The Owynist Heartlander League

Issued in the 10th day of Horen's Calling

Preamble

There is a spectre haunting Aevos-the spectre of Owynism. Never before has this land seen a realm as righteous and brimming with God’s light as the Holy Pontifical States; and never before has the Holy Pontifical States ever witnessed a realm as pious and upstanding as Ravenmire.  Nefarious and perfidious are the enemies of Canondom, and it is only through God’s guidance that our salvation shall be assured. It is with this mindset that the Owynist Heartlander League has been formed to protect the interests of the true Sons and Daughters of Owyn. Founded by the pious Holy Ser Godefroy of Rhoswood, Knight of the Grail, the OHL shall steer our path towards God’s will. 

Our Platform

• The Owynist Heartlander League shall ensure good relations between the Parliament of Eastminster and the Throne of Saint Daniel.

• The Owynist Heartlander League shall pursue policies dedicated to improving the lives of all pious and God-fearing citizens, through the guidance of the Holy Scrolls.

• The Owynist Heartlander League shall protect the rights of ALL Owynists and Heartlanders within its jurisdiction, whose values most closely align with the Grand Principality of Ravenmire and the thro

• The Owynist Heartlander League shall pursue the policy of Pan-Owynist unity, encouraging diplomatic discussions and agreements with pious foreign realms so the Flame of Owyn may shine across all of Aevos.

• The Owynist Heartlander League shall strengthen relations with fellow vassals underneath the Holy Pontifical States to ensure security around our realm.

• The Owynist Heartlander League shall ensure law and order prevails within the Grand Principality of Ravenmire, empowering the town militia to effectively combat banditry and darkspawn threats.

• The Owynist Heartlander League shall protect the rights of the smallfolk and aristocracy from any infringement of their God-given rights.

• The Owynist Heartlander League shall pass legislation to prevent the spread of Sigismundi perversions and to ensure the preservation of our cultural values within the Grand Principality of Ravenmire.

• The Owynist Heartlander League shall prioritize policy to maximize the production of wheat through the implementation of a grain dole to provide subsistence to all citizens of Earosport, ensuring steady employment to our farmers.

• The Owynist Heartlander League shall pass legislation encouraging the creation of domestic industries, providing further economic opportunities for our citizens and strengthening our domestic currency.

• The Owynist Heartlander League shall pass legislation to fortify the borders of the Grand Principality of Ravenmire, encouraging trade and ensuring safe passage for all citizens.

• The Owynist Heartlander League shall sponsor the creation of a historical society, to better preserve and record the history, culture, and traditions of the Grand Principality of Ravenmire and its vassal lordships, in the hopes of spreading knowledge of our customs abroad.

The speech of the new Quartermaster, Oliver Reye:

“It is the wish of the honourable to have their stories told after they die and it is the duty of the honourable to fulfil that wish. Cedric Johnson was like a father to me and it was his wish that the story of his life be shared with all that are honourable." Oliver took another deep breath, looking at the gathered faces.

"Many of those present today know his story better than I," he continued, "so I shall leave it to you to accomplish this task. Go, spread his name far and wide, celebrate his legacy, drink in his tavern, and keep his flame alive wherever you may go, for you are all honourable."

"Important as the story of one’s life is, I came today to talk to you about the story of Cedric Johnson’s death." Oliver's expression now turned more angry than sad, a fire brewing in his pale, blue eyes. "A few moons ago, my good friend Ylva discovered a hidden cave which we at the time believed to be connected to a necromancer seen by our scribe Aaron on his adventures in the country of Norland. Ylva, Aaron, Roan and I travelled to this cave, and Cedric, dutiful as he was, joined us midway. Venturing into the cave, we found a horror. An undead warlord, known as Jormunharr Ingmornesson, lay entombed inside, a horrible spirit leftover from a wicked soul." Oliver took a break to read the room

The fire in Oliver's eyes had now burst it’s confines, the anger and betrayal clearly evident on his face. Looking around the room, Oliver continued his story. "Cedric, as honourable as he was inflamed by this abhorrent suggestion, refused in the name of Rhosmark. Thus, the worm cast a curse on him and us all who entered the cave. This was the curse that claimed the life of my father, your friend, your mentor, your leader." Oliver was a canvas of emotion at this point, equal parts angry and tearing up. Anyone present would be able to tell that there were greater feelings than just grief present in his expression.

