Out-Of-Character Information
Please fill out the following questions as accurately as possible, and ensure the essential details are accurate.
Minecraft Account Name: Solsane
How old are you?: 15
Time-Zone: Eastern Standard Time
Have you read, understood and agreed to the rules?: Yes
What previous experience have you had in role-playing?: I've participated in a signifigant amount of Garry's Mod RP, been introduced to D&D, and I have learned to immerse myself into a narrative via books.
How did you hear about the the Lord of the Craft?: I was originally introduced by a group of players in Buxville, they were chatting about this server and I managed to get lordofthecraft.net from them. I quickly became intrigued by the roleplaying aspects and lore of this server. (I read the wiki for the rest of the night)
Link any applications that you have previously made for the server: http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/64730-solsanes-second-application-submission/ My first application must have been taken down as it is not under my content. I have a backup of it on my computer if you need it however.
Have you posted this application on the Minecraft Forum? If not, then please do so (link above):Yes, http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/832121-the-lord-of-the-craft-enter-the-world-of-anthos-officially-t-h-e-1-roleplay-server/page__st__3020__gopid__22392489#entry22392489
Have you read the Human lore, and shall you ensure you make use of it and follow it in your biography?: I have, and I will use it in my bio.
Definitions
In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:
Role-playing: Role playing is immersing yourself into a role, and believing that you are this character. If I were to roleplay a cactus, I'd do my best to be a spiky plant that knows nothing of the world. Unless I was an intelligent cactus, of course.
Meta-gaming: Metagaming is using information from outside of your character in order to gain an advantage. For example, your character does not know how to use an anvil. So you go to the Minecraft Wiki, and use the anvil. If you had been playing your role, your character would have to learn this through a blacksmith in game.
Power-emoting: Power emoting is when you're emoting, and someone does an emote without giving you fair chance to react or give input. For example: *Cartman turns Kyle into a chicken. This is power gaming since Kyle never got any say in that. Correct emote: *Cartman attempts to turn Kyle into a chicken.

Full Name: Adony Marx
Current Age:22
Sub-race (if any):Southeron
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
I spent my time growing up in the village of Feldkirch, below the castle of Schattenburg. This was a sea-side town, a quaint town that grew wheat and was by the sea. All the houses were made out of dark wood, ours included. My family lived in a relatively large (in comparison to the small village) home by the sea, where I loved to read. Before I could read I was already being read the Ancient Histories by my mother. Our village never had a library, but my mother always insisted that my father brings us new books every time he came home from work. It's a good thing too, because some quiet days our hands would blister beyond recognition harvesting wheat to help our neighbors.
We owned the one ship there - it transported the wheat the village grew to ports across Anthos. One of the men in the village piloted the boat until I was ready at age 10. I even wrote cute Captain's Logs with my reading and writing skills He was around 50; too old for heavy farm work but not too old for this. An old sea veteran, I wouldn't have wanted to learn from anyone else but from my father. My father was a captain in the Imperial Oren Navy, which meant his work was never close to home. In fact, he manned a ship that sailed from Elysium to Anthos following the fall of Asulon to the undead. He met my mother working on that ship. I didn't ever see much of him in my younger years, it wasn't until I became some fifteen or sixteen years of age.
When I began seeing him, he would take me on one of his naval excursions. He was captain of the S.S Godfrey. His ship did cargo work, although it was fully equipped if it were needed for war. I became proficient in using cannons, from loading to making my own. I learned tactics like boarding, and I learned how to survive at sea. Not only did I learn how to fight with ships, I also had an affinity with the sword. I quickly became more talented in sparring matches with my dads crew, and earned respect among them.
At this point in my life, I was an avid reader. I had read everything from crafting guides to what was left of The Servant's Conflicts. While I read many books about practical uses such as crafting, they really only gave me an idea where to begin. Under the lofty sea breeze I dozed off to dreams of a trove of knowledge, supposedly lost by the dragon Xandraza ((this lore is not currently in the wiki, however it was previously)). I often find myself yearning to go on an adventure to find the old Cloud Temple library, to see if it's as magnificent as I imagined; if it is exactly as it was when we left it. I wonder if the Druid Order still maintained the fabled Grand Library in Aegis.
I awoke amid a storm under the deck of my father's ship, where he gave me and my book a dirty look. "One of my men went overboard. In the meantime, you sit here loafing around with one of your pointless books." He left without another word. Under a weight of guilt, I helped the crew on our journey home. My father forgived me, but he did not bring me with him on his journeys anymore. I decided to join the guard of the local castle, a token force that was rarely active. Despite the incident on the ship, I continued my reading of books. I was reading the floor plan for the castle, and I discovered a number of secret passages. Naturally, I took advantage of my discovery and hid away in one to read. I had been hiding away in these passages quite often now, however this was little concern in such a little place.
One day, I awoke to the warm dribble of blood on my face from the grate above. The guard was dead. I panicked, running down the dim passage until I reached a trap door leading to a ridge overlooking the village. The night sky was tinted red from the fiery smoke rising from the homes and fields. Next, I saw the mass of bandits swarming with torches on horses, their torches leaving trails everywhere they went. Chaos and fear had enveloped our village. I only took a moment before I sprinted to our home. Many pirate ships were docked on our dock, and did not set our home on fire. I'm sure some saw me, but they were too busy terrorizing and plundering to make much notice of me.
