You need to agree to our server rules.

Your metagaming and powergaming definitions need changed and expanded. For more information on meta/powergaming, check the wiki page.

Your character bio must include at least 2 references to Lord of the Craft’s lore and be at least ten sentences long. To look at lore to reference, have a look at the wiki!

Your physical description should be longer and more detailed.

Your personality traits/quirks should be actual traits. Additionally, you need to have at least one negative trait.

Your character name must be fitting for Lord of the Craft’s fantasy setting. A quick Google search for “fantasy human name generator” can be helpful.

Your Roleplay Scenario must have an actual example of roleplay rather than just one word. This should be multiple pieces of dialogue or action.

The first change you need to make is to your powergaming definition--just little tweaks and an expansion--I suggest in the form of an example!

Next, your character skin should match your physical description as closely as possible. Namely, the elven ears and the eyes--you’re welcome to either edit the skin, find a new one, or check out the skin archives for more skins!

Otherwise, your application is looking great! My contact information is stated above if you have any questions, though you are also more than welcome to ask in the NPD, check the wiki, or ask in #ws too!

Heyo! Welcome to LotC, and thank you for showing interest in applying! However, before your application can be accepted you must make a few changes. If you have any questions please PM me either on Discord (S.D. Ace#0017) or on the forums--however Discord is the fastest way to reach me.

First off, your character skin must be changed to have your skintone be a few shades darker--here’s an example of what a dark elf might look like.

Second, most Hou-zi have very good manner/social skills--if your character were to have these poor social skills, you’d need to explain why.

Finally, the isle of Asul is ancient--unless your character was very, very old, you could not have come from there as it is currently destroyed. You can check the world map, linked at the top of the website, to have a look at places you could visit--or you can visit our wiki.

Hey there! Thank you for your interest in Lord of the Craft--unfortunately your application has been denied. However, you are more than welcome to reapply after you make the following changes to your application! If you’ve any questions or concerns, you are welcome to contact me. I respond quickest at my Discord (S.D. Ace#0017) though you are also able to message me here on the forums if you do not mind the slower response times.

First off, Lord of the Craft handles emotes and character dialogue differently than regular Minecraft. Don’t worry about the formatting in your application too much, just so long as we can tell what’s an action and what’s dialogue in your roleplay scenario and/or examples.

As well, your metagaming and powergaming descriptions are on the right track, but need some adjustments. You can visit the wiki page on Metagaming & Powergaming for more info that can help you write your application!

Since you seem to not be aware, Lord of the Craft is a fantasy setting with its own unique lore, lots of which is not found anywhere else! As such we ask that your application works well with the lore and story of LotC. You can check out the wiki, which is a great source of knowledge, or join the New Player Discord to ask staff and other players for help. Specifically, your skin, character name, roleplay scenario, and character biography must be changed.
Similar to my previous point, your character skin must have better shading and fit within a fantasy setting. You are welcome to pick out a pretty-looking skin from the Skin Archives, curated by the Community Team!

Finally, you must include at least 2 references to Lord of the Craft’s lore in your character’s biography. This can be nearly anything that has happened/exists on the server--events (for example the War of Two Emperors), cultures (for example the dark elves of Asimu’lei have a vastly different culture than the halflings of Brandybrook), or really anything you can think of that exists!

I know that this is a lot of changes to ask for, but unfortunately it’s how Lord of the Craft operates.