Oliver gestured dramatically to Cedric's body. "In the name of my gods and the gods of Sir Cedric Johnson, I vow to avenge his murder and send this beast back into the deepest pits of hell and I implore anyone honourable to join me in my quest!"

Sir Cedric Johnson, quartermaster of the Rhosmark, recently passed to Owyn’s garden, a shining example of chivalry and kindness. A true knight. As his successor I, on the behalf of His Highness Prince Richard II, formally invite the goodfolk of Ravenmire, and others, to attend his funeral, to be held in the cathedral of Leonustadt. 

I trust those who can make it will attend and pay their respects to a great man, taken from us too soon.

Her Royal Highness, Princess Maddalene Romula of the Rhosmark, cordially extends her most gracious invitations to attend the grand celebration of her eighteenth name day, to be held on the 12th of Sun’s Smile, 1987. The festivities shall commence within the feast halls of Castle Helvian which shall be transformed into a breathtaking spectacle of elegance, adorned with opulent blue banners, delicate draperies, and floral arrangements, all meticulously chosen to reflect the Princess’s most cherished colour.  Guests are kindly requested to also adorn themselves in shades of blue.

THE BIRTHDAY FEAST

The celebration promises to be a splendid affair, beginning with a lavish birthday feast, where attendees will have the honour of presenting gifts to Her Royal Highness, and partaking in the ceremonial cutting of a magnificent birthday cake.

MUSICAL MERRIMENT

Guests are warmly encouraged to mingle and delight in a dance or two within the grand hall, where the atmosphere will be alive with the joy of celebration. Our talented musicians will serenade the evening with a selection of the Princess’s most beloved melodies, creating an enchanting ambiance for all to enjoy.

A CONTEST OF CERULEAN

Finally, Princess Maddalene herself shall graciously preside over an outfit contest, celebrating the artistry and elegance of guests adorned in shades of blue. There will be separate competitions for the gentlemen and the ladies, each judged by the discerning eye of the Princess herself. The most captivating ensemble in each category will be awarded a prize of 50 mina.

Your presence would be a delightful addition to this momentous occasion, as we commemorate the coming of age of our beloved Princess Maddalene.

By this writ, know that a LEGALLY DISTINGUISHBLE STATE OF WAR now exists between the Most Holy Sanctuary of Lemonhill the sour Marchlands of Stassion, under the following stipulations, and beholden to the following casus-belli so as to be in accordance with the principles of just and holy war;

Within the understanding of the potential violations of oaths sworn in the presence of sacred artifacts of Saint Alexander of Furnestock between King-John-Steward-Aaun and Lord-Leonus-Sour-Stassion that neither one nor other shall pursue in vengeance retribution for the death of King Edmund, nor the Expulsion (1953), it is apparent to one Bishop (Emertius) Callahan Limon-in-Golus that it is increasingly untenable for the Righteous of Lemonhill to wage war under the clauses put forth by the Kingdom of Aaun in their conflict against Stassion. 

God's Law is clear, whom-so-ever should break an oath, shall break their neck. While it has not yet been determined, following the oath sworn in 1953, whether it is Richard-Stassion or John-Aaun that has violated their oath to seek no revenge, we fear that the consequences of waging war with the explicit intention of avenging King Edmund poses a great risk to the lives to those who fight for Lemonhill in their legally distinct conflict in the eyes of God.

FOR HORRIFIC VIOLATIONS OF ARCHITECTURAL STANDARDS RESULTING IN GRAVE OFFENSE UNTO THE EYES AND SCARIFICATION OF GOD'S BRAVEOS,

Let war come unto the Marchlands of Stassion to the ends of architectural rectification, satisfaction of dishonor unto the eyes, and the repair of God's Green Braevos through the restoration of the marshes and raising of tower and steeple pleasing to God, or otherwise through the sanctification of a new wagon parkinglot for the Monastery of the Sacred Heart upon Lemon Hill, in the name of Our Lady Lorina.