I ran into our home to find my mother curled in a corner, our home already looted. I took her up. At first, she did not react. when she saw my face however, she began trembling all over and grasped me. There was no time to say that I had seen the S.S. Godfrey in our port. I couldn't think of what that meant now. I brought us into the boat. There was a lone bandit pilfering through the boat. He saw me, and picked up his sword. He jumped forward to slice me, but in a burst of rage I kicked him in the chest, knocking him down. I stabbed him in a downward thrust, and immediately set sail. My mother asked quivering "What about your father? Isn't he due to come home soon?" I replied "He'll be okay, we can't wait for him." However, it had quickly became clear in my mind that the same bandits had reached my father and his crew before they reached our village. "Get some sleep, mother." Somehow, she managed to sleep. By morning, we had reached the Anthos Highway. We split ways, her going to Abresi to learn the fate of her husband, while I searched for a new beginning.

____
1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer: When the man approaches the Emperor's palace, I shout to the guards saying "Are you going to let this man disrespect the emperor's palace this way? Ask this man to remove his hood and show his identity." The guards would see him, and would feel compelled to do something. Approaching the suspicious man, the guards would inquire as to why he was wearing this at the emperor's palace. Assuming he is up to no good, he likely couldn't come up with a satisfactory answer. Either this, or it's a Mori'Quessir and they don't like the sun. If they are a Mori'Quessir, then the guards would probably arrest him since they're racist. If the suspicious person doesn't have a good excuse, the guards would probably ask him to remove some clothing/show identity. A number of things could happen. The suspicious person may say, "Imperial filth! Down with the Empire!" He would draw daggers from beneath his cloak, ultimately becoming overpowered by the two guards. If the suspicious person complied, he would say, "Very well. I shall reveal my identity." He removes his hood. The guards recognise him as an anti-empire radical, and bar his entry. Additionally, they could have inspected him further and discover a hidden blade. The guards would again bar his entrance, to the annoyance of the suspicious man. If he had no weapons either, and proved clean, the guards would let him past grudgingly. I, however, would continue to follow him. He might try to lose me in the crowds, but I'd do my best to follow him. If he were to be doing anything out of the ordinary, I would confront him myself. "I don't know what you're up to, but I will not allow you to enter this restricted area without a fight." He lifts his hood. I kneel to his highness.
2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?
Answer: The bandits are distracted, facing away from where I stood. I advance to the outskirt of his clearing, and make eye contact with the old man. He smacks his feet together, a local signal meaning danger. I realize that I am ill-prepared to take on two heavily armed bandits, so I take a moment and think. In the moment I took to think, I noticed there was a pack of wolves nearby. They were about to pounce on a lone sheep. I pull out some wheat, and the sheep smelled the wheat and went into the open. The wolves took the moment to attack, moving toward the bandits. The bandits are bewildered, although it would not take them long to realize the wolves were not attacking them. I threw a rock at one of them, who turned around and struck one of the wolves. The bandit was pushed to the ground, although surviving thanks to his heavy armor. The other bandit is scrambling to save his partner from the onslaught of teeth and claws. I charge forth, and me and the old man together quickly dispatch the bandits. The old man is shaken, and thanks me for what I did. "Thank you, those fools of bandits originally thought I was an informant of theirs. When I said I didn't know anything, threatened to kill me. Eventually the smarter of the two concluded that I wasn't the person they were looking for, and instead to rob me blind. Take some Minas."
3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).
Answer: I was never too good at haggling and the like, but I was feeling good this day and I decided to give it a shot. I browsed his wares. He had everything from the most delicious food to swords encrusted with gems. However, none of this seemed to appeal to me. I asked him, "Do you have some behind-the-counter deals, perhaps?" The store owner leaned over the counter. "If you're looking for illegal goods, start looking somewhere else." I was taken back by his outright statement. I responded "I didn't mean it like that, I simply was wondering if you have any more wares and/or if I could get any special deals on them." The salesman returned to his previous state, as if he hadn't even said what he did a moment ago. "Wonderful! I am indeed selling some special items, only for the inquisitive like yourself! He goes behind the counter, beckoning me into his room for special customers. He lays before me an assortment of unordinary books. So unordinary in fact, they were glowing! He looked at them adoringly, then looked at me with a bit more serious of an expression. "You won't be mentioning our trades to the Mages Guild, will you? They would likely be displeased to know I have these. No harm in these books, it's just they simply like keeping their secrets to themselves. These books are not only a good read, but with the knowledge passed from a great enchanter you can apply the power of this book unto something of your choice. Your armor, weapons, or *sniff* fishing rods will not break, or not in your lifetime. 400 minas for them all, 100 a piece." I had never imagined I would want one of his products this badly. I felt for my coinpouch, and I only had 388 minas. However, I came to test my haggling abilities. "300 Minas for them all, and I leave you a richer man." He is offended by such a ridiculous offer. "300? These are my crown gems, when I said 400 I was already cutting a special deal. To ask for any less would be ludicrous." I retorted, "330 here and now, or no money and I report you for having these items." He almost tears as he parts with his most prized possesions.
