1. Your Character Biography is a bit short. Please include at least 10 sentences. If you don’t know what to add, I recommend thinking more about your character’s backstory. Where are they from, what were their parents like, why are they how they are…?

2. Your Character Biography states that your character isn't "really the best at magic," which would imply that she does know magic. You can't have a character that starts out knowing magic, so please fix this.

3. Your Powergaming Definition is on the right track, though it’s not quite there. Take another look at our Wiki’s definitions for help (linked below).

4. Your Powergaming and Metagaming definitions should both include an example.

5. Please try and keep your application free of spelling/grammar errors. You can use a grammar checker like Grammarly (linked below) for help.

6. Your skin is not up to LotC standards, as it looks very "modern" and out of place in our server. Linked below is the skin archive, where you can find a skin to use.

7. You should include why your character has certain fears, things she likes about herself, and things she dislikes about herself. For example, why did she not grow out of her fear of the dark?

8. Your roleplay scenario needs improvement. You need to have at least one action and one piece of dialogue, and you should write in third person. Additionally, you shouldn't include what your character is thinking.

(This isn't a reason for pending, but just worth noting; high elves are considered adults in a cultural way at age 50, though they physically mature at 18.)

Hey there, unfortunately your application has been denied for the following reasons. Feel free to post a new application anytime, with the following fixes:

1. Your roleplay definition doesn't actually define what roleplay is. You need to explain what it is, rather than what you think of roleplay.

2. This is not a reason for denial, but rather something that should be noted. Elves are physically mature at 18, but culturally considered adults at 50. Feel free to re-apply as a 22 year old elf, this is just something I wanted to let you know of.

3. We do not use Minecraft lore for our server; Nether, piglins, et cetera do not exist. Please feel free to look at our wiki (linked below) if you want to look at the lore.

4. You cannot make up lore (includes historical events, religions, et cetera) and must include 2 lore references in your character biography. That can be an in-game religion, event, location, et cetera.

5. It's fine if your character has a fear of the cold, though you have to have a valid reason. The fear of water due to nearly being drowned is alright, though!

6. You need to have at least one negative character trait. A quirk such as aversion to water or being quiet isn't a negative trait for this purpose.

7. Your character's favorite thing about themselves and least favorite thing about themselves requires you to tell us why they love/hate that thing about themselves.

8. Your character's favorite/least favorite thing about themselves needs to be 2 sentences or longer.

9. Your character's biography needs to be 10 sentences or longer.

10. Your roleplay scenario needs to be just what your character does/says, not what the other character says. Additionally, your roleplay scenario is a bit difficult to read. I recommend you put your character's dialogue in "quotes," all in one line.

11. From what I'm able to gather from your roleplay scenario, you seem to believe dark elves are hated/discriminated against by other people. This isn't the case with almost every character on LotC.

12. Dark elves cannot have white eyes, nor can your character's eye color be changed by events in your character's biography.

13. Your skin needs to be up to standard; namely, the white glowing eyes and the complete lack of face are the problems here. Feel free to check out our skin archives (link below) for skins you can use as-is or for inspiration.

14. Your character cannot arrive at Athera, as it is a destroyed realm--our current realm is Almaris.

15. Again, not a reason for denial, but try to keep your grammar and spelling as high-quality as you can. I suggest you use a grammar/spelling checker such as Grammarly (linked below).

1. Your powergaming definition is too short. Please expand it if you re-apply, I would suggest adding an example!

2. Your character's biography cannot include heavily used cliches--in this case, his village being raided by orcs and having his parents die that way.

3. Your skin needs to be fixed. Your character cannot have glowing eyes/armor, and your skin should be of higher quality. If you need a skin, feel free to check our Skin Archives!

4. Your character cannot have yellow eyes as a human.

5. Your character's fear needs to be something unique, and not a fear most people would have. Most people should be afraid of dragons, considering they are extremely dangerous.

6. Your roleplay scenario needs at least one action, not just dialogue. Additionally, you should only speak/act as your character, not the other character present.

7. The thing that your character dislikes most about himself should be grounded in your character's biography. I'd recommend mentioning why he has these nightmares.

8. Your character's biography lacks lore references. These can include settlement names, events, religions, et cetera.

9. Your character's personality traits/quirks needs to have at least one negative trait. Fear of sharks does not qualify, I'm afraid.
