Recently I picked 3d modeling back up, but this time using Blockbench. Thus I've been working on creating simple yet nice looking models for items, armor, & misc. models for Minecraft. These can be used to display a custom ST item, weapons/items your character uses, or even simply just for use in a resource pack.

If you're looking for art for an item but nothing suits your fancy or they're all too expensive for your small budget, fear not, for this commission page will operate purely with the cost of some measly mina. Models will have a base cost of 100 mina, and further cost will be negotiated over discord dms.

When requesting a commission, one may provide either text description of the item in question, or picture references on how it is wanted to look. Note that this uses a program that is meant for building models for Minecraft, meaning the models will appear blocky in shape. I will deliver the model in the form of a resource pack on default, I can assist with putting the model into a resource pack on request, and am willing to format the model in whatever way is requested within reason.

Adresin had sent his voice to the heavens in his shouting about taking the injured across the waters, or to the throne room, but his favorite moment of all was watching three druids jump from a 50+ meter cliff into a 1 meter shallow water. The fact that they got away with it while simultaneously being injured, makes him want to rethink the probability of death in this world.

Discord integration shouldn't be too difficult, depending on which api y'all use for the linkages between forums/discord/in-game, Could be as simple as getting the discord tag linked to the in-game account it was sent to and (if using JDA) you open a private channel, send a formatted message saying mail was achieved, and bam it's done. I suppose a toggleable setting would be nice for this feature.

(Discord Integration isn't as hard as it sounds, most of the time.)

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

The Epiphyte lore as its own encompasses previously existing lore for creatures like Dryads and Bryophytes, converting it to a single lore post after they were shelved. An Epiphyte is a creature which shares the physical appearance of a plant/tree which they had been either drawn towards, or rested at. The weight and height of the creature depends on their original race, and so does their lifespan.

Epiphytes go through a rebirth cycle every 25-100 years, allowing for players of all descendant races to experience the mechanic through their lifespan. When an Epiphyte is reborn through this mechanic, they retain all their memories from the previous rebirth, though it is up to the player's discretion. The Epiphyte after a rebirth cycle is born from the husk of their previous corpse as an infant, quickly aging up to adulthood within 1 IC year. 

An Epiphyte shares a connection towards its fae plant/tree, being aware of its location, and even feel any pain the plant may feel.

Epiphytes are capable of producing one seed to regrow their fae plant in case of death or map change, and should they grow a second, the first will wither and die. Epiphytes, like plants, react poorly to blight. If either the plant or the Epiphyte is blighted, the other shall gain said blight. Following this, if either the plant or the Epiphyte is healed by a blight healer, they both receive it.

The appearance of an Epiphyte will vary depending on the looks of their fae plant and how the player desires. Starting with the first transformation a player can have feet which may not resemble those of feet, but more of a mass of roots. Their skin can darken to match that of the bark their fae plant consists of. Flowers can grow upon their body, and their hair may consist of a leafy texture. After a rebirth, the player may change the intensity of such changes, adding more flowers and changes, up until the 6th rebirth where they reach their peak transformation.

Is there any reason why I can’t submit with .gif, like does the websites not allow using .gif files? Although video files are smaller for this project, the quality is also significantly worse. (At least for me) @LotsOfMuffins

On a side note I enjoy this idea because it’s one of those non-combat-y magics, which I particularly enjoy seeing as it helps add a twist towards slice of life and homely rp. Plus it makes me think of Mrs. Weasley from Harry Potter.

LOTC is at a lull where players want to give up hope but don't want to see the server die. No matter who you are, what rank you held, what your reputation is, it doesn't matter. We are all here because something on LOTC kept us around. We don't want to admit it, but the reason why we all leave and come back is because LOTC filled, or still fills, a void in our lives.

 

There are players that get banned, over and over, yet still try to log on.

There are players that were pushed away by their friends, their co-workers, yet still come back and try again.

There are players that push themselves to the limit to try to make a difference, told they don't matter, yet still, try again.

 

I could go on and on about this all day. Yet in the end of things it comes down to a few things. We're on LOTC for a reason, we stayed for a reason. You have a choice to try and help the server improve itself, or you can sit back and do nothing.

 

@501warhead I will call you out on this. Your words show a lot of emotions behind them. From being tired and wanting to give up, from having a lot of drive behind it all, it's a battle and you have to realize, everyone paints as you being alone. But at the end of the day, that's the struggle we all face. And the reality of the struggle, we aren't alone.

It's also great to note that this man is really good at his job, and speaks much more reason than most people allow him.

The wind blows. . .

They raise a hand to the wind, high above their head. A bundle of grass falls from their fingers to drift along with the wind. “The world is a peaceful place, in the correct places that is.” Said a figure in an all black cloak, features hidden from the world.

-- The frame shifts, the figure standing atop a tall hill drenched in water as it storms.

“I am not sure where it all went wrong, what I did to deserve this fate, why I was sucked into all this- something that I would never have done while alive.” The figure would say while throwing a rock down the hill to splash in one of many small puddles along the base of the hill, brushing back their hood to reveal the semi-transparent face of a dark elf that was once loved by some and hated by others. “I never wanted to kill those that I did, I never wanted to do what they made me do. Never in my life did I want to willingly kill another, which is why I have decided to do this one thing.” She said to the screeching wind, face to the sky as the rain platters down against the cloak she wears.

-- The scene shifts again, a blur of places that have once been. The woman in the cloak stands upon a mountain somewhere in the world, snow falling around her cloaked figure.

“They say it is a blessing, the ones who do this to us. I would disagree, when put to what I- and many others- have been put to, it is soon learned that it is more of a curse than a blessing. I can’t do half the things I used to be able to do, I can’t travel the world and visit the many peoples of this land and buy and sell wares, I can’t make friends with half the people I could before because they take it upon themselves to attack me because I am.. This creature that has been changed against my will.” She would say to herself, looking down the slope of the mountain. A flash of iron could be seen in her right hand, a dagger. Her gaze shifts down to look at the dagger as she lifts it in front of her, “I believe this, is the right choice. I haven’t been alive for long, but I think it is long enough especially if I am forced to live the way I am now.” She turns the dagger in hand so that the point is pressing against her cloaked chest, “My name is Vulryn, I spent my living days as a traveling merchant and my undead days as a servant to a delusional man. I lived for nearly two-hundred thirty-eight years and spent twenty-three years (262 in all) living as an undead.” She said with a silent sigh, inhaling as she continued. “This is how I choose to end my life, I won't come back, I won’t gather the strength to manifest. I believe it is past my time to move on.” She would finish with a whistle, black birds sailing past her carrying notes addressed to those few she needed to say something to.

She would stand there for minutes, even hours more. Up until the moment she had gathered the strength to end it, snow piled up around her and atop her up to her knees. “I will be buried here until the melting of snow when perhaps someone might find my cloak and my belongings. And a note addressed to a specific person whom I don’t know is living.” She plunged the knife into her chest with this, the blade tearing the fabric of the cloak and going into her chest with barely an effort.

“That is how it ends,” she whispered as she began to fade, cloak and her belongings falling into the snow to soon be buried beneath it.
