Make it so people needs to join within the first 30 mins after combat starts... so it would also promote faster fights... instead of very slow fights due to people waiting for others to pop up.

30 minutes is a rather moderate time having in mind that rp fights usually take over one hour.

After Aegis the purpose of the Ascended became save souls from being altered through dark magic and attempt to find a way to restore those already altered to their previous state, and also protect the descendants from those that wish to  annihilate them like world antags.

But due to the rigidity of both loreholders and LT cure creatures of altered soul wasn't possible, so our rp focused on trying to defend descendants from such individuals and their soulless minions, which the LT is trying to avoid rn.

At the start of this lore is pretty clear that the Ascended as they were before won't exist anymore and a totally new kind of Ascended will replace them, basically leaving behind the deific fire to move towards Astra which is holy water/ice of sorts.

Tbh i was in favor of changing the name of the magic to leave behind all the hate and resentment that some people still holds towards it, having in mind that the abilities are totally different and the playerbase is a rather fresh one... but the majority preferred to keep it.

Now once i explained that; The new purpose of the Ascended is ensure that all souls reach an adult age before they pass on the soulstream, as such is beneficial to Aeriel, which implies help those in need so they are able to develop correctly (so they don't die young, their souls are not corrupted etc). The magic itself will be orientated towards utility and support instead of solely fighting, in my opinion the main purpose of any magic should be generate a kind of rp different than what can offer any other magic, and i think that this rewrite will do so once finished.

We are open to feedback if you think that something could be different or if you wish to contribute with ideas.

Clearly Lotc is not what you came looking for, how you can develop you character and write lore is clearly limited by common rules and how the community expects them to be, i would advise you trying to find an activity that could help you to explore your creativity instead of improving your issues as Lotc seems to be doing.

Elemental Evocation is a voidal magic, and unless your family used Fire evocation for their steam boats i see it impossible. Maybe you should try to find someone irp that could actually enchant your blade with fire.

@Tofuus @Sporadic Guys please finish all the plugins before release, even push it if it is necessary, but lets not repeat what happened with the Territories plugin again.

And the random activity checks are an inherently flawed system. When they are conducted is up to the discretion of the GM doing it - whoever is. I don't know about you, but I haven't seen any broadcasts this past week. And this past week our activity has been soaring, since the city is actually completed and construction over.

I am not part of Haense nor i have ever been, i just travel around and talk from my own experience, if Carolustad is not very active whenever i go it is not my fault.

And i know the system is trash, that's why i said that it was subjective depending of when those checks are made.

@LithiumSedai That's actually pretty good, but i am talking about general activity, not about specific moments, if Carolustad holds an event i am sure it will be the most active while it lasts.

Whenever i have visited both cities i have always found more activity at Haense than Carolustadt... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And the activity checks that the GMs broadcast usually show Haense in the top 3 of the active settlements while Carolustadt is far away in the ranking... but maybe that's subjective depending of the time.

There is a reason humans don't live close to each other. Human rp needs a degree of decentralization for the political interactions that form the mainstay of our rp. Furthermore a huge number of rp grudges between factions have prompted them to settle apart from each other as forcing them into close proximity almost always results in an absolute blood bath. This system takes Human rp and shoves it into an organized little box for the sake of RP when humans are atm the undisputed most active race on the server. With their dominion possessing 4+ very active settlements. System just seems like a knee jerk reaction to everyone whinging about freebuild and decentralized rp.

I am totally with Narthok here, all the settlements that meet the requirements of activity should get their nation status, without matter if they are vassals or not.

((Also i would like to note that the most beautiful cities of Atlas were built at the start of the map with LC... there hasn't been any city built in freebuild that could be compared to them (maybe Curon once it is finished) and that kinda worries me because the buildings at the start of the map with lack of resources could be subpar. ))

So... Haense wont have nation status in the next map because they are part of the Empire even though they are way more active than the Capital of the Empire? Explain please.

Name's Angelo, he is an Ascended human of ginger hair that looks like of he would be 25 years, is two meters of height and he has a small scar on the left side of his face and the tattoo of a snake along his left arm. He is pretty quiet and doesn't find interesting talk with other men except when he needs something or they are his friends.

1.4 Nope, they should keep them alive if they want to capture them, if they pop then they died in rp.

1.5 I don't like it, i don't see a reason to change it from what it was before, plus people would be using private skins for nps without the approval of the creator of such skin. Also some characters don't leave a body when they die, like mine that turns into ashes.

4.2 Make the cooldown 7 days if the defenders lose, 2 days is too little if the raid is uncapped.
