( This is a repost of my previous application, as due to the server issues, I believe the application was lost into the aether. Please forgive me if the application is already there. )
Out-Of-Character Information
What’s your Minecraft account name?: Koollan
How old are you?: 18.
Are you aware the server is PG-13 (You won’t be denied for being under 13): Yes.
Have you read and agreed to the rules?: Yes.
What’s the rule you agree with the most?: 'Agree with the most'? Every single one. If we're going to go into rules that I find the most interesting and captivating, it would have to be the Construction and Theft rules, as they seem fairly complex, yet have a distinct feel to them of which I'm fairly sure I'll get the hang of fairly quickly and learn to grow fond of.
Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense? (if so we can help clear it up!): The combat rules and revival mechanics I do get the gist of, but may need further explanation down the road (even though I do not plan to make my character militaristic, more on that later.)
How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: Roleplay on various other mediums. I used to be on another Roleplay server, but it's diminished in popularity, and due to me coming back to Roleplay, I'd like another place to go, so I looked it up.
Link(s) to past Whitelist Applications (If applicable): N/A.
Definitions
What is roleplaying?: Playing as your character from their perspective - almost like playing a role in a play. Immersing yourself in the character you play.
What is metagaming?: Using knowledge you've gained as a player, yet not as your played character, for an advantage impossible to have gained from an in-character perspective.
What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: As a World of Warcraft RPer, this is known as God Modding as well - taking actions that would disallow other characters to act for themselves. Such as, "Jeremiah takes Geoff's hand, cutting it off.", or "Steve watches as Carl runs away in fear of Steve's might."
In-Character Information
Character’s name: Khoradin Broadbrew
Character’s sex: Male.
Character’s race: Mountain Dwarf.
Character’s age: Around his mid 30s (in human age, that is. I can't find an age page for lore, so I'm open to feedback.)
Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.):
Khoradin was born in (TBD) to a quaint family, always keeping to themselves. As the years passed, he would eventually find himself on the outskirts of Rhewengrad, a Dwarven fort, keeping to himself and doing various pieces of woodwork and architecture, doing all sorts of landscaping and building in his free time. It was a very quiet life he lead, though once the Orenian Empire began their invasion of Rhewengrad in 1537, he was forced to go into seclusion to prevent himself from getting caught in the crossfire. After the embers died down and the fortress was claimed, Khoradin came forth from his abode. Rumor had it that in the coming year, the Orenian Empire would march forth to take yet another Dwarven settlement, Khro'Nogaak. Wanting nothing to do with this, he took his belongings and set out alone into the wilderness.
As he traveled, he gained a bit more lay of the land, eventually finding himself in the northern portions of Vailor, a region scarcely populated. This escape venture of his proved highly gratuitous as with his newly learned survival skills, previous architectural knowledge and motivation, he settled himself down and began scrapping together yet another humble home. Through the years, he'd live in silent solace, keeping himself away from the needless violence of war - and perhaps, one day, starting up a legacy of his own. Only time could tell. With the fall of the Empire of Vanderguan and the rise of the Kingdom of Vandoria, anything was possible - the world of Vailor was Khoradin's oyster.
Personality Traits: Khoradin prefers life above ground rather than in the mountains, yet finds a cozy atmosphere very preferable - an odd mixture of preferences that leads him to love visiting mountainhomes as well as his own above-ground abode. His hobbies and habits lead him to various survival techniques due to being driven from his home, knowing how to fell trees after effort as well as tend to logs, craft things from wood and provide architectural support behind buildings he crafts. Khoradin, by this sense, is a very down-to-earth dwarf, loving company, jokes, laughter, and of course - mead.
Ambitions: Khoradin aspires to become some sort of mayoral figure of a small community - making sure there is a stable living environment for all residing. A full circle of resources, a beautiful land and wonderful company of neighbors and friends are what he strives for.
Strengths/Talents: Khoradin builds, crafts, carves - whatever you may think of involving wooden structure. He's not foreign to using rocks and stone to mock up a few tools for use, but he's no miner like many of his kind - though, his father was a smith, and he picked up on a few techniques over the years of living with him. Khoradin is essentially a leader, a woodworker and a builder.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Khoradin, as a mountain dwarf, has trouble seeing in the dark, though this is remedied through his torched and lit surroundings. As he is a friendly fellow, he's very prone to being betrayed as he is not as cautious as to what friends he should make.
Appearance: Khoradin is of an average dwarf height, perhaps a bit taller. His hair and kept beard are a solid light brown, eyes an ocean-like blue, though usually worn with signs of wear and work. His beard is quite short due to him trimming it quite a lot, for he feels that it interferes with his work.
Skin:
