Mainly it is a role that you picture yourself as, or a character that you would want to be. What is metagaming?: I think it is when you make decisions or talk about topics that your character would have no realistic reason of knowing. What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: I believe it when someone forces an action onto someone else. Declaring that oneself slices off an others arm without letting them react is an example of power-emoting. Lightning Foot was born in the city of Laurelin (Vailor). With his love to travel, explore and his unrelenting curiosity, he has traveled to the Cloud Temple, Lorraine, Krinfird, and Sanctuary. Lightning Foot was born in 1548. He has made friends with some humans and dwarves, but has an unanswered hostility towards Orcs. There has been a rumor going around that while his parents were traveling, no one really knows what they were doing, some Orcs stumbled upon them, and seeing that they were in their territory, slaughtered them on the spot. Ever since his parents went missing he has been raised by his grandparents, whom care for him very much. It is Lightning Foot's dream to become the leader of the Wood Elves and lead them to victory, both economically, and in war. This was his fathers goal for him ever since he was a boy. He always told Lightning that he was destined for greatness. Luckily, since he is charismatic, he has the necessary diplomacy skills needed to be a leader. Lightning Foot loves to interact with different races and just everything living, which in result builds his personality and knowledge of the different cultures. Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Lightning Foot is funny, fun, cool, brave, smart, kind, and outgoing. He loves to have fun, hunt, and fight for the elves. He has not found anyone or anything to dislike just yet, due to his young life. Lightning Foot tends to react to a situation quickly, especially in fights. Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) One day, Lightning Foot hopes to be leader of the Wood Elves. Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) He is extremely good in combat. His specialties are blade to blade, and using the bow, given to him at birth, and arrows. Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Water. He can not be in a very large body of water, without any sight of land. There needs to be land in close proximity. Sure he can swim, but in his mind somewhere, something tells him that if he can't see any land, then there is no point in swimming. This would hypothetically conclude to him drowning. Thats how his enemies can mainly get to him. Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Lightning Foot has olive colored skin, and is 5"6', being one of the taller wood elves. He has dark green eyes, and long, silky dark brown hair, always in a braid down is back with green dyed tips.
