Hello marb here

This is without a doubt one of the worst possible outcomes of this report. I was not involved in the making of it, but I still wanted to see it bring forward results that would push the Cteam in a better direction. This is not it. The team is in desperate need of change, not a disconnected admin who is only active for a few months, every few months. I have quite a few concerns with this, which I will list below!

1. Can you actually guarantee you will be active this time? And not for a few months, but consistent activity. Will you roleplay on LOTC, will you actively get to know the community and even interact with players you don’t like when you have to? These are things I highly doubt you will do Telanir, as has been shown during the past few months.
    
2. You have only very recently become active again, which leaves me to think that there is already a giant gap between you and your own staff team. Do you know the players on the roster, do you know your managers and do you know how they work and what they want to do with the team going forward?
    
3. This is not the first time you have done this. There was an awfully similar situation when you took up the position of Community Admin to bridge the gap between TarreBear and LotsOfMuffins. You were god awful at it. You took to removing around 7 members of the team for “inactivity” while you were forcing your staff downsizing plan upon the team. This is horribly hypocritical from an admin who doesn’t even play on the server.
    
4. Why are you getting involved in this again? You specifically stepped down because of reasons similar to those I already listed above. What will change? If LotsOfMuffins take up the position again afterwards, what will actually change? I like to be positive and believe in the good of people but I highly doubt much of anything will change.

I feel like not enough was adressed here, and that this was just a “get out of jail for free” card handed to you Muffins. Why is it that this entire response was based on “the good will of Muffins” and only that? Why were actual concerns of the community as a whole not tackled here? Will we actually see change and will the team actually improve? Highly doubt that under either of you two, and I do not mean that as an attack towards you as people, but you as admins. This changes nothing and makes it feel like the entire report was swept under the rug. A lot of points were not adressed and the easiest ones were taken out to respond to instead. It is extremely easy to apologize and then step back from the cteam but will actual change happen? I highly doubt that.

Adressing the personal apologies below, as I like having an opinion on things.

This is something I don’t think you should be blamed for. The was he was accepted into the Cteam was in my opinion a bit sketchy, but I do believe it is unfair to blame you for the inappropriate **** he had done, you could not have known and acted appropriatly afterwards. I don’t think the report section that spoke about this was valid.

I was informed about this discord a while back, and I was told that it was made in order to trash talk the CT and that there was heavy trash-talking about me, so I was unhappy. We never saw solid evidence for this, and it was merely brought up by an ex-ct member in our chat. Now I do want to tell you that that is not the reason why the chat was made, at all. It was simply a chat for older and newer ex-ct people to chat up. If you put a bunch of ex staff members in a discord of course they are going to talk bad about your team and how it is being managed. Do we do it? Of course, I’d be lying if I said 

 that didn’t happen.

You did that multiple times, I was removed by you on multiple occasions for no clear reasons and had to ask to be re-added even when I just wanted to talk to you about a player report or staff feedback for your team. That was not the last time you removed/blocked me, it was actually the first. It’s an awful way to handle critism and even though that specific case was early into your tenure it was not the last time you did similar things to other players at all. You have become notorious for blocking people speaking out against you. Again, this is not an attack but I simply wanted to adress that.

Some parts of the report I disagreed with, but that does not change the fact I strongly disagree with the outcome. I don’t trust any change to come from this and I don’t trust Telanir to lead the team, judging by his past attitude and the way he has lead the team before.

Admins are often exposed to content a minor should not be allowed to see. Keep in mind the bad harassment and misconduct reports go to the administration, so having them as minors is in my opinion downright wrong. Minors should not be exposed to some of the **** that gets reported on here.

I would like to make a quick follow-up here as this time I’m actually sober and I will remember writing this. I would like to note that I am limited on evidence as a lot of it was on my old discord, and in chats I’m no longer in. These are my personal experiences with Muffins as an admin and the way she managed her team, not her as a person. I don’t believe Muffins is a bad person, and she like anyone else deserved a fair chance to defend herself.

