We all enjoyed going down to a local theater or art gallery to see what people have come up with. My favorite piece of music was made by a Kha, while he played it for the town. It was a haunting tune, that filled me with courage and power. I could never find a suitable alternative for that.... Anyway, my family always leaned towards the idea of me being a mercenary. I'm guessing they thought it would be the easiest job for me, and have the most pay. I was trained combat with all types of weapons, though I favored swords and daggers over bows. My first few years of mercenary work was nothing spectacular, but I found stealth was the best way to reach a target, with minimum casualties on our side. Then, we were commissioned by a Highlander, who wanted us to kill his wife who "had taken a chunk of his profit from work for her own benefit." He acted like this way, the authorities would never find out who sent us. I could tell that he didn't care what happened to us, if we were to be locked up or executed. So, I left. Left with my partners who I grew friendships with begged me to come with them. But I didn't listen. ​I kept an eye on all of my partners, and sure enough, they were killed for committing murder. I knew that Highlander was responsible, directly or indirectly. I swore that I would find him, and kill him for what he did to my partners... no, my friends. My first memories were sneaking around my friends to scare them in games. As I aged, this never changed inside me, my love to be unseen. My elder however, seemed to WANT me to be unseen, as he disdained me and everything I did. One day, it seems, he had enough of me. He told me I had no reason to stay around "these good people." That I would be "better off away from anyone in the land." I took these insults to heart, and ran away from the warm, inviting lights of the city, and into the dark, cold forest. It was there I grew MY disdain for him, and I needed to show it. I planned on going back to my home in the dead of night to end him. Two years after I left, I came back.
