Alright, seriously I need an answer to this: Just started Mining and I have NO idea what Im doing.
Im just digging in random straight lines hoping to find Iron.
Is it seriously that rare? Do I have to go to a certain depth? Do I have to rub a genie lamp and make 3 wishes?
WHAT ORGAN DO I HAVE TO DONATE TO A CANCER PATIENT?!
Seriously, this seems overly complicated for something as simple as Iron/Ferrum.

  Certain ores spawn with a certain fequency at certain layers. You should start by digging to the bottomt o fhte stone layer and just dig a 3x3 hole in a straight line, you'll find ores along the way. As you level up you'll be able to mine deeper and deeper.
