LYRICS:
O’ Sweet Esmerelda,
With hair all lined with flowers,
I met you in the tavern,
And we talked for many hours.
How tender was her melody,
Her song could make a grown man weep,
When you had to go,
A part of my soul did die.
You said "don’t fear, boy, we’ll meet again,
I’ll buy you drinks and surely then
You’ll get to spy my smile all night,
And we’ll talk till the sun gives light."
But until then…
O’ Sweet Esmerelda,
With hair all lined with flowers,
I met you in the tavern,
And we talked for many hours.
Pleasing was her voice to me
A warmth is so enveloping
When you had to go,
A part of my soul did die.
I said "I’ll wait Till we meet again,
You’ll buy me drinks and surely then
I’ll get to spy your smile All night.
We’ll talk till the sun gives light."
But until then…
O’ Sweet Esmerelda,
O’ Sweet Esmerelda,
O’ Sweet Esmerelda,
We talked for many hours.
O’ Sweet Esmerelda,
O’ Sweet Esmerelda,
O’ Sweet Esmerelda,
I’ll wait in the tavern for you.

HOUSE von THEONUS
Founder
Dietrich von TheonusCulture and History
The House of Theonus was founded by Dietrich von Theonus in 1796, originating from Waldenian refugees from Haense. Coalescing around the young Dietrich, the family’s early history is intertwined with that of the Icathian Company. During the reigns of King Halvar and Sven II of Norland, many Theonus in the employ of the Icathian Company found themselves serving as royal guards before finding employment elsewhere across Almaris. Under the banner of the Icathian Company, they found themselves in a number of realms, including the Jade State of Yong Ping, acting as soldiers in her employ in defense from the Mettinian Company in Talon’s Port. Over time, the House has found itself in different countries, picking up different traditions from each place.

HOUSE ADILER
Founder
Orion Adiler
Culture and HistoryThe Adilers honor the belief and culture of the stars of Andria; a star has been placed on the family’s banner and uniforms, along with hosting an event of thanksgiving every ten years to show their devotion to this belief.
The family upholds physical traits that represent them, such as their clothing, which is an arrangement of flowing white, gold, and red silks, along with jewelry, such as delicate chains around the body, earrings, bracelets, and rings.
Once an Adiler comes of age, they receive a tattoo of the family’s crest and a custom dagger crafted by the head of the house.

The Wanderer looked up to the Mountain upon which he continued his steadfast Prayer. His journey was halted however, by a man shouting at the corner for the latest article. In interest, he took to it... and by the words he saw the Surrending of an Uprising and the Fall of Canondom. He wept for the world, yet the world did not care for his pained tears. He had long since rejected the foundations of the Church as corrupted, though perhaps, the hearts of men could no longer be redeemed. The Wanderer left the article behind and retreated back up onto the mountain, more determined in his prayer more than anything.

COVENANT BANNERS
See the banners raise to fly, so high, so high
See the banners raise to fly, so high, so high
See the banners raise so high, they blacken and blot out the sky,
The banners raised to fly, fly.The army marching out the gates, to war, to war,
The army marching out the gates, to war, to war,
The armies marching off to war, their songs like a ferocious roar,
The armies off to war, war.All the warriors take the field, prepared, prepared.
All the warriors take the field, prepared, prepared.
All the warriors stand prepared, taking in the dense, stale air,
The Warriors stand prepared, prepared.Soldiers sprinting in the charge, with zeal, with zeal,
Soldiers sprinting in the charge, with zeal, with zeal,
The Soldiers near the enemies’ steel, hero or coward it shall reveal,
The Soldiers meet their steel, steel. The metals scrap as weapons meet, a mighty clash.
The metals scrap as weapons meet, a mighty clash
They stand their ground, holding fast; the dirt is mixed with blood and ash,
Swords maintain their clash, clash.Yet we see the banner raised to fly so high.
We see our banner raised to fly so high.
We see our banner raised to fly, despite the many men that died,
We hold our banners high.---
SpoilerWE'RE MARCHING
Armored warriors marchin' all through the silent night
For not Glory nor for honor is the reason they will fight
Rather duty to protect their people is why they show their might.
To protect their way of life.Glory, glory, what a noble way to die,
Glory, glory, what a noble way to die,
Glory, glory, what a noble way to die,
They shall not falter now!Mighty steeds on which they ride hold firmly to the line,
Men girded in their slick armor, with courage as their guide
The sun will rise upon the field to mark the coming tide
They make their people proud.Glory, glory, what a noble way to die,
Glory, glory, what a noble way to die,
Glory, glory, what a noble way to die,
They shall not falter now! They march with courage and with faith, no matter what shall be.
God's will be done in power, his promise is victory.
No evil force shall stand against, ever eternally.
Their fight stands with the Lord.Glory, glory, what a noble way to die,
Glory, glory, what a noble way to die,
Glory, glory, what a noble way to die,
They shall not falter now!The clash of steel, the roar of drums, they fight with all their soul,
While soldiers fall and men they die, no death can change their goal,
And even though the heavy loss has now taken its toll,
Never shall they quit!Glory, glory, what a noble way to die,
Glory, glory, what a noble way to die,
Glory, glory, what a noble way to die,
They shall not falter now!
They shall not falter now!
They shall not falter now!---