FOR VIOLATIONS OF THE SACRED PEACE OF THE ENTITLED CHURCH-TERRITORY OF LEMONHILL BY WAY OF WANTON AGGRESSION, 

Let WAR come unto the Marchlands of Stassion to the ends of a satisfaction for the violations of the sacred peace of the Lemonite, which shall be so satisfied in the wake of the fully willing consumption of no less than FOUR DOZEN (40, FOURTY) LEMONHILL FRUITS, that their string may humble the Lord Stassion who has permitted this to be.

Let the charge of conducting this war fall upon chiefly Holy Sir Morgan St. Caius of Angren Helvetz Innumerable, Senescallus Citrus, conducted and sworn hitherto to this service by the Lemon Priest Callahan (Bishop Limon-in-Golus), pursuant to the terms of satisfaction detailed hereby. 

May it please God to see that we fear His righteous judgement, and respect so dearly His law, that we may burden ourselves in this way for the mere fear of offense. May peace come quickly in resolution to this conflict that has come to be. May God break the neck of whom-so-ever has broken the oaths sworn upon His sacred things. 

Saint Robert intercede for us, and 'Lo, as he had said it; "Death to Freebuild." As this Saint has said it, guarded safely now in heaven, may we also join him in his footsteps and force all floating-abominations down again to Earth where they belong and cleanse this land of all scar and blemish.

The winds howled mournfully across the desolate landscape as Princess Ottavia of Stassion surveyed the aftermath of the devastating defeat. The once-proud banners of Stassion now lay trampled in the mud, the castle walls scorched from the fires of war. Ottavia's heart weighed heavy with grief and anger, but she refused to let despair consume her.

As Ottavia and the remnants of her principality scoured the battlefield for survivors, the glow of victory belonged to the usurper king of Aaun. The invaders had claimed the Marchlands, leaving Ottavia's people shattered and her home in ruins. Yet, the fire in Ottavia's eyes refused to be extinguished. 

Among the fallen Aaunite soldiers lay a wounded man, his breaths shallow and labored. Ottavia, fueled by a mixture of rage and determination, approached the enemy soldier. His plea for mercy fell on deaf ears as Ottavia drove her sword through him once more. Nearby, the fallen banner of Aaun, adorned with a white rose, lay stained with the blood of the fallen. Ottavia observed as the crimson river flowed towards the banner, transforming the once-white rose into a haunting shade of red. She crouched down, picking up the emblem that now bore witness to the bloodshed.

Turning to her remaining people, Ottavia raised the blood-stained banner high. Her voice rang out with defiance, "Stassion remains independent, and independent it will stay. You stood here with me today, reminding everyone that Marchlanders cannot be cowed by fear, bullied by force, or bought by any tyrant king."

She continued, addressing the loss of their homeland, "While we may have lost the Marchlands, we will march forth to our allies and rebuild. They may spill our blood, but they will never take our heritage or our freedom."

With those words, Ottavia handed the blood-soaked banner to her husband, Richard, who bore the weight of their defeat on his wounded shoulders. Mounting her horse, Ottavia cast a final, sorrowful glance at the charred ruins of Stassion, the children's only inheritance. Yet, her resolve remained unbroken.

With a determined spirit, she turned her stallion around and led her people away from the Marchlands of Stassion. "Marchlanders,  we leave the Marchlands of Stassion, taking our name, heritage, and title with us," Ottavia declared as she tightened her grip on the reins, kicking her horse forth. The remnants of Stassion, with heads held high, rode away from the smoldering ruins. Ottavia's words echoed in the wind:

"Stassions never die."

Please, let those titles bound uniquely to the past House Sarkozic be destroyed for your own sake. To harbor them shall only invite hauntings of kvetching specters, or even worse aspiring realpolitik courtiers seeking to wear the legacy of the past like a coat made from a carcass’ skin. Particularly, the titles of Renzfeld, and Eastcliffe are requested to be put into abeyance. The former was abandoned by its own founders for Helena (and many may recount the infamy now associated with Lord Protector Adrian Leopold Orel, its founder), and the latter was the birthplace of Adria. Neither have any relevance to your realm nor culture, why do you write them in your titles?

