What is metagaming?: Metagaming is like being asked "Do you think it's going to rain today?" and then looking up the weather to see what the chance of rain is before answering "I think there's an 80 percent chance of rain, followed by light showers tomorrow." like a smug mug. So to be simple about it, it is when people try to use OOC knowledge in character which is unfair because they didn't make an effort to gain that knowledge through roleplay. What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Powergaming is like when you're playing tag and someone tags you but you refuse to be it...don't be that guy. It is sorta when you ignore the limits of your character and refuse to acknowledge consequences. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Character’s name: Wallace Le'Martial Character’s sex: Male Character’s race: Farfolk Character’s age: 23 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.): Wallace Le'Martial was born in 1535, in Ard Ghorrock, where he lived was raised by his father Bastille Le'Martial. In 1549, Wallace was separated from his father, as a sandstorm storm left him astray when on a trade mission in the territory of Kal'Akash, leaving the young boy lonely and parent less. After living in solitude he managed to meet up with a caravan that led him East into the lands of Felsen during the Orenian Civil War with the Nortruppen. He spent quite a while alone and troubled because of racism that he recieved when trying to find a job in Felsen to support his new life there. Even the caravan that helped him there stole practically everything he carried behind his back, leaving him poor and hungry. Now Wallace seeks for family and opportunity throughout this region, searching for relatives and his father, in order to reclaim his shattered childhood and create a better life for himself. Personality Traits: Wallace has a tendency to snap his fingers when nervous and bites the bottom of his lip when worried. He is charismatic, charming, hardworking, explorative, curious and friendly which makes him a nice person to be around. Although sometimes Wallace can appear to be a knucklehead or even prideful every now and then. Ambitions: Wallace's believes his calling was to be an Explorer, and seek distant lands to find his lost father. Strengths/Talents: Wallace had a knack for using a crossbow that he received before his father banished. He is also knowledged in the ways of a carpenter as well. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Wallace always had issues trying to deal with monsters because of the stories he heard of them as a child.
