that in history, all men during war swung a sword three times then hid away for five seconds to recharge. No, they fought and fought, until someone came a victor, even if their muscles ached, and they were exhausted. So why should anyone be so weak? 3. The magical locks. I'm okay with them, as long as the person who placed them there are magical. But otherwise, I'd prefer a cunlock on things. It's just a bit more realistic in my opinion. It allows for more people to have access without the owner's constant pat on the back and push in. It's just sort of, I guess, annoying to see all these people strutting around with magical doors when I bet about 95% have no magical powers what so ever. If that. That's why I suggest cunlocks, it's like realistic locks, oh hey. You forgot your cunlock password=Oh hey, you forgot your keys. Same thing. Remember to grab it, or remember to write it down. 4. The realism problem. I see people marching around with swords and axes like it's no big deal and they know how to fight with them. When realism says that this could never occur. I admit, I have done this too, but if we bring back RP default and make people RP train more, it'll encourage more roleplaying. Also, it'll encourage less random attacks from the untrained, which cuts down on villians who kill cause they automaticly have the knowledge to wield a weapon like that. As such, even if it was a bit more difficult, I suggest a forum where you post maybe screenshots of you training alone or have people vouch that you trained with them. While this may be tiresome to people, it will at least cut down violence, at most encourage RP amongst people. 5. The antagonist. No one seems to really care. It's gotta have more OOMF to it. Something really bad, causing people to want to repel this threat. While I'm not sure what it could be, I'm saying it's rather necessary to increase the people who are active in this cause. This is more of a quickly thought of opinion part (number five) and as such, one may see holes in my logic, and are allowed to disagree with this one. ~That's all I have to say about that.
10. Character Name Nicknames: "Cross" Age: 19 Gender: Male Race: Human Status: Alive. Curious. Becoming Depressed. Description. Height: He's about 5'7. Weight: Roughly 120. (He's missing a leg, cut him a break. -Din din, dink!-) Body Type: Mean and lean. Just kidding, he's a bit more than average in skinny, due to his recent slow oncoming of depression from having lost a leg. This makes him eat less, and in turn while he is still strong, he just doesn't have the stamina to keep up with things anymore, lacking that build up of energy. This may change. Eyes: A cyan color of sorts. Hair: Black hair, that is all over the place. Skin: He is rather pale, but that is attributed to his past in which he was constantly kept inside and locked away for his behavior which others frowned apon, even if he meant to protect the weak or cause no harm. Markings/Tattoos: Health: Reasonably well, currently. He is a bit sore from constantly going around on one leg. Personality: He's rather justice driven, even if it's dangerous for his health. That, and he is deeply curious. Depending on the benefits of a thing, it is weighed by both, and whichever wins he goes with. This often may lead him doing things lacking moral for the sake of learning knowledge, or losing a chance to learn of something to protect another. However, he isn't stupid, and if he sees it is futile, he won't try. No point in him getting hurt if he can't do anything. Inventory: He carries some money around with him at all times, who knows where he keeps the rest. He also typically carries some food along, for long adventures if they ever arise. He also carries an axe and it's sheath, that he claims was from an Orc he had killed. Further Details: He feels a bit out of things now a days, a bit more of a downer. His normal cheerful-ness is gone, and replaced with a more cold, and calculating man. For a good theme song: Almost Human. Voltaire. Life Style Alignment*: Neutral Good. Deity*: ? Religion: Open to all concepts. Alliance/Nation/Home: He doesn't really have a home. He'll sleep anywhere, and he travels a lot. Job/Class: He has no current job, but he has experience in a few fields, giving him the ability to pick one if the need arises. As such, he is rather poor, and can't afford the nicer things in life. Title(s): N/A Profession(s): Being an adventurer of sorts. Seeking out things that interest him deeply. He has minor experience in farming, carpentry, and handling farm animals. Special Skill(s): He knows how to fight with crutches, like any true cripple. He also has some "Special" fighting skills when it comes to being unarmed, or so he believes. Flaw(s): He is missing a leg, obviously. Also, he is a bit too hard headed, fighting until it's over, and never giving up. He is too Justice driven, plunging him into a heap of trouble often. He is rather curious, driving him to do stupid things and going places he shouldn't. ~Magic~ Current Status: He's interested, but has little knowledge on the subject itself. Arch-type: Sub-Type: Rank: Weakness(es): Strength(s): Current Spell(s): Weaponary Fighting Style: Surprise tactics. Aiming for pain centers, and not relenting. Trained Weapon: His crutches, since he uses those every