    Cyrene stares out at her city, the city where she met Dael'ran- their home. A gentle breeze made her hair to sway from her spot atop the clerical statue, at least adding some sense of tranquility to her troubled state. 
    "    I still love you," she said quietly, perhaps the last words she'd ever speak to him.

    "    Goodbye."

    Hi there, it's always nice to see a new player on the server. If you're looking for RP jobs, you could become a guard, merchant, a baker, a miner, basically anything you can think of. Being a guard or just selling things are pretty common ones.

    As for places to start, if you're looking for RP, RP hubs are good places to start. The Dominion, Renatus-Marna, Holm, and Sutica are all pretty active. And if you're looking for friends, feel free to PM me and we can chat lol. I dont bite.

    9th of the Grand Harvest, 1672.

    Cyrene watched as visitors and citizens filed into the room, her eyes moving from face to face in silence. She straightened her spine, fixing her once slouched and sloppy position on the right chair. However, she was nervous. Not because she was to give a speech in front of a large crowd, but because there were too many windows and an open gate. Surely we'll be attacked, she thought, it's only a matter of time, and we may not have the forces to combat whoever attacks. Not now, at least...

    Not now.

    Cyrene stood, turning to face Alem'shun as he presented her the crown. She stared down at it, before allowing him to place it upon her head. Then, she turned towards the crowd and spoke.


    "I stand here today speaking to you all because I want to watch Sutica progress, grow, and start anew for years to come. I want to see it advance and continue to live like it once did. This city, alongside it’s citizens, has a special place in my heart, a place that I will forever cherish and remember. Sutica has a thousand memories and stories to tell, even if it’s just some old, failed city in the eyes of some… This city has potential, and I’m determined to make that possible. I want to grant you, citizens of Sutica, a chance for freedom, happiness, and safety within our walls under my leadership!”

    For the graves of the fallen, for the heroes of the past who have given their lives for Sutica’s well being, for those who fight for the safety and success of this city, I will do everything I can to carry out their goal whether by blade or by word, as both your Trade Princess and Guard Captain. Follow me and help us all carry out this goal, to create a better place for all, no matter the religion, race, practice of magic, or who you want to love.
    Once a quiet, dismal, abandoned city now turned into something greater with love and life. Even after my time as Trade Princess, I wish to see it continue to grow and live for years to come so that this dream of ours can come true as one unified city. Together, we will create something beautiful for all, something that the leaders of the past sought to reach. I am determined, willing, and ready to serve as Sutica’s new Trade Princess until I die!"


    With that, she ended, the crowd before her cheering and clapping. She'd taken Alem'shun's previous spot at the center throne, resting her hands in her lap as she looked up towards the crowd once more.

    My favorite lotc moment is probably when Sutica peeps all hopped in VC and played bedwars. I had an absolute blast that night.

    You're a cool person!! Even if we never talked much OOCly, I've known you since mid axios when Cyrene first joined the Sirame and sometimes I like to reflect on that to think that you're still playing LOTC after so long.
    Cyrene is my precious child and I love her more than anything in the world, she's so soft and precious and I want to protect her with all my heart.

    Describe your knowledge on the descendant races

    The Elves, Humans, Dwarves, and Orcs.

    Elves, children of Malin.

    • The Elves, also known as Mali in the elven language, consist of four subraces. High elves, wood elves, dark elves, and snow elves. The elves are cursed with infertility, but also can live up to 1000 years old, no longer being able to conceive a child at 500.
    • High elves excel in magic (typically voidal) and most reside with Haelun'or. As for appearances, they have fairly light colors. Their skin is quite pale, and have hair colors of silver, blonde, or even white. Their eye colors can consist of green, purple, blue, or gold. In the elven language, they're referred to as either Mali'aheral or Mali'thill. Mali'thill only being used with a pure high elf (100% high elf). 
    • Wood elves excel in druidism and archery. They value nature and life, and reside in Caras Eldar. As for appearances, they are the shorter of the four subraces, having darker skin, red or brown hair, green, brown and (rarely) blue eyes. They're referred to as the Mali'ame in the elven language.
    • Dark elves excel in combat, being the most muscular of the four subraces. Most currently reside in Khel'seth. As for appearances, their skin color ranges from ash to completely black. Their hair colors can be multiple shades of black, gray, or even white. They can have many eye colors, like blue, purple, green, red, etc. They're referred to as the Mali'ker in the elven language.
    • Snow elves are quite similar to high elves in terms of appearance, except that they're more tolerable to the cold of the south. They reside within Fenn. They're known as the Mali'fenn in the elven language.


    Humans, children of Horen.

    • Humans consist of three subraces. Heartlanders, highlanders, and the farfolk. They're cursed with a short life, only living up to 200. They range from 4 to 6+ ft. Unfortunately, the wiki doesn't state too much on the high/heartlander's appearances, though the farfolk are the darker skinned of the three.


    Orcs, children of Krug.

    • The orcs consist of goblins, orcs, and ologs. Orcs, being the most common of the bloodline, range from 6-8 feet and skin colors can range from purple, green, red, or even blue. They're cursed with bloodlust and anger, enough to even attack their own friends or allies in combat. They're known to be quite ugly too, with large tusks and thick skin.
    • Goblins are quite smaller than orcs, being 4-6 feet sometimes. They're quite intelligent, excelling in tinkering and crafting mechanisms. 
    • Ologs are the largest of the orc bloodline, being 10-12 feet in height. However, they're also quite dim and slow. They have a limited vocabulary, and seem to excel in crafting large structures due to their mighty strength.


    Dwarves, children of Urguan.

    • The mountain dwarves are larger, and have lighter skin tone. Their hair can be red to black, and they seem to be built for outdoor labor such as leather working and woodcutting. They're the most common of the three subraces.
    • The cave dwarves are shorter and darker skinned, built for mining and smithing. They offer great aid in times of war because of this.
    • The forest dwarves are more brown skinned and less muscular then the other dwarves, and can commonly be seen residing with the druidic order.

     

    Describe your knowledge on other pieces of lore that you believe to be relevant

    Magic on LOTC can be learned by finding an IC teacher (sometimes OOC). You can learn an arcane magic, deity magic, dark magic, or artificery magic. 

    Magic can be granted from a god (aengul) though the void, or maybe even other means. For example, druidism is granted by ones willingness to protect nature and serve the Aspects, while water evocation is granted through the void with practice. 

    While it may not be possible at the moment, it is possible to self teach a magic with the help of an OOC teacher as well.

     

    Detail what drives you to become a member of the application team

    I want to join the application team because I've noticed I often find myself helping out new players, whether it be over the server or on discord. I thought it would be fitting for me to join the AT, so here I am!

     

    Provide an alternate way to assisting new players apart from reviewing applications

    There are many ways to do this. Most commonly, it would probably be through the server in WS chat, in the new player discord, in OOC, etc. Whenever a new player seems lost, im willing to hop in and help them out, no matter what platform it's on.

     

    Survey the application process and provide any possible improvements which could be made

    I'm not very fond of the current application process. I do believe that it could use some work. Quality over quantity.

    For example, I've seen players get accepted with 2 sentences for their bio that barely have anything to do with LOTC (or they don't seem to have a great understanding of it, that is). I feel like more work needs to be put in for the application process.

     

    Provide any additional information that you believe is needed

    This is probably a really lazily written application and I apologize I tried my best