I feel like there are a few individuals to blame for this situation we are now in. The way Muffins was put into her admin position was anything but kosher, and there’s people commenting on this thread that are very much responsible for that situation which I find quite funny.

Experience plays a big factor here, as Muffins was made CTeam when she was still very much a new player. I was her manager for a brief amount of time, and in hindsight think she was far too new of a player to join the team. She was also launched up to a manager position relatively quickly, under shady circumstances. The issue here is that Muffins was only a regular LOTC’er for a very short amount of time, meaning she never experienced the server in the same way the majority of the community has. It’s extremely important that as a community admin, you know what it is like to be a part of the regular LOTC playerbase, which clearly is not the case here.

Do I believe she is a terrible person? No. A public lynching seems a bit too much in this case, but the concerns here are very valid and are issues I also experienced with her first hand. Muffins managed to create a cult around her in the Community Team, making it an actual clique that couldn’t do a lot of wrong towards her. See the naming trend a lot of CT’s used to take, LotsOf[Name]. If other players changed their username to be similar to that of an admin, they would get shot. @Evonpire was once threatened with a ban when on the Cteam for changing his username to marb121, which was done as a joke between us while in VC.

Yet somehow this made it through. Ttsim was at the time a community team member. Other  examples here include LotsOfMeteor, LotsOfFish, LotsOfPepto and so on. If anyone else who was not on the community team were to do this they would get shot instantly. The clique that was created by the community team was quite obnoxious to say the least, and made the team very hard to take serious. I understand the Community Team is supposed to have a friendly image, but enough is enough and when it becomes an uwu cult that has an admin be horribly biased towards certain people issues arise.

I was not on the team during Muffins’ tenure as an admin, so the proof I have of her conduct is limited. The majority of issues I had with her were her handling of reports made on her staff members, her consistent lies and her inability to be consequential with how she punished members of her team. Charter leader chat comes to find, where I quite often brought up issues with the quality of the applications being accepted. The charter leader community was often left to clean up after the Community Team’s sloppy handling of applications and their lack of standards. It was quite difficult to have proper discussion with Muffins on this topic as all you would ever get was a “I’ll tell my managers”, which would change nothing and the cycle would continue.

As I stated in my previous, albeit drunken post I once got blocked by her because I complained about the team’s slow handling of applications. This is an issue that we did not have under Tarre’s team, a few people who have replied in this thread were also there for that. Our standards were higher, we handled applications faster and were far more open to feedback. We also got shot for actual reasons, and were not removed for “missing discord activity checks”. While competent team members got removed for a reason as minute as that, others remain on the team to this day after numerous reports regarding to misconduct and pex abuse.

Also leave the Muztagh situation out of it honestly, it’s been milked to death and there’s not enough proof to actually use it against her.

In the end I think a lot of this has to do with the fact Muffins was pushed into a position of power far earlier than she should have. This does not excuse her behavior towards her own team and other members of the community, however. I don’t believe she is fit to be an administrator anymore, and hope this report will bring up results without causing harm to any individuals emotionally, as I still don’t think a public lynching was the way to go about this.

Also please ask people for their consent to use their logs if you’re making a report public, people don’t like having their **** leaked for stuff like this without being aware.

Except lore wise the Dark Elves have been their own proper subrace and not just “insane High Elves”. That’s like saying the Halflings can’t get a nation, there’s a lot of reasons for that of which you are fully aware. Dark Elves have also been played far more consistently throughout various nations, often not as a part of a specific group.

You can not compare these two as the Snelves are an extremely specific case, with their own problems unique to their race and lore.

I just find it funny how you’re all acting like massive clowns towards squakhawk and none of you are able to even be remotely mature and civil about it. I’m not “buddies” with the ST’s responding here and I actually agree doing this without notifying the players in advance is pretty smooth brained. My issue is the way you people are trying to push your points by shoving words in the mouth of the ST’s and are not showing any signs of even listening to anything they have to say.

