He is often calm and passive, but hides an arrogant side that often rears when stressed. He is very trusting as a person, and will often put trust in people he's never met before, which can be considered his weakness. Character Backstory(AFTER the Oren Era): Klaus was born much after the fall of Oren. He grew up in the Haense and lived a relatively middle class life. His father supported the family as a travelling merchant, which left most of his upbringing to his mother. As the only parent and close family member, Klaus bonded very strongly with his mother. Growing up, he had a natural inclination towards books on alchemy and other scholarly pursuits that his father brought him while visiting home. (obviously much of this can change as I'm not very familiar with the families history.) On a scale of one to ten, about how good is your Roleplay?: With 5 being average, I'd say between a 6 or 7. What is your biggest strength as a Roleplayer? I believe I have a good ability in applying the personality and background of my character to how he should react to a situation. For example, reacting in fear to a bandit Uruk while playing as some commoner without a hint of combat experience, or responding aggressively to an insult as a confidently insecure character. What is your greatest weakness as a Roleplayer? Combat. I'm not very demanding when it comes to combat rp as I fear metagaming. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Vyrwe was born in Laureh'lin from an affair of a travelling High Elf father, a soon to be veteran of the war against Oren and a Wood Elf mother, a local wood sculptor. Being a bastard with a wood elf mother, he was born with brown skin and brown eyes. As this is seen as a huge flaw in the eyes of pure High Elves, his father left him to be raised by his mother instead of taking him to the High Elf city of Haelun'or. Though a pure High Elf, his father did not want to leave Vyrwe. He saw him as his own son and left him in Laureh'lin for Vyrwe's own safety. Though sometimes viewed as different, the Wood Elves in Laureh'lin gladly accepted Vyrwe into their lands and as one of their own people. The High Elven negative view on him caused him to harshly dislike snobbish High Elves. Vyrwe was raised in Wood Elf culture even though his hair was white blonde like the High Elves. He learned and help his mother sculpt wood since he could remember but his mother had other plans for him when he were to become older. When Vyrwe became 9 years old, his uncle tutored him with the bow and arrow, another common art of the Wood Elf culture. Vyrewe hated using a bow and arrow, the bow was tedious to pull back, aiming it was almost impossible, and shooting at a target repeatedly could not contain his boredom. His childhood life was relatively stable throughout. He would spend the mornings and nights working with his mother on wood sculpting and spent the afternoons practicing with a bow and arrow. His hands gradually started to become covered in scars and calluses due to many minor injuries during sculpting. Over the years of his practice, Vyrwe's skill with a bow developed from constantly missing his targets to constantly hitting them from different ranges. When Vyrwe came to be 30 years old, he was taken with his uncle to go on his first hunting trip. There, Vyrwe discovered his true passion for using a bow and arrow, as he actually found a use for it instead of shooting targets all day. Vyrwe's work with the bow and arrow eventually molded his focus to join the military for his career.
