Although quite a broad term, I believe role playing to mean the avid portrayal of a character, in both actions and speech. This is the use of knowledge that is not yet available to your character, usually with the use of other character names and the mathematical nature of character statistics. What is power-emoting (power gaming)? Powergaming is when you force your actions on another player. This normally happens before they have a chance to react. - In-Character Information - Character’s name: Anawiel Aedorinh Character’s sex: Female Character’s race: High Elf Character’s age: 30 - Still considered a child to many elves. Biography: Anawiel Aedorinh, born in the current capital city of the high elves Taliyna'maehr, realised from a young age that she hailed from a strict family of arcane mages. Their strong sense of social conformity always seemed overbearing to the young independent girl, who deep down willed for a more adventurous life that catered more towards the importance of feeling rather than the logistics of every action. After attending the Haelun'or College, forcefully funded by her wealthy heritage, she finally realised that the life she had been leading was one not worth living. Scared to utter any form of this opinion to her family, who vitally believe that any deviation from the norm is a sign of weakness, she left the society in which she felt so isolated, in order to find one that accommodated her idyllic lifestyle. Throughout her travels through the mountainous outskirts of Taliyna'maehr, her raw sense of compassion and will to help others really began to shine as a major distinguishing feature between her and her kin. She soon became intrigued by ancient scrolls and drawings of druidic rituals, in which the gentle sway of the more natural magic personified herself more than the volatile and destructive force of the arcane. Her mind is now set, after years of being a nomad, she now seeks out a teacher. One who can show her the true beauty of Axios and the wonders of druidic magic. Personality Traits: Anawiel is very much a kind and compassionate soul, who is averse to sights of pain and anguish. She enjoys the company of animals just as much as people, as she likes to see the world as full of opportunity and good, rather than the black and white portrayal her parents decide to live. However, her inner calling of childish-rebellion is still a force that dictates her life, due to her somewhat troubled childhood. Ambitions: Anawiel aspires to become one with the forest and become a true druid. Throughout developing her connection with the trees and animals around her, she seeks to learn more about herself in the process. She also desires to make as much a positive impact as she can, at times much to her endangerment. Strengths/Talents: Anawiel is good at forming personal connections with not just the people around her, but also with the trees and fauna. She is caring and compassionate but if put to test, will do what she needs to do in order to persevere. If not for her sake, then for the sake of the people around her.
