  2. The effects of what a fairy ring does has been RP’d and done since the original lore was made. This is more of a clarification of what is occurring. For one, and something that needs to be clear here, is that *any* non-druid that steps into the fairy ring will experience a sudden massive hit to the senses of feeling, seeing, and hear all nature around them. It’s a very disorienting effect to where regardless if you are a necro, void mage, even a normal person, you wouldn’t be able to focus much at all, let alone begin to try and concentrate enough to cast anything. It’s meant to show a non-druid how a tier 5 druid constantly deals with in a sense given the attunement over time heightens your sixth sense (in a way) to the natural world around you. As for dark users or creatures, such as a lich, darkstalker, etc etc, they may not feel that effect, but they would be extremely uncomfortable within the fairy ring to where it’s better to get out given what they literally are is against the natural balance of nature itself. As a void mage user, if you attempt to try to cast voidal magic, the effect of nature would be heard more violently (and no, this isn’t a cultural thing), voidal magic is harmful to the natural world given it doesn’t belong here. The blessing of the Aspects weakens if a druid tries to learn voidal magic, it’s something these Aenguls do not like and it would be met unkindly. In my opinion on it, I would change the rule from a voidal mage being thrown in(or accidentally steps in) the ring and it affecting them insanely to instead if they try to cast voidal magic (for some reason if they are even able too) that the voices would react more violently, intensifying the effect.

As well, keep in mind here. These Fairy Rings aren’t meant to trap dark beings, voidal mages, or anyone. They are meant for meditation areas and to experience the blessing one will receive without actually receiving it. A sacred area for druids to connect with nature. No druid can make them, they are naturally occurring areas that happen within nature. I for one, kept tabs on how many there were within the world as a former LM. Roughly 3-4 if I remember correctly and if one was destroyed, I would be aware of where another would spawn. It kept the rings down from being MCly made where-ever and made sure a ring wasn’t being abused and used for not it’s intended purpose.

((PS: The first original Redline actually wasn’t targeting a player at all. If you look at the original lore, that is the original red line from it long ago. But I do agree it's unnecessary now given the server rule changes.))

I remember the long arguments and discussions I had with you upon the the combination of Blood and Druidism when we were LMs together and how it couldn't mix before with the methods you were trying to do with it, regardless if it was a really neat theory to have. This right here however I will congratulate you on. You finally found a way for it to work.

What magic(s) do you desire to teach?: Deity Magic: Mists of Xan

Summarize the Lore of this Magic: The Mists of Xan are a blessing given from Xan, the Aengul of Order and Guardianship, to those that have proven to follow his service and teachings in order to be be protectors of the mortal realm. These holy crusaders, more commonly known as paladins, are renowned for their use of golden mists light to summon armor, weaponry, and the like to fight back and destroy all forms of dragonkin and even darker beings that threaten the descendants. The color of the mists ranges from silver, platinum, emerald, or gold with sapphire only being seen as a direct control from Aengul himself.

There are currently two specializations paladins can take, Vindicators or Wyrmstalkers.

Vindicators, being more melee combat fighters, have several unique abilities that differ from their Wyrmstalker brethren. One of these abilities is creating either a golden suit of armor or semi-transparent sphere of holy light that is a short range away from themselves. The further away it is from the paladin, the weaker the shield becomes, as well, no one is able to enter or leave the shield while it’s casted. Repeated strikes against the shield will eventually cause it to shatter, creating a minor knockback towards the attacker. Another ability able to be performed is imbuing any normal weaponry with a deific affinity. A rather easilier feat to do with the paladin placing an enchantment on said weapon(s) they wield, keeping a constant flow of holy energy to it, providing more effective means against the like of unholy users or most effectively against the likes of dragonkin.

Wyrmstalkers, being more the range fighters than their Vindicator brethren, relies more on range weaponry such as a bow, longbow, or shortbow. Their abilities are honed around these weapons, creating a viable means of shooting down dragonkin and the like from the skies. One such ability is the creation of a holy arrow of starlight that forms when pulling the string back of a bow. To an average person, it is similar to a regular arrow. To unholy/dragonkin, the strike is far more damaging as well as immediately dispersing on hit, leaving a gaping hole where it struck. Another ability used is compacting down the mists into the form of a bolt of sorts, a very volatile projectile that when thrown, is able to pierce through the tough scales of any dragon and the like.

Healing now differs from when it was before. Capable of being used by both Vindicators and Wyrmstalkers, healing is more effective on the paladins themselves than others. That being said, the mists can still be used to heal over a wound, leaving behind a deep scar and in more advanced instances, capable of mending bone yet very exhausting to the paladins. Major wounds cannot be healed nor is a paladin capable of bringing back one from the dead.

