Character’s name: Valuum Estaru Character’s sex: Male Character’s race: High Elven Character’s age: 689 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Born in 834 to a high elven family, Valuum Estaru was a shielded child. he sought no conflict, saw only peace in the world around him. He was raised an educated and well off elven child, with a rather large family. Though his mother and father both had brothers and sisters that bore several children, Valuum was "special" in his parents eyes. His mother and father spoiled him, for he was their only child. He carried an arrogance about him in his early childhood that would last for quite a long time throughout his life. For 50 years, until his adulthood, Valuum was happy, and content with his current standing in the world. But not long after he came into adulthood, he learned he must leave his childhood behind. As tradition in his family, it was customary to go to the other family households throughout the other elven lands within Malinor, Alone. Valuum had never even left his homestead let alone leave the entire county. Though he had no idea which way to go, he set off in direction of the nearest family estate on his map. As he traveled through Malinor, the morals and High society attitude his parents instilled in him prepared him for the hardships ahead, but never could he have imagined what he would find beyond his remote homestead. Wood elves were extremely uncommon in his area, and ever since a young age he despised them. He would always point his nose in the air at how "low" they were, being nothing more than common folk. His family had much to share with him as he visited each of the homesteads, in each corner of Malinor. His uncle on his fathers side told him of Larihei and her Blessed Ones, and how they left Malinor to seek a paradise for them. This burned a deep regret within Valuum, for he desperately wished to go with Larihei, for he was obviously supreme above the other elves for being a High elf. It took him nearly 12 years to travel to each homestead, and by the time he returned, he had learned much of the world of elves. Though this world was about to come crashing down. Soon after his return home, Valuum's entire family gathered to celebrate his completion of childhood. There were games, laughter, remembrance of past completions. Valuum was happy to see his family together like this, since the last completion of childhood had been nearly 100 years before he was born. His uncles told stories as they drank fancy wines and ate delicious foods. The celebration would last weeks at this rate. However, only a few days into the celebration, Valuum's father got a letter from the only family member that could not come. Valuum's uncle, Varseridon, who lived alone in the mountains in northern Malinor had sent a warning to the family. A warning Valuum would never forget. It warned that dozens of wood land elves were planning to storm Valuum's family homestead. The same night the letter arrived, the homestead was indeed attacked by dozens of cloaked wood land elves, who were murdering many of Valuum's family in their sleep. His father rushed to his room to warn Valuum of the attack on the family, but as his father reached his room, an extremely immense Wood elf swung a dagger straight down into his skull. Right before Valuum's eyes, he watched his father murdered by an Elven man the size of a bear. Valuum was not strong, nor was he trained in fighting at this time, so his only option was to flee. And flee he did. After traveling all of Malinor to each of the numerous (now unoccupied) family estates, he knew his only hope was his uncle Varseridon, who had sent the letter. The northern mountains were treacherous and hard to climb, and it took Valuum nearly 2 years to reach his uncle's mountain home. Once he arrived, Valuum was told of a family secret: The mines. Many of the family estates were near or on a mountain, though Valuum never connected this as a wrongdoing. Varseridon explained that within each of these mines were Elven slave workers, who had been captured and bred to work he mines. The Estaru family had been cruel to their elven brethren. After more than 300 years of slavery and cruelty, the slaves had had enough. Within each mine was a sizable amount of workers, nearly 100 to a mine. This was plenty to over power the guards, however not all slave workers tried to escape. Those who did though were led by a man named Oxius Veli, the same Bear Elf who attacked the family. He had apparently organized the escaped slaves into a fighting brigand to take revenge on the Estaru family. Valuum became enraged, knowing his family had committed atrocities, but they were the reason they were wealthy. And now with so few family members left, no one could over see the mines and their workers. Valuum swore he would avenge his family, but Varseridon warned against it, telling him not to act hasty, for it would only lead to Valuum's death. His uncle told him he would teach him how to properly use a weapon in a fight. And he also would give him his life long craft: Wood cutting. Though it sounds quite wimpy and not at all what Valuum needed, Varseridon was pure muscle from hundreds of years of perfecting his craft. He could chop trees down with one swing of his mighty axe. And his uncle was already middle aged, long passing his Prime age. The wonders he could possibly do with such strength appealed