Yea, getting banned for that is ridiculous. You didn't personally insult anyone, and you made a pretty accurate comment IMO due to some of the staff members being grossly incompetent and incapable.

@dogbew I coulda sworn we had a chat about this not two weeks ago and we agreed that comments like this shouldn't be hidden, much less banned for.

There were no punishments or bans handed out, this tantrum is over Chons post simply being hidden, and rightfully so. It should be noted however because this is a common mistakes that people make; posts like this aren't hidden because they hurt someone's feeling. As fun as it might seem to picture the GM team come running to me in tears over a slight on the forums, that's not something that ever has or likely ever will happen.

Posts like his are removed because toxic comments like that degrade our discussion and serve no purpose other than to divide our community. If Chon had managed to provide something useful to the discussion, in a way that is non toxic and doesn't degrade others, his "feedback" would remain.

I think referring to his comment as toxic is extreme. Sure it might not be a page long detailed forum post with bullet points, but that shouldn't render it's meaning null. He's clearly annoyed with how the GM/Admin Team is being run and felt a need to express it in a simpler way. No harm in doing something like that, and it shouldn't be frowned upon to express how one feels about the group that is managing the server, as long as it isn't direct insults.

With that said, making this much of a fuss over a hidden status update is a bit immature and childish IMO. Also, I was told he was banned, my bad and cheers for clearing that up.