However, I would advise you to let it fall into abeyance less the surprise appearance of the last descendant of Roswell appears, or anyone of particularly great merit. A RIPE HARVEST

Baldwin awoke within the bushes just down the road of Valdev, a pen of animals not awfully far from him, before then immediately recalling the urge to slumber like no other that had overcome himself hours before. The Stassionite immediately began to free himself from the bush, his eyes rapidly blinking as he tried to force himself from his half-awaken daze, stumbling out of the bush before then rounding the corner of the animal pen, oblivious of those who awaited him..

“Halt in the name of King Aleksander!” - “Halt!” -“Hold it right there!”

Men mounted upon steeds shouted, their Golden Hussar and Brotherhood of Saint Karl armor shimmering with the light that poured in between the leaves from the trees above. The men quickly charged their horses forth, gathering around him with blades drawn and shields raised, only providence could save the man now. The Knight’s hands quickly rose over his head, all possible ways of escape having been cut off, an “Oh my-” escaping his lips as his pallid blue hues eyed the blades at his waist, but it was a vein cause. “Good day!” The Knight said as his countenance raised toward a Ruthern man who had called out to him, “Prevja again,” to which Baldwin quickly remarked without a thump of his heart, “Greetings again good man,” Though it was clear the Ruthern’s comrades were not as keen to chit-chat, as they barked at him to drop his weapons, to which he obliged. Within mere moments of being stopped, Sir Baldwin found himself bound and hauled away to the gallows of Valdev. 

Baldwin sat there beside the blood stained gallows, his lips harshly pressed together and his gaze rose to the descending flakes of snow. Before the man could even take a moment to ponder, then came a voice from one of the Golden Hussars, Otto Ludovar, “As the Lord Speaker and Jovenaar of the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska, I sentence you to death by firing squad…” Baldwin then froze, his breathing coming to a halt and his mind beginning to race as his cruel and brutal fate was then revealed to him.“..You will be offered last rights-” Baldwin remained silent, yet a faint smile remained as he gave a solemn nod, his lips then cracking open to make a final request, “Might I make a final request?” - “What is it?”- “Allow me to write a final letter, might you? I may carry my blade in opposition, though might my final thoughts and thanksgivings be sent to those who are due them?” The bitter cold air then grew even more frigid as the Ludovar went to answer, “A soldier knows their fate when they step onto the battlefield.. Father, if you would.” Father Beaumont then stepped near to Baldwin as a voice cried, “BROTHERS! LINE UP!” followed by an, "AI!” A singular tear then formed in Baldwin’s eye as his countenance rose upward to the skies above, he then began to murmur, none hearing his words other than himself and the Father at his side. “This day, my blood shall join my brethren who went on before me.. May my life not be spent in vain, and let there be a ripe harvest..” The Priest then retrieved a vial of holy water, tracing the lorraine upon his chest. A Ruthern man's voice then carried upon the wind, “A bandit, rather.” This was then followed by further accusations, “He is a bandit!” Baldwin endured the slander, his eyes coming to a close, up until one uttered, “He came here to kill our women and children..” Baldwin’s features then distorted into disgust, as the Father began to grant him his rites, “Through this Holy anointing may the Creator in His love and mercy help you. May GOD who frees you from sin save you and raise you up in the Seven Skies.  He patted the shoulder of the man, before speaking once again.  “Do you have anything to confess?” Baldwin then softly muttered with what could only be described as grief, for these men knew him not for the man he was, though viewed him as but a bandit to be discarded, “I would never raise a blade against a woman nor a child... Father, this alone do I confess..” Baldwin then leaned forward to the Father, whispering something quietly to him, to which he responded, “Very well. Then may GOD bless you and may He make His face shine unto you, and be gracious to you. May He lift up His face unto you, and give to you peace.” The Father then quickly rushed away as the men retrieved their arrows, beginning to ready their bows.. Baldwin’s gaze once again rose to the skies above as he donned a smile upon his lips, six soft words escaping him as arrows began to soar through the frigid air,

“Let there be… a ripe harvest.”