day and gets plenty of practice with it. Both are semi-nicely made, and about the same size. They can be lifted and swung, and cause some damage if hit in the appropriate areas. His fists. Not much of a weapon as it is what he falls back onto, having a lot of experience with this. Longsword. He's used it a few times, not much better than the average bandit or thug, but certainly better than any common person who shouldn't be using a sword in the first place Favored Weapon: His crutches, as they can back quite a punch when used correctly, and there are two of them, allowing him to switch his attacks back and forth. Archery: Cross has no archery skills. Biography Parents: Angela, deceased. James, critical health. Siblings: None. Children: None... Yet? Extended Family: Alive: Dana, James' sister who is taking care of him. Pet(s): None. Current History. -From Carter's Diary.- Entry 7. I finally finished working at the farm, and realized how little I liked such life. Along with working as a fisherman, and a carpenter. I dislike such jobs, my life needs more adventure then being just another ordinary citizen. It may not ever come true, but I wish for a life filled with excitement, glory, something that sates my desires. Entry 22. I met a Dread Knight recently. He described to me what I desire, the knowledge. Immortality, with such a thing like that, I can take all the time necessary to learn whatever I want. With that in mind, I decided to go along with him. He was a bit cranky, but I think it may be due to something he mentioned about recently turning. I honestly wonder what these guys are all about. Entry 26. I've done some things I'm not proud of, as I've said above. And I know that I may have to continue such things, for the sake of knowledge. But often times at night, I lay there tossing and turning, questioning if what I do is truly worth it. These troublesome thoughts often plague me deep into the day, making me question if what I do is right. Now that I look at these people, I feel as if I'm no better than the people I despise, and it frightens me. No, that is incorrect, it's more of I hate myself. Entry 29. I met a man who called himself "Midnight The Merciless." He gave off an aura of being a killer, and mentioned he was. I don't like the feel of this guy, but at the same time he seems quite interesting. He told me to by Cross. For reasons unknown, I decided to. I must say, it's a rather refreshing change to at least same I'm someone else. I'm no longer Carter, a boy looking for his way. I'm Cross, a man who seeks adventure. Entry 36. I lost my leg recently. I had been in a fight, and during the fight I had lost it. Such a shame, really. It's sorta shattered my dreams. How can I explore and be the adventurer I want to be, if I have to hobble using ******* crutches! Alas, the Orc suffered more. I killed that fool when he was carrying me away by suffication. I can confidently say he deserved this, and I will never lose sleep over this man, only the loss of my leg. It makes me feel terrible to even look at the stump, or think about it. Entry 50. I met a couple of Kha who were being attacked and I decided to help. Even if I WAS weak, no way would I just let them be bullied around. I fought the men, beating one done with crutches. The Kha meanwhile attacked the armored men. I was later apprehend- *This section is unreadable, covered in blood. As well as some of this area is coated in blood, blocking out a bit of what he was saying, and picking up randomly again later on in the page.-left to die in a corner. One of the Kha saved my life, dragging me away from them and bandaging my lift threatening injuries. I owe my life, regardless of how screwed it is, to him. Entry 52. I only recently recovered from the attack, still bandaged up in one area even. Today I had seen a flying creature atop the roofs of Abresi. I climbed up, to see who it was. Only when I got there, it turned out to be a watcher for a group of sorts. I talked to it, and showed me a band of sorts, explaining itself along with the Cult. I stared at the ring, metallic and cold. I took it, the offers he made of knowledge, along with the ideas of magic too interesting to decline. But even though this is exciting, I'm a bit apprehensive. What will I do within this group of people? Entry 53. I feel rouge pains where my leg was, occasionally. As I look at this, I often feel worse and worse. It just reminds me of what little I can now do. Although if I try hard, I may be able to escape, I feel like I'm slowly sinking due to this disability. Maybe I'm not the adventurer I thought I could be. I write this now wondering if I already reached my limits, and how much farther can I push if I haven't? They say monks bring you back, but I have a feeling deep down that no matter what, I will always remain in this state. It is a bit troublesome to think about. I see nothing but dark clouds in the future. Entry 57. I was given a temporary fix to the leg problem, a metal leg. A smith made it for me, no charge, no complaints. I'm unsure how it'll work for me in the future, but is rather strong, and is a lot better than my old leg, beside the constant pains. Things are looking up, maybe that was meant to happen, so I could become stronger through it. Look out world, I'm back and ready for more. Artwork
