To all Citizens of the Trade Federation of Sutica

The fires of war have sparked again across this new continent we live on. The collapse of diplomacy should not be looked upon with lightheartedness. War disrupts our livelihood and it disrupts Trade which is crucial to the Federation. It is because of this very reason that this country has been historically neutral in the past. It is also my opinion that abandoning neutrality endangers the freedoms I have sought to ensure exist within Sutica.

Therefore, I have decided to reaffirm this country’s commitment to neutrality in all conflicts. Hopefully, this shall lay to rest all of the rumors of Sutican aid to any nation despite me not talking to any of these nations about aiding them. Our citizens should devote their time to the betterment of their own lives. This doesn’t mean one must cut off ties, but that one must avoid creating a position in these current and future conflicts.

To ensure the continued neutrality of the Federation of Sutica, I warn all Citizens that bringing aid to any country in their hostilities shall render one’s self liable to legal restrictions which shall include up to but not necessarily the stripping of one’s citizenship and disavowment from this community. Furthermore, the Federation of Sutica shall offer no protection to any citizen aiding in hostilities if they are to be captured. Any official of Sutica found aiding in the war shall be immediately stripped of their position along with all previously stated punishments.

It's pretty much the only screenshot I have of Asulon and I only have it because I did a data recovery on an old thumbstick. 

I sat down and thought about it and realized I don't have to do the salty bs that the Clerics used to. So I hid my old comment and wanna post my edit to that one and something else here.

 I would like if the LT used this as a chance to be clear. Does the MA need to be up for the full length of time needed to reach T4? As I have tried to learn my magic and the time since their posting drags ever onward I different answers on when I can post TA’s. Flam says one thing, Lt managers say other stuff. Shits confusing. Part of the ever unclear disaster the lore games will hopefully fix.

Xan, a son of the creator and god really not into being worshiped, graced descendants with his magic and presence so that they can defend descendants from threats. Their role is to use Xans magic to deal with active creature and magic threats, and to stay out of descendant conflict. The magic is the best fit for someone who already defends the innocent and seeks to be better equipped to do what they already do.
Paladins summon and utilize mists to create a limited range of spells with discreet (as in limited and defined) abilities. 
Creeds: Only attack in self-defense. Don't worship Xan. Don't betray paladins. Don't sell your magic. Stay out of wars. You can join organizations as long as you don't break creeds.

I actually really like this idea. I do my enchants in a similar way, directing people to the Paladin lore. I can do that because paladin magic has specific spells and because the lore is better to read than having people come to me.

I think the biggest problem with magical enchants is the accessibility of the information, and how much space it takes to even convey simple enchants.

I believe these parameters help with something I have believed LOTC needed for many months. Concrete spell cards with definitions of what each spell can do. 
I strongly think that any magic that exists should have concrete spells that anyone can be handed and understand what that spell does.Dungeon and Dragons does this. Here is one DnD spell for example:

 
This tells you every single thing you need to know about how that spell works. Every magic should be like this. If any person wants to know **** about what magic your casting, you should be able to hand them this and have them walk away knowing you aren't or are powergaming.

I plus one this because Mystery is sincerely good at his rp and what he does, and I know he will do what he can to ensure his students will be informed of the limitations and what they can do. Which is alot more than I can say about other teachers.

“Every now and again someone in Sutica achieves a grand accomplishment.

Members of our society are great each in their own way, and whether that greatness results in a heroic act, great cunning, or even just steadfast dedication, a true achievement requires rewarding.

It is with this in mind that I become the first Sutican Trade Official to bestow titles onto peoples in our populace in over an elven year.

These titles, unlike other lands, do not grant land or rank to those who receive them. However, in some such occasions where it can be specifically mentioned, a receiver of a title may count themselves amongst certain government organisations.
 

The revised system is stated below.

There are two types of titles.

Major Titles and Minor Titles.

Major titles are an honor bestowed on the person for great service through lengthy consistent support of the nation.

Good examples are folk such as Jon Snowell, who has served the city for an unbroken twenty eleven months!

Minor Titles are bestowed on some as a celebration of an event or a great feat of cunning, or simply as a joke.

An example of this would be the title of Piano Knight to Hiren for his use of a piano in battle.

With that clear the titles being bestowed as the start of this system are as follows:

Major Titles:

Jon Snowell is granted the title of The Eternal, for lengthy continued service to the Sutican Crown and Sutican People.

James Kellian is granted the title of The Loyal, for his family’s continued efforts in strenuous activity for the Sutican Crown and the Sutican People.

Utaria Helenson is granted the title of The Unwavering for her steadfast calm in times of danger and peril, as well as during the more stressful parts of managing the city and nation alongside her wife.

Elvira Naromis is granted the title of The Devout. Elvira earns this for her close ties with the Sutican Crown and her constant helpful presence as an ally of the Sutican People.

Alem’shun is granted the title of The Unknowable, for his families continued contribution to the city, even as he no longer rules and hasn't been seen for decades.

Minor Titles:
Hiren Vientos is granted the title of Piano Knight, for his inspiring use of wit and large upright instruments in combat.

Cyrene Riel is granted the historical title of Cake Knight, for her once great acts of valor against cake.

Farmer Billy Bob is granted the title of Potato Knight, and granted permanent membership in the Sutican Watch. He is granted this title for his tireless actions in support of the Descendants.

Hareven Lorenthus is granted the title of The Fuckstick, for his general personality and the great deal of entertainment he will derive from this title. It can be seen as a gift for his time managing the city in Atlas.

As other earn titles I will make additional Announcements proclaiming each one.”