This celebration is purposefully held to emphasize the importance of protecting culture and standing together against the tyrannical forces of the Covenant. The House of Dresnay has now entered a period of grievance, the recent events in this saints week have brought great distress to the Baron and his Siblings. Their Mére, Marie Capucine has officially passed away. Over time she had been ill though hiding it from her enfants out of concern for their emotions. She wanted to see them happy and worry-free before her passing and she was granted that by GOD.

The Family had called a dinner as they typically would any other month. Gathering their entire family including the Blanchets, Maries family before she wed… Everything appeared to be fine until she began a spurt of coughing.. blood was splattered onto the napkin she had coughed into. This had been a recent occurring thing when she coughed as of late. She attempted to explain to the group she was fine and it was merely wine that was left lingering in her mouth. Though they hardly believed it they seemed quite weary trying their best to continue on the dinner.

Her lungs had been failing her, though tonight seemed to be the night they would officially give out. Marie appeared fine for a few seconds after her coughing… She blinked slowly at the group in as a small smile made its way onto her face. Then Suddenly she collapsed onto the table, her children rushing to her side in a panic tears streaming down their cheeks. She gently pulled them in for one last hug, placing a kiss on their foreheads. Her sons then took her hands sobbing claiming that they could call for the doctor. She declined “It is mon time, Je shall meet tu Père.. Tu all shall do great things in life, and protect each other. For mon sake..” Taking her last breaths that night as she gently held her sons one last time… Her grip grew weak as her eyes shut now she took her eternal rest. Ascending to the Heavens to reunite with her Husband Tristand I.

In the tranquil embrace of Stassion's expansive gardens, where the fragrant blooms whispered secrets in the gentle breeze, a clandestine union unfolded. Tristand Dresnay, found himself under the scrutiny of Henri Frederik, his dearest friend and brother in arms. 

The hushed whispers of anticipation mingled with the soft rustling of leaves as Tristand stood before Henri, seeking his blessing for a union that was as unexpected. Eleanore, Henri's cherished sister, adorned in an elegant gown that swirled around her, stood beside Tristand. Her features radiated a mix of emotions, joy, apprehension, and an unspoken adoration for the man who stood by her side.

 With a subtle nod from Henri, the arrangement was sealed. And thus was their union sanctioned by the benevolence of the House de Falstaff beneath the watchful gaze of GOD, as Tristand and Eleanore embarked on a path paved with the weight of their affections and noble responsibilities.

TO THE GOOD FOLK OF THE HEARTLANDS,

In spite of the efforts of those who forged the Heartland Accords, it seems the Heartlands have yet again been plunged into turmoil. Despite the weakness which plagued their armies and  which ails their cities, the moves of the Petran Crown against those who were once considered their allies have only grown bolder since leaving our binding alliance. Just earlier this Saint’s Day, three of the men of Stassion ventured into the Petran Capital city of Vallagne, presumably to see what festivities the otherwise lifeless capital might have to offer. Despite having opened the gates of Vallagne to allow the men of Stassion passage into the city, a group of Petran Knights apprehended the party shortly thereafter without provocation, violently taking Sir Tristand Dresnay, the Baron of Valcour, for interrogation. Though Sir Tristand answered their various unwarranted questions honestly and truthfully, the knights of Petra were unconvinced of his good intentions and sought to make an example of the man. Those barbarians they call knights first considered taking his head as tribute, but reason prevailed as they recognized the folly of such a bold action without the backing of a competent and well organized army to support their stupidity. Thus did the Knights of Petra settle to instead break the man’s hand, with the intention of sending a message to the March of Stassion. What these actions show is that what they did was;

UNJUSTIFIED. 

