His eyes darted to different places that were under imperial control but yet to be settled. He finally found Northmarch. It said it was "open to settlers and claimants". Mikhail would quickly look upon his musty old house in the Krajian capital, making haste to pack up his things, before setting off. He would leave a few letters around the empire, mostly in the capitals of the more northern provinces, asking for any brave men of northern origin to join him. He envisioned a city of power, a city worthy of a king to govern; a city that he would rule. All who accompany it will be branded as brigands, outlaws, and thieves, who seek to place themselves before their Empire, and will be dealt with appropriately."
