*Contru sits down and begins to write his letter "Carrots do nothing, milk makes me even more sick. The plague isn't out enemy, however. This is when 'they' will strike. What is roleplaying?: - Role Playing is stepping into a custom character's shoes and controlling him/her. What’s metagaming?: - metagaming is the use of information that your IC wouldnt know without your real life knowledge. Ex. Jeff is sneaking up behind Dave, and since Dave's player knows this, he counters, yet Dave had no way of knowing about Jeff. What’s powergaming?: - Powergaming is making your character do actions that other players cant counter thus making your character overpowered. Ex. Jeff swings at Dave's head, Dave dodges and stabs Jeff, killing him instantly. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that you follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. What’s your character called?: - Halidus Nesaak What race are they? (and sub-race if applicable): - Human Northerner What gender are they?: - Male How old are they?: - 23 Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns or major server events ect.): - Halidus was born and raised in Abresi. His father's name was Valdin Troms. His mother apparently died in childbirth, but Halidus could never seem to believe this was true. Valdin was a great swordsman and taught Halidus all his moves. He also told him all kinds of stories of orcs, like Sharku'Gorkil's war he waged on us humans, and how they had taken Kingston and made it into Gronkkston. He had always despised orcs and that hatred rubbed off on Halidus as well. Halidus had a daily routine to keep up. Go fishing for their food in the morning, come back and eat lunch, then practice combat all afternoon. Halidus was a great swordsman, and often got extra practice from veteran swordsman around Abresi while his father was out. Halidus kept this up or all his childhood. One morning Halidus awoke to his father being gone. He searched the house and waited all day for his return, but he never came. Halidus asked around town but nobody knew where he was. Halidus kept up his routines and searching for about a week when he began to lose hope. It was at that time when he heard a knock on his door. Excited, he ran to the door and opened it to see a hungry looking poor woman. He brought her inside and gave her the fish he had caught that morning. He sat down and aske her who she was, and in a rushed response she said, "Halidus, I am your mother!" Halidus definately didn't belive her at once, but the more she explained about why had happened, the more he belive her. His real name was Halidus Nesaak, not Troms. Valdin wasn't his real father. His real father had sent his mother away before Valdin came and killed him. Valdin posed as Halidus' father, and taught Halidus his skills for an unknown reason. Halidus was still in shock and denial, but after a week, he left to search for Valdin, an find out what he had wanted. His mother inherited the house, an Halidus has been searching ever since, easily fending for himself off of his sword skills. He helps settlements and cities in any way he can as he passes through them, looking for clues. He still is looking, and has been for years, though he fears that he will have to kill the man that raised him. He wants answers, and he will do what he must to get them. What are they like? (personality): - Halidus is quick thinking, and is very helpful to people he meets. He is strong and intelligent as well from years of Valdin's training. He has a good sense of humor an will not sit by and watch people hurt others. He is persistent with everything he does, an never gives up. He is nice and gives tips for swordplay to avid learners he meets on his travels. He enjoys gambling after learning about it in the Abresi tavern before he left on his journey. He does not particularly like the Orc race after they conquered Kingston and turned it into Gronkkston. What are their ambitions?: - Halidus' ambition is to find Valdin and find out what he wanted, even if it takes a lifetime. He also helps out cities and settlements he passes through on his search. Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list 3 of both): - His biggest skills are his sword, his intellect, and his strength. His weaknesses are that he refuses to kill or hurt people without good reason, he is slow, and he has low stamina. Give us a description of how they look?: - Halidus has black-brownish hair and wears black boots, a black jacket, a strap to hold things, and brown-black eyes. Also, tattered grey pants.
