Your application has unfortunately been denied at this time due to Your 24 Hours expiring, though here are the changes that would need to be made: In your Power-Gaming definition, you should clarify your answer and make it a bit more clear that you understand. In your Character Bio, you used actual Lord of the Rings lore, LOTC (Lord of the Craft) is completely separate from lord of the rings, therefor it has completely different lore. You should read up more on what the server is about to fix the bio. In your Physical Description, you said that your character is 8.5ft. Elves can’t grow up to that tall. In your Personality Traits, you mentioned Sauron again, which isn’t in LOTC lore. Also you said he has knowledge of all magics, you can’t start off with having knowledge or being capable of magic, you have to gain things like that through RP. After correcting the above things, you may reapply at any time. If you have any questions, please send me a message on Discord Nozgoth#5616 , and I recommend you join the New Player Discord using the following invite: https://discord.gg/Zr4EpNa

  6. A pale cloaked figure leans against a wall in a dark alley, he adjusts his amethyst encrusted circlet before speaking, “Hmm, this is very interesting...” he’d pause for a moment “It appears someone has beat me to it”.
  7. Thanks for the feed back, I’m thinking of changing it into a earth evocation feat maybe? I’m not sure
  8. Warms my heart, thanks bro. Also it seems pretty offensive, just taking the dump on what i’ve spent time and effort into, maybe next time try being a bit more thoughtful before you let you voice run wild ? Hey, ill do my best to clear up a few things in the explanation section. Thanks for the feedback
  9. Sandsmithing The Ability to Forge Out of Sand Since the need of armor, tools and weapons; The art known as Sandsmithing has been around. No regular blacksmith or forge worker has the ability to create such wonders only using sand, materials and minerals alike. Sand originally comes from the weathering and pulverization of rocks over an immense period of time, sandsmithing is the idea of evoking the rocks and minerals from sand to create something. <An example of a khopesh forged from sand> Explanation Material/Tool/Surrounding Requirements to Sandsmith: Adequate inventory of sands, minerals and other rocks in the form of grain. Flat platform/surface, usually a table. Clean and fresh water source, whether it be in a pond or a bucket. Necessary tools used to work with materials. Using the magic of sandsmithing you are essentially taking advantage of the properties from the grains of sand depending on what material you want to create the item with. You have to cast the correct spells in the correct order to come out with an actual solid object instead of the sand falling apart or the sandstone just crumbling. After finishing the spells, there are still many things you can do to the item, sharpening, embroidering, enchanting are just a few of the many options you have when sandsmithing. You can sandsmith pretty much anything that you can forge, this includes weapons, bows, jewelry, tools and armor. This is a single-slot magic. The Teacher must have a valid TA in order to teach The Student must have a valid MA in order to learn Spells of Sandsmithing (In order) Evoke Elements [Non-Combat] The most crucial spell required to sandsmith, it's the ability to virtually undo the progress of weathering, erosion and pulverization on the sand. After casting this spell on the sand, the sand hardens into a crumbly, multicolored block of sand and minerals. Usually appearing a de-saturated red, the regular yellow and white sand color, then finally an iron, black or silver color depending on which materials were most present in the bunch of sand. After casting the spell, the sand will slowly start to form together and change form, taking a few minutes before finishing. Sand Bathe [Non-Combat] After casting evoke sand, you must carefully douse the sand in water, without casting the spell this would turn it into an unuseable wet sand substance, though if you cast the spell it will wash off all of the extra bits of sand while at the same time making the block a lot less crumbly and more solidified. It is recommended to carve the object out right after casting this spell. Sand Sculpt [Non-Combat] The third required spell to forge a basic sand-creation, this one finalizes the block into a strong sand-metal material, while still allowing it to be, sharpened or shaped without ease though. After casting, the block of sand would slowly materialize into a shiny, yellowish metal, or a yellowish stone depending on what type of sand you chose to use. This would be the finalization of the blade, though there are still a few more intermediate things that can be done. Strengthen Sand [Combat/Non-Combat] This spell can do anything from strengthen your sandsmithed blade in the heat of a battle, or allow your sandsmithed saw to chop through a tree with much more ease! It strengthens the properties of your sand items, causing them to have a pale glow. The effects of the strengthening will make it more durable, lighter, faster, and sharper. There is a way to make this a permanent effect on your sand weapons or tools, though the effects are lessened. Sand Imbue [Non-Combat] This spell is completely optional, and only recommended for more seasoned sandsmiths. You can take a normal forged item, made from any material and essentially infuse it with sandsmiths