to Valuum. Varseridon was also willing to give him free food. At this, Valuum agreed to stay and train at his uncle's Homestead until he was ready to face Oxius. For the next 300 years, Valuum spent most of his time swinging an axe at trees, but also spent as much time as he could practicing with a sword. Over those 300 years of wood cutting and sword fighting, Varseridon grew old. Well over 900 years old, He was unable to do as much as Valuum could, now in his prime. They every so often would deal with any wood land elves that would intrude on their land, with a prompt sword to the face. Regardless of who they were, Valuum would not allow the existence of wood elves so close to his only family left. His rage still burned hot in his chest, and after long centuries of chopping trees, Valuum had become extraordinarily strong. Varseridon was quickly slipping into the next life, and told Valuum he was ready to search out Oxius. First however, Valuum gave his uncle a ceremonial burial. Afterwards he set out on his journey to find his foe. Valuum concluded the best way to find him would be to travel all over Malinor to try and learn as much as he could about the woodland Brigand that attacked within the forest blanketed lands of the Elves. Between the amount of time he traveled, and the time he spent training, it took him 40 years before he even learned where the brigand operated. At which point he realized the brigand had grown from a mercenary band to a full blow military company, 100% inducted into the Malinor Military. With a heavy sigh, Valuum concluded through his immense knowledge he had to go punch something in the face. After wrestling a family of bears out of frustration, Valuum finally thought to try and join the military. After all, free food was good food. Upon arrival at the Military headquarters, Valuum signed up to the Malinor Military. The Military noticed his immense strength and immediately started training him in Brute camp. The training was simple enough, All you had to do was carry heavy things, then put them back down. Valuum would be awesome at this. Until they also made him balance across a chasm on a wet log with giant barrels that weighed well over 500lbs. Thankfully they had a rope tied to him so he wouldnt fall to his death. But there was nothing they could do for his wounded balls and pride. Some years after the end of Valuum's Brute training, word was spreading of some unknown dark magic rising in the world beyond. It was at this time that Valuum would fight in the many many wars to come over the next three centuries, first as a Malinor Brute warrior, then as a commander in the war against the undead, and would help the Silver Enclave claim dominance over the other elven races. Though this did not last long, Valuum stayed true to his prejudiced past and continued to fight as a knight for the armies of Haelun'or. Not long after Valuum was made a Evarir'thilln to quell certain unruly wood elves. After this it wouldnt be some time until Valuum was needed once again in the war of the fringe. Once again claiming victory over his enemies, Valuum proceeded with the High elves into Thales. However this did not last long and once again Valuum followed the High elves to a new land, the land of Athera. not long after this, Valuum was forced into hiding after the fall of the Silver Enclave. Though still secretly an adamant supporter, He was present for the war between the high elves and the reformed oren kingdom. Though he did not wish to admit defeat, Valuum followed his orders to surrender to the Kingdom of Oren. After the giant worm destroyed most of Athera, and the Descendants arrived in the Isles of Vailor, Valuum spat at the name of the High elves, saying they should press their obvious right to rule the Elves. Now a loner in the world, a grizzled war veteran, and an ancient High Elf, Valuum roams the woodland realms, ever searching for his life long foe: Oxius Veli, the murderer of the entire Estaru family. Personality Traits: Though he prefers isolation, Valuum can spark a decent conversation when necessary. He loves animals, never harming any that did not first attack him. When threatened, This elf is not to be trifled with, lest his anger consume you. He is EXTREMELY racist. Mostly towards other Elves, besides High elves of course. Valuum is also a veteran of every single major war of the past, and thus has seen some **** man. Ambitions: Avenge his family's murder at the hands of Oxius Veli. Also to become the strongest elf that ever lived Strengths/Talents: Extraordinarily strong. Able to chop trees down with one handed axes and cleave a man in half with a sword Weaknesses/Inabilities: Though immensely strong and physically able, Valuum can not run very long, he skipped out on leg day. He also isnt the most charismatic Elf ever. He hates most other elves besides high elves. Should he come across one, Valuum may try to attack one on sight depending on what they look like. He's also not at all intelligent, He was given an education, but he has all but forgotten everything he learned (besides how to speak basic of course) simply to focus on his training. Besides this, his legs have been broken many times during war, and has hundreds if not thousands of scars from long past wars in the distant past. Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): 6'4" 230lbs or 104kg SUPER bushy eyebrows. Like trim that **** dude.
