Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Sorvians in essence are servants constructed of clay with a wooden skeleton. Normally ranging from 3-6 feet in height (or 2-3 feet if a newt), these constructs are sculpted in the shape of a humanoid fitted with a mask with two identifiable eyes and a mouth marked with incantations marked in their creator’s blood. This in turn gives the Sorvian a small part of the creator’s soul essence. Once the husk and the mask is complete, the Sorvian is awakened once the mask is placed upon the husk, consuming it in light for a moment.

Sorvians of course are soft and are easily hurt, with limbs able to be cleaved off easier than a descendant. Although Sorvians have a dulled sense of pain, they can still feel it like an ache. In the case that a Sorvian is injured, they cannot heal like a normal descendant and must visit a sculptor for repairs. And in more dire cases, such as death by destruction of their mask by three solid hits, puncturing their chest cavity with the soul essence, or decapitation, the sculptor must retrieve the mask or recreate the mask with the incantation and place it on a new husk to revive the construct.

Sorvians are made to serve, meaning they cannot go against a direct order from their creator nor willingly harm them. The only expectation is if the creator intends to harm their mask in which they will protest and try to dodge, but never attack. Mentally Sorvians are not true men, always chasing an ideal. This ideal is core to their very mind and will go to any length to not be separated from it.

As it was written...

As a co-writer of animism, I am not biased at all.

I will admit that animism has its flaws. For the main issue, we wanted a ritual heavy magic for shamanism that unfortunately forces players to get multiple animists in one place. This however became the biggest hurt for the magic as the amount of player animists needed to gather in one place is almost impossible.

On the other side, I have heard plenty and plenty enough that animism has no combat capacity and its useless as a magic. To be frank Im tired of hearing it. This only compiles the main issue of the lack of players despite its easy to learn process (even if the lore is somewhat difficult to read).

If Elementalism could come back without all the powergaming capabilities we wanted to avoid with animism, that would be great. However as it stands people seem to want old elementalism as I have seen, which is not possible in this current state of the server.

Honestly,

I personally find aurum testing, salt testing, fire testing, and whatever an essential thing to the server, but it is executed in a very lazy way. As Unwillingly said these people who want interaction with villans are the same people that try to make their communities a "safe-zone." Due to this, darkspawn won't interact with that community. So who is really at loss here?

I found the best way to avoid these roleplayers is to not include a ca tag since shift right click meta is very real, and blend in with large groups (if you even can with all the settlements right now).

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Ghouls are the profane creations of Necromancers using rotting flesh and bone to give rise to artificial life. Necrotic in appearance, they appear as shambling monsters of decomposing flesh and hollow bones, thus only holding the strength of a human regardless of the source of the raised corpse. In addition to this, their bones are fragile and easily broken only taking a good strike of a blunt weapon to break. Their bodies are prone to the burning sensation of aurum as well as a mental discomfort of it. Ghouls are also weak to flame, having trouble concentrating unless the flames are put out quickly lest they meet their demise.

Mentally, ghouls are obsessed with their previous life, or the fading memories thereof, often leading to grievous jealousy of the living. These obsessions accompany the necromantic curse, often seen in the form of negative traits such as paranoia and general dislike of the living. One caveat however is un undying servitude to their necromancer. This however does not mean mindless submission.

Broth is the reanimated remnants of a goblin chef raised into a rotting construct of flesh and bone. With only a tattered chef’s hat and apron on his body, he walks with a hunched shamble.