SpoilerWERE A LONG WAY FROM LADY PETRA
Down from mighty Vallagne.
Came the Petran Knights one day.
With their Steeds and armored plate.
Formitable, they say.
Singing songs of beaten Stassiesfoes and Dusco’s fall,
Till Conrad got excited,
From his mouth irrupts a song. We’re a long way from Lady Petra,
And we’ve long way to go.
We’re a long way from Lady Petra
To the sweetest home I know!
Goodbye, O’ my Lovely,
We’ll keep you safe from here!
We’re a long way from Lady Petra,
My heart's still with her.As we marched with banners
And sang with all our might ,
We could see Veletz before us,
They Tremble at the sight.
With our drums and trumpeters,
Its stirred quite a fright.
We Remember all the reasons,
That we’ve come to fight! We’re a long way from Lady Petra,
And we’ve long way to go.
We’re a long way from Lady Petra
To the sweetest home I know!
Goodbye, O’ my Lovely,
We’ll keep you safe from here!
We’re a long way from Lady Petra,
My heart's still with her.For my Country and my Queen
I would choose to die.
And in the Seven Skies
I’ll raise my banner just as high
But until my sword won’t swing.
I promise you, my dear!
With my blood, my sweat, my tears,
I’ll be your cavalier!
We’re a long way from Lady Petra,
And we’ve long way to go.
We’re a long way from Lady Petra
To the sweetest home I know!
Goodbye, O’ my Lovely,
We’ll keep you safe from here!
We’re a long way from Lady Petra,
My heart's still with her---

"We are those who look eastward."
When at last the talking ceased,
When red sun over horizon peeked,
Then at last with sweat’d brows,
This peace duely endowed.
Signed behind old blood,
Holy light to judge.
Quills with blackest ink,
Recoiling from the brink.
Fire’s ire burns,
Driven by the spurned,
Yet hope was had today.
Prices finally payed.
Hark, Peace’s aid,
No longer men dismayed.
Dawn appears renewed.
Hostility at last subdued.
Send forth heads to rest,
Return to home and bed,
For Aevos has it’s peace,
Man is finally freed.

“We are those who look Eastward.”
Your Pride stands before your Pain,
Sons and Daughters lost to hurt and shame.
So how long before you choose to yield?
Before you set down your foolish ideals?
Instead you took to that place of battle,
You come to be slaughtered like cattle.
You got trapped by our claws,
You got bit by our fierce maw.
You fell to our swords and spears,
Men fell because of hesitation and fear.
The forest around us washed red,
Spilled blood of the dying and the dead.
You should have chosen peace,
Now we have kicked you to your knees.
Why do you still refuse to yield?
When you are dominated on the field.

SpoilerDecided to keep this one short - Very similar to the battle. Good Job on both sides.

