A slight measure curious, the lad resolves to see for himself whatever it is that lies in the spiral's heart. He saunters into the spiral path, walking at a leisurely pace. The lad stops as he reaches the center, just paces away from the cloaked individual seated by an unfinished work. Observing quietly, the young man remains on the spot, looking on as the cloaked figure turns to face him. In response to the question that he is soon asked by the artist, the lad reaches into his satchel, pulling out a square slip of clean parchment. He lays the slip flat across his palm, writing out his reply. Held between the young man's fingers, the slip is extended towards the artist. "Yes."