This message was received and answered by the men of the March in full. With a swift response, the March sent out scouts, in search of any of the so-called ‘powerful’ nobles of Petra, only to find a member of the von Theonus’ family. The man was unknown to many, seeing as the family breeds faster than rabbits. All the same, the men of Stassion brought the man with the same gesture as the Petrans had allowed Sir Tristan and his men into the city of Petra. While the Theonus lay in our halls, enjoying the liquor drank by the pissants, our guests from Veletz arrived. Sir Gaspard and his party entered the room and questioned the Petran noble’s presence. Upon providing the men with the answers they sought, there was but one remaining question— why does the noble still live. The response—“We waited for an audience”. And with it one less Petran noble lived. What these actions show is what we did was;

The Halls of the Barony of Montfort are filled with another sound of cries and joyous tears these past Saint Days. The Baroness-Consort of Montfort proclaimed as she and the Baron of Montfort welcomed their wonderful baby boy, Lothar Godfrey, healthy and fully grown for a newborn age of 0.
His name was decided based upon the Saints, his First name being chosen by his Mother, Lothar The Patron Saint of the Lorraine Cross. A Saint the Baroness-Consort respected when she was much younger as she indeed had a Lorraine of her own.

Though after the birth The Baroness locked herself in a room to recuperate from the stress of the Pregnancy. Nonetheless The Baron welcomes those who wished to visit the Baby Temesch to come do so the birth announcement had been postponed to give our Baroness a bit more time to recuperate now that she is mentally and physically prepared visits may occur.

A Scholar within the Aster Courts registered as a licensed mage within Stassion. The Grand Mage serves as not only an advisor but also is tasked with Studying and Furthering their knowledge even whilst within their position. They are also to oversee any other mages within the Aster Court, and other forms of Magics that shall proceed within the Margraviate. Whilst also keeping up with the logs of Magic and who is permitted to practice magic within the walls of Stassion.

Every Mère takes pride upon her enfants as they grow and prosper, they seek to protect them no matter what entails this sad experience we have bestowed the name life to. Every Saints day as Je wander the streets Je see those being attacked or taken away from their rightful posts. Mon Ange fils, Altair Côté Dresnay was attacked by these rather large ignorant barbaric beings I implore you to closely monitor your nations and enfants as they wander these dangerous rempli de saleté as they are no place to merely wander. They shall be the reason Je lose my mind day by day another enfant is either taken from my grasps or gravely injured. Je am growing tired of my bébés coming home with such injuries.

As a Mère I shall take this upon my own hands, and see to it be dealt with if the ones who harmed mon fils feel confident enough to come forward and admit to your wrong-doings. Je shall possibly become merciful and only remove merely an arm or finger. Though if tu choose to hide and continue this cowardice beahvior Je shall see to it tu meet your ends.

These past Saint Months the Barony of Montfort was filled with all sorts of new joy, and sobs… A blessing from the Heavens the Baroness-Consort of Montfort proclaimed as she and the Baron of Montfort welcomed their wonderful baby boy, Mark Anthony, healthy and fully grown for a newborn age of 0.

His First name is Mark, insinuating he is to make his Mark on history and our lands to benefit both the House and Himself. His middle name. Anthony in honor of his father, someone who shall grow to be rather important in his life and guide him through the trenches of this shallow age. Their child appeared to take after their Novellen Red hair and his father’s eyes of grey. The Barony of Montfort holds hope and continues to pray for another child in the coming years. The Baron and Baroness-Consort welcome their families to come visit and meet their newfound joy. No harm shall come to them in the lands they live in. The grand halls of the margrave's castle echoed with the hushed whispers of anticipation as Ottavia, the margrave's wife, ascended the stairs to her chambers. Guided by her loyal ladies, Ottavia's steps were steady, her expression calm. She was no stranger to the pains and joys of childbirth, having done this four times before. However, fate had chosen this occasion to cast a shadow over the joyous event. As the baby took its first breaths, a subtle shift occurred, a dark omen that would soon reveal itself as a fever. In the aftermath of the birth, Ottavia and the newborn found themselves ensnared by the cruel grasp of illness.
 