Write up a lesson that your character would give to a student. (Do note, we will be contacting aspiring teachers for a quick interview, to try to better gauge your knowledge and understanding):

“Come with me.” The white haired elfess would murmur towards her student, gesturing to follow towards the sparring area within the Holy Order Keep. “Today I am going to teach you how to form a holy shield of sorts that can block foes as well as protect yourself and those directly around you.” She continues to speak, placing her right armored boot down upon the soft grains of sand to step within the sparring ring. The student nods to her, stepping down as well to then halt and stand within the center next to her. “Now, think of it similar to summoning a golden suit of armor except instead, you project it around you.” She would speak, the elfess’s left gauntlet lifting to extend outwards in front of her with her armored digits spreading apart a tad. “Feel it from deep within. His warmth, his light, let it flow through you and unleash it.” With that, particles of golden mists begin to form around her digits, swirling about in a shimmering glow before extending outwards. The particles of holy light stretch and encircle around her and the student, creating a semi-transparent of a golden hue. “Now, within here, we cannot leave nor can anyone enter. This shield is strong, but can only handle so much before it shatters.” The elfess would speak, her eyes narrowing as she twitches her digits. Several cracks begin to emerge, coursing along the transparent shield of light before it suddenly disperses outward with an illuminating glow of golden hue. The elfess exhales deeply before turning towards her student. “Alright, your turn. Do the movements exactly how I did and focus.” The student nods to her before stepping forward and getting into position. Sluggishly lifting their right gauntlet, the student exhales deeply before beginning to focus. Their armored digits twitch, spreading apart a tad as the mists begins to form and swirl about. “Good...feel it deep within, project it out.” The elfess states. The student giving a faint nod before furrowing their brows. The mists begins to expand sluggishly outward, moving to encircle them before suddenly cracks begin to course across the shield. The student’s digits begin to tremble as beads of sweat dribble down their cheek. “Focus…” she growls, her lips curving down some as she moves to fold her arms in front of her, watching. The student breathes deeply, furrowing their brows even more. The shield maintaining it’s hold for several moments more before it suddenly disperses outward in particles of holy light. Collapsing to the ground, the student pants heavily as the white haired elfess gives a slight nod. “Good, good..rest for now. Then we shall try again.”

What magic(s) do you desire to teach?: Deity Magic: Mists of Xan

Summarize the Lore of this Magic: (The newer approved lore isn’t implemented yet) The Mists of Xan are a blessing given from Xan, the Aengul of Order and Guardianship, to those that have proven to follow his service and teachings in order to be be protectors of the mortal realms. Most notably known as Paladins. The mists, which the color can be silver, platinum, emerald, or gold(sapphire only being seen as a direct control from Aengul himself), can be used in three different and various ways.

The first we will start off with is Healing. This being the hardest and most exhausting to learn and do, the mists are summon then placed directly over the wound to attempt to mend it. The amount healed depends on the paladin’s experience, ranging from healing a minor flesh wound to able to mend a fractured bone. However, the mists cannot re-attach limbs or bring someone back from the dead. The healing as well not being as powerful as cleric magic either, thus more often than not, leaving scars where the wound was mended.

The second would be Manipulation. This is done by summoning the mists to form objects. The most common is weapons or armor yet smaller objects, such as marbles for example, are able to be summoned as well. A more advanced form of this are summoning limbs of light yet that comes at a cost depending on what limb is being summoned. Another way of using manipulation is using it to purge taint from a being, able to cause intense pain, but not enough to kill.

The third would be Holy Alteration. This is a more rare ability that only those most capable know how to perform. The mists are able to be infused into objects or weapons, giving the items a holy enchant. More extreme uses of the mist is creating a display of holy fire with their conjured weapons though this is very exhausting and only stays for a limited amount of time.

Write up a lesson that your character would give to a student. (Do note, we will be contacting aspiring teachers for a quick interview, to try to better gauge your knowledge and understanding):

Standing upon the grass area near the farms far below the Holy Order Keep, the white haired elfess gestured towards her student to stand before her. “Alright, today you will be learning how to manipulate the mists to form objects of light. This ability is mainly used to form weapons or armor, though more powerful paladins have been able to use it in other ways, such as creating limbs of holy light. But, I’m getting ahead of myself.” She would pausing, chuckling some. “Anywho, the way to begin is to hold out your hand. Stare down at your palm and think of the object within your mind. Like for example, a very small marble.” She would say, her left gauntlet lifting as she spoke to hold out her palm in front of her student while her eyes shift downward towards it. “Feel his fatherly embrace. The light that warms you from within. Believe in it, let it fill you, then let it flow.” As she finished, particles of golden mist would begin to form within her palm. It swirls about before condensing down into a small, glowing marble of light. The student stares wide eyed, nodding several times to her before lifting their hand up before her to begin to try. “Now you may not get it on your first time, and that's okay. Just concentrate and try, little cub.” She would murmur, allowing the golden marble to disperse within her palm before lowering it back down to her side. The student nods then focuses, furrowing their brows as they for several long minutes try to summon the mists. “Focus! Picture it within your mind. Feel his pride and courage swell within you. His guiding hand upon your shoulder.” the paladin would state. The student’s hand begins to tremble with a bead of sweat starting to form then dribbling down their cheek as they continue. “Hear the lion’s roar, little cub! Unleash it!” The elfess would snap firmly at her student. The student’s brow furrowing more as faint, shimmering particles of golden mist flicker within the palm of the their hand, beginning to take a spherical shape before dispersing. The student exhales deeply before slumping down to sit on the grass, panting heavily from exhaustion. The paladin’s lips would curve up into a wide smile before stepping up towards the student with her left gauntlet extending outwards to pat their shoulder. “Well done. I want you to practice creating small marbles within your palm then we will move on to creating small weapons, such as daggers.” The student would give a weak smile in return, nodding a few times before lying down to rest.

  7. ~*~Denied~*~

This application is unfortunately denied. Several issues are seen conflicting with the lore. It is suggested to read the lore upon it and get an understanding of these creatures before applying again. You may reapply after 24 hours.
