A lone figure traversed the path to Krugmar. A worn cloak hung down his form, protecting him in some degree from the elements. The cloak itself was aged, older than any living human. Formerly a verdant forest green color, now faded from years within the sun. The edges were frayed, stained, and burned from an assortment of encounters even the dark elf could no longer recall. His gray flesh, toned and fit, was adorned with dozens of scars from centuries of conflict. Tattoo's decorated him upon his left bicep, right pectoral, and upper back. A ferocious and jagged battleaxe hung at his side, within reach at a moment's notice. Without a care in the world, the 'ker strode into Krugmar, gripping both a letter and response. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Tbh Anyway, if Blah is considered off putting when it's a language of primarily misspoken words with a few things tossed in like: Skah Klomp Flat Etc. . . You really shouldn't be playing the race. The reason all characters feel like the same is because there is no standard set to differentiate races from one another on a cultural level. All Orcs are big and strong, all elves are big and strong, all humans are big and strong. They all speak common. Blah is a great way to separate the race from others, by giving them a unique language/dialect that is easy to learn and utilize. It isn't difficult. LotC Elven is stupid. LotC Blah is easy. If you have any semblance of common sense, context clues teach you the language. If you don't, asking players should help. It's unfortunate for the most part because those same players you'd ask, as mentioned above, are troll/memery bullshit that don't add anything to this server. Orcs are more savage and tribal than other races. The other races should see them as moronic, but when you get to the base of it from an OOC perspective, you can't call them such because their culture is defined in a unique way that separates them from other races, if you know, it was done as anything more than a meme or a way to yeet leadership from one another to attack the Dominion.

Vampire lore on LotC is no good, I think. Your lore isn't terrible, but I feel adding anything to the server's lore in it's current state is no good. Lore itself isn't cohesive or enjoyable, things are just added so a group of players or a person can get their new shiny item or toy. It all just gets filed away and barely used or overused, there is never a happy medium for the server's overall health, I think. Current Striga lore is an example of underused lore, kept within a small group of people. I'm not saying they need to run around making people Striga, but it be interesting if my only Striga interaction I've ever had wasn't a dude cybering in a cabin in the woods. Would be neat to fight one, RP with one, literally anything other than knowing they exist and have for awhile. Then you have **** like magic which is, for the most part, handed out to anyone who can at least complete a sentence. Never a happy medium, adding more lore for something that already exists, even if it's under performing, doesn't solve the issue. Maybe look to work with the Striga writers to make add ons or get involved with their lore. It's Joel and co., so that probably won't work, but who knows?
