Arthur Thompson was born on a small house located on the top of a mountain near Meltz, the capital of the Archduchy of Lorraine. Although he sometimes visited Meltz, he passed all his infancy in the same mountain. His father was a hunter who teached him the secrets of those mountains and the secrets that were behind the hunting process.
When he was 16, he wanted to see the world and its cities and he decided to leave Lorraine and went to Johannesburg, the capital of the Holy Orenian Empire. Therefore, he tried to find a job, and he eventually found one as a blacksmith. Although having no previous experience on this art he learned very fast. After some time working there he was able to forge great swords and armors very easily.
In Johannesburg he also spent his free time training with his sword and bow and he eventually became an excellent fighter.
3 years later he returned to the mountains where his parents lived and realised that unfortunately his mother had died a few months ago. This saddened Arthur a lot and his father fell in depression and abandoned the mountain 5 days after Arthur’s arrival.
After this tragedy, Arthur decided to go back to Johannesburg. In the road to the Imperial Capital he heard a grave and loud sound. One day later one villager told him that the Emperor Philip I had blown up the capital and so he continued his trip, this time to a new emergent nation of the Isles of Axios, to Courland, Aleksandria, the place where the King Tobias Staunton was being crowned.