TO OUR FRIENDS OF THE REALM,

On the 1st of Sigismunds End in the year of our lord 1950, The Margravine of Stassion went into labor. While the castle staff were accustomed to this routine, Complications arose, resulting in a fever to take hold of Her Highness and the baby. House Temesch would like to announce the betrothal between Baron Anthony Temesch and Her Ladyship Clementine d’Arkent. This pair have been rather familiar with each other for nearly half a decade now and therefore shall wish to quickly be united in matrimony. The proposal was given within the audience of the Lady d’Arkent’s mother and eldest brother.

1. THE CEREMONY

All guests are instructed to meet upon the square of Fredericksburg; the town held upon by House Stassion- where they shall be instructed the chapel. The procession shall occur once everyone has settled within. Both the bride and groom shall be guided to their places so the ceremony can commence. 

2. THE FEAST

Following the exchanging of vows, House Stassion has graciously allowed House Temesch to hold festivities within their home and to indulge in a multitude of drinking festivities. The House of Stassion welcomes new friends seeking to begin anew to the Western Marches, and through much talks and discussion it was made apparent of the good nature of their arrival. Thus as a result of these deliberations, the March of Stassion saw the great prospect of the House of Temesch being granted status and elevated as peers of the March. For they have exceeded our expectations and embrace our core ideals of Honor, Loyalty, and Piety. With such by the power vested unto us by GOD and The Charter we do raise the House of Temesch, with the title of The Barony of Montfort.

Their Duties are as follows,

With our culture and beliefs that have been followed throughout the times, The House of Temesch from here on will bear the titles as Baron of Montfort in perpetuity. With the bearing of such titles, the House of Temesch is delegated the responsibilities of a noble under the March of Stassion and with it, the countless responsibilities that must be performed with it. The Baron must perform in upholding their duties within Stassion and the Western Marches as a whole. 

With the House of Temesch’s oath of fealty spoken, his oath held in perpetuity, the title shall pass down to the Baron and his legitimate issue and or designated heirs.

TO THE GOOD FOLK OF THE HEARTLANDS,

The unfortunate news of the recent murder of Louis Dresnay, a teenager, a brother, a son, a member of Stassion, a citizen of Aaun. The fact that a teenager entered Haense with no threats, physical nor verbal but as a simple young man to attend the Haense Court with a childish joke as children do. To only be then murdered by the weak-minded King of Haense. The same King who proclaims to be a pious and well-worth King, to slaughter a child in the midst of his barren court and then blame his murder on a possible plot from Heartlanders.

But let it be known, this act of unjust violence will not go unnoticed nor will it be forgotten so easily as it is done within the lands off the Highlanders. Louis was not just a member of Stassion but friends among many within the Heartlands, from our neighbors in Drusco to the city of Winburgh and more. As a teenager would never be a threat to those with proper thinking and common sense. There seems to be a lack of proper thinking and common sense within Haense.

If our hate must stray away from the degenerates of Balian to the child-murderers of Haense, then so be it. Stassion will not stoop to the levels of killing women or children, but understand this clearly, and individuals who defend the Kingdom of Haense let it be through allegiances or through the bearing of their tabards or weapons will face justly revenge.

TO OUR FRIENDS OF THE REALM NEAR OR FAR,

For some years now, the Margrave’s health has waned due to a bout of an unidentifiable virus or some other cause aiming to do him harm, but in recent Saint’s Days his mind and body have been reinvigorated. As days followed, his health slowly increasing, the Margrave began to leave his chambers and meander the halls of Castle Aurelian accompanied by his wife and children, enjoying their presence as his health improved without the burdens of leadership. In times away from them as the moon rose high above the horizon, his time was spent being caught up in the happenings of the world by his council whether he summoned them or not. 

It would be on the 6th of Godfey’s Triumph, 1947 that the Margrave of Stassion declared to his Household, Council, and People that his health be fully restored. Margrave Richard went on to state that he would be retaking the reins of leadership as he was sound in body and soul. As such it is formally decreed by this missive, any form of regency in the lands of the March of Stassion has ended and the Margrave is restored to his station in full. May GOD and Exalted Owyn guide us onwards on our path of righteousness and redemption in our quest to build anew.
