Biography:
Pikel was born in a rural town in Aegis on the sixth morn' of the first seed of winter, 1462 along with his brother in a family of four. He worked alongside his father, Kravus, and his younger brother, Bjorn, in the coal mines making what meager earnings they could to keep food on the table for their ill mother, Mira. With the town's eventual depletion of coal in the local mines, many dwarves were out of work. The Boulder-Shoulders were no exception, and Kravus made the decision to send both Pikel and Bjorn to a neighboring town for work. With miners from other failing towns spilling in for work, Kravus and Pikel resorted to a crime-spree, stealing what they needed and acting as thugs for a local gang. During their visit to their family home after a month in the neighboring town, they were greeted by a burnt shell of their birth-home.
Learning that desperate families had decided to fight against each other for food, they found the remains of their parents among the ruins of the town. Bitterly ravaged by the death of their parents, they quickly returned to the town, saving up enough minas over the course of several decades through their participation in organized crime. Eventually, they spent their minas and traveled via caravan to the city of Kal'Omith, hoping to escape their troubled past. Once they arrived at the city, Pikel was soon hired as a laborer in galleon construction along with his brother. Pikel hopes to shed off his evil means of making minas in search for a more prosperous, peaceful life, though he is far from it.
Personality Traits: Tendencies to flex and admire his own muscles. Usually sporting a jovial attitude, he puts his full effort into nearly everything he does. He likes ale and a few pals to drink with.
Ambitions: Aspiring to be more than a simple coal miner and ruffian; Pikel yearns to fight for a cause he believes to be beneficial, whether it grants him wealth or a rise in social class. More than this, he wants to protect his remaining family: his brother Bjorn.
Strengths/Talents: Mining, Hand-to-Hand Combat
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Suspicious of most individuals as he bears a lack of trust for most living things as well as a hot temper. Patience is not one of his virtues.
Appearance: A 4'3", lean dwarf in his youth. He'd be bald, a long, dark brown beard twisted down to his upper chest. He'd wear a light green tunic with no sleeves, hide leggings with an iron belt buckle and hide boots.