Sebastien tapped his sword against the training block. He was getting too old to fight, now… so he simply just surveyed. “Drusco falls once more…” The While Sun looked out across the landscape. Whilst he believed this battle should have happened, he could not help but feel a small pit of despair dwell within him. “Savoyards are fighting Savoyards…”

“We are those who look Eastward.”
You have drank the Salt Water,
Now you only thirst for more.
You are never to be satisfied,
Yet are met with closed doors.
Our armies blanketed the cliffside,
Cannons lined up by the Blackstone.
We have all come to march,
Upon that land named, Drusco.
You may annoy us with raids,
Climb our walls and attack,
But you shall lose this here,
You lack the proper tact.
Surely Sir Gaspard is quaking,
As his vassals fall like dominoes.
They have not the will to act,
Freeze up like frightened does.
When the horn’s blare resounded,
Shook the morning mountain dew.
Drums echoed off canyon walls,
Finality, closer, drew.
Smoke did fog up the air,
And Iron whistled all around.
The stones of the keep’s ramparts,
Broke and plummeted to the ground.
This destruction all around you,
A reward for pride and desire.
Our forces charged downward,
Then across the valley’s river.
Then when at last we banked,
We faced a vertical endeavor.
We surged up the mountainside,
Deflecting horsemen and archers.
They fell down that steep hill,
They should have stayed within their cloisters.
Now they have surely fallen ill,
And it is us that it bolstered.
So we breached the gaps,
Bullying the enemy in their own walls.
We surged throughout the castle,
Through the rooms and the halls.
We rooted out you Duscans,
Ex-Stassies, Orcs, and Veletzers.
We gutted the ruined structure,
Of the demons and monsters.
The day had risen on Drusco,
And set on its rubble.
To our Righteous Indignation
You still have no rebuttal.

Borris Iver Kortrevich, the Poet of Jerovitz, smiled as he looked down from where he sat. He couldn't help but answer the man speaking to him. "I will watch with pride from above now, and on that day you will surely be named Valtakossar - It is his turn, a Kortrevich who has allowed the talents of his poetry to spread past the House and past Haense. It is my turn to watch these Historical moments unfold." @Phersades

Sebastien Ashford de Savoie clapped for the reclaiming of the titles they had gotten by absolutely demolishing the nation of Stassion. Sebastien, only son of the last Grand Prince of Savoy, Count of San Luciano, Peremont and Sarissa, and Baron of Brynnrose, propped his feet upon the table. He glanced to his son and grandson with a bright smile. "I believe you made a right choice moving to where you did. I like that man a lot." @Harald@Mykei

Marius Lovetts wrapped his daughter and placed her in the crib beside of the bed. He was exhausted and there was so much work to continue doing. Yet, he could do so because he loved where he was and the people he was around. He would do so to build a future for his family. "From Travellers to this... How Godan has a sense of Irony, El." @Jtit

"I am glad we got that eyesore out of the world" Marius smiled brightly, wiping off the blood from his armor. He then kicked his feet up as he hummed a tune to his latest poem. "A good day indeed."

“They thought Anthills could stop us?”
You came to fight,
You came to die,
Came to the place,
You’ll forever lie.
You pleaded then,
Bent knees, bowed head,
For a keep to own,
Somewhere to call home.
It was a ruse,
You lit the fuse.
Daggers glisten black,
Aimed at your friend’s back.
You struck with ease,
Became diseased.
Gave up your honor,
To look a little taller.
Fate has called out,
“Down with the proud,”
The cannon’s boom, Spells
out your fitful doom.
Build your anthills
Won’t morph our will,
In that dirt you’ll drown,
And it fall back down.
You came to fight,
You came to die,
Came to the place,
You’ll forever lie.
Arrows did fly,
Across the sky,
You said goodbye and,
Were swept by the tides.
You have fumbled,
Hope now crumbled.
And the men fell low,
They were sent below.
Men on horses,
Reared their forces,
Galloped forth in stride,
In God they abide.
Once land of Petra,
Prideful pretender,
We watched your fall,
Breached castle walls.
League of Nations,
Devastation,
You cowards within,
You’ve paid for your sins.
You came to fight,
You came to die,
Came to the place,
You’ll forever lie.