sand. You must place sand on top of the item before casting. After casting, the sand will liquify and drip downward into the item, disappearing and covering the item in a sandy tint and also strengthening it. Redlines Please listen to all of the red lines for each respective spell. This is not the be-all, end-all of weapons, its very much possible to lose a fight using one of these weapons to someone using a normal iron weapon, sandsmithed weapons barely have an advantage in a fight, it's mainly just the properties and rarity of the weapons material which makes it better. You can’t mass produce and sell sandsmithed weapons or items, they are meant to be unique. You can only use your sandsmithing ability twice an irl day, or three times if you make all small items like jewelry. [IMPORTANT] Strengthen Sand may only be casted once every 5 irl hours! The tier you are on does not change this! Tier Progression Tier One Evoke Elements, Sand Bathe and Sand Sculpt can be learned The abilities are a lot more draining and take more time Likely only able to use it once a day Tier Two Evoke Elements, Sand Bathe and Sand Sculpt are a lot more efficient Likely able to use them about 2-3 times a day Tier Three Learns Strengthen Sand and Sand Imbue Strengthen Sand and Sand Imbue are quite inefficient and draining Evoke Elements, Sand Bathe and Sand Sculpt are a lot more efficient Likely able to use them about 2-3 times a day Tier Four Strengthen Sand, Sand Imbue, Evoke Elements, Sand Bathe and Sand Sculpt are their maximum efficiency Able to use everything 3-4 times a day OOC Explanation I felt the need for a more in-depth way to create items and weapons. Rarity and special weapons have been lacking recently and no real way for something to be rare or special other than if its gained from an event and has a staff team signature on it. Also now there could be more diverse weapons as well. Finally, most magics are about combat and things like that, this one would be a more passive magic. CITATION The One and Only, Nozgoth Note: I am working on a guide + a material lore for what the sand-metal actually is! Both will be linked in here once complete.

  14. Nozgoth’s Emotions and Lying RP Guide! (Credit to Praetor, Lion and Draeris) Reasons for this guide, and reasons you should improve your emotions rp! -A very important reason is that it’s always easier to continue Roleplay, and feel more immersed into it when you know what the other is doing, how the other is looking and how they are reacting to what has happened, or what you are saying. -Secondly, if nobody ever displays emotions or any reaction apart from talking when you roleplay, you can’t know how to react yourself to how the other is reacting, or you might not know how to continue your own actions because you don’t know how the character feels! -Without emotions, RP can feel very bland, I personally have some difficulty continuing RP without them, since I don’t really know what to say sometimes. Contents! React! Movement! Opportunities and Inconveniences! Fill! Body Language! Disclaimer! This mostly applies to everyday rp, not combat rp or fighting. Step 1: React to What People Say! Don’t just answer back with speech, you can show physical emotions like cracking a smile, showing a glare, maybe even throw up your hands as if you got offended! If someone insults you at the family dinner, you shouldn’t merely insult them back or say “Hey! Stop that right now!”, instead try: Nozgoth’s face flushed with anger as he gives a dirty glare, raising his eyebrows to the man across the table “If you think that, then we can take it outside and settle this like real men!”, The mali’fenn would then storm out of the humble dinner scene. Step 2: Show Movement! In real life, you don’t stay perfectly still like a statue during a conversation, on top of step 1, you should show some movement, it doesn’t have to be dramatic but it depends on the situation. If you are in a normal conversation, try emoting a yawn, stretching, fidgeting with your fingers or the surroundings, just simple things like that every once in a while. There are various ways to implement movement into your rp, maybe you are a general discussing a pressing matter with your soldiers, you can pace back and forth in the room, trying to make a solution. Also, movement can be as simple as gesturing your hands while speaking, Just make sure it has a purpose and makes sense. Step 3: Allow Opportunities and Inconveniences for Emotions to be Had! For your character to truly have interesting emotions, you have to allow things to happen to your character. Maybe a snake nips them on the leg while adventuring, maybe they stub their toe on the coffee table, and it doesn’t always have to be negative, they could find that their bruise healed from a week ago. Just create unique opportunities for emotions to be had! Step 4: Fill the Entire Conversation! Try not to add one large paragraph of emotes at the beginning of a conversation, then have no emotes towards the end. Spread your emotes out, and have a purposeful emotion for each time you press enter. The rp will dry-out if you get lazy and stop emoting towards the middle or the end. Although, this doesn’t mean you have to write entire paragraphs each time, keep it compact but meaningful. Step 5: Show Body Language! (Very Complex, so split into sub-steps) Sub-step 1: Anger, it can be shown in many ways, here are a few. Balling the fists Crossing arms tightly Clenching fists A tight-lipped smile Clenched teeth