Also “keep coming back” I made 3 posts on this thread including this one, I understand that you are upset over minecraft cats but please try to at least be a bit nicer to people here because you and others here are not even proving points. It seems like mindless “hur dur let me **** on staff” behavior without any actual points being made or any actual content being provided in your posts.

Tl;dr

Don’t be a *****, and instead of getting so defensive on something you’re barely involved in give the ST a chance to explain themselves before you give them ****.

Love how the people the most toxic towards the ST are people mostly unrelated to this matter. I think by now the ST have cleared up that it’s by no means a hard shelf and that the rewrite related stuff was done by the players.

Calm down and stop giving the team so much **** if you barely know what you’re on about and are basing most of what you’re saying on rumours. It’s just mineman and some people here are becoming full on keyboard warriors because of pixel cat-men.

Most of the “people camping their city” stuff can all be blamed to the god awful activity check system nations and charters had to deal with this map, the lack of road rp due to both lag and later on warps, and just the nature of lotc in general.

Hope to see RP a bit more spread out next map, and more dynamic rather than people camping the same spot for a few hours, sadly this map there were a few systems in place that pretty much required it.

Looks amazing, can't wait to run around in the Uzg next map!

Posters could be found all around the Eternal Uzg and The Ziggurat of Mor, an invitation to the festivities to come!

Over the past few years, word of a new home for the Mali’ker had slowly been spreading around. The Ziggurat of Mor as they had called it, home to the Bands of Ker’Okarn; a group of ‘ker that banded together after the fall of Renelia, to preserve their kin. A formal opening for the Ziggurat is in place, and it is because of that the Bands of Ker’Okarn invite the following groups to celebrate this opening with them:

• The Eternal Uzg
   
• The Onyx Sanctum
   
• The people of Oyashima
   

The celebrations will be started with a ceremony carried out by the High Priest of Ker’Okarn, within the Ziggurat of Mor. After the ceremony, food and drinks will be available all throughout the Ziggurat, and people will be given the chance to set up their own stalls to sell their wares.

You get enough sleep yet?” His brother asked, and Ailmar tugged at the bindings around his limbs. “Would be easier if you took these off.” He grumbled drowsily, voice low and throat dry.

“You know I can’t do that. You were down in that cave a while, you know. The doctors-“

“The doctors cured me. Cut out big chunks of me to do it… I’m fine, Aroen. I’ll b fine. And I’m ready to get out of this damned bed.” He cut his older brother off, head turning from the candle across the room. “It’s not too late to get Renelia back together. With the two of us leading, nothing can stop us.”

“I’ll talk to them about it when I get the chance. Though ti, we’ll need to deal with that girl and get the family back together. Lunela, Deldrach, maybe even Aya. Haelun. The good ones, at least. Rabid dogs… What an assassination attempt.” A grin formed on his brother’s face, and Ailmar swatted in his general direction. Stopped by the sweat dampened bindings. “The Velulaei’onn brothers are back together again. Nothing can stop us!” Ailmar’s grin widened.

The door creaked open, and the two men looked toward it.

The doctor opened the door, and looked down at the struggling ex Archon with a frown. Drool soaked his pillow, and blood dripped from his wrists and ankles from his wild thrashing. Even in the dim room, the robe clad woman could clearly see Ailmar’s bloodshot gaze locked on her. Lips peeled back in a furious snarl. The muscle around the bites had been cut away- but it had been too little, too late.

“Good morning, Ailmar. We found your sons, last night. They said they’d be here by noon.” She got a growl and weak grunt in return, going to set her metal tray on the empty chair beside him. It held a syringe and two small jars, blissfoil and tippen’s root. She picked up the syringe in her gloved hands, beginning to fill it with the tippen’s root. “This should help you feel a bit better, llir. Just try to relax. I’ll put the blissfoil on your neck here.”

All she got in response was mindless snarls and teeth snapping at nothing.

The door opened again, a familiar face once again standing there. “Mal’onn, the doctors said you were ready to go home.” With relative ease the former Archon stood up, and followed along with his brother. The twin Archons, former Mortal Kings and brothers, were finally together again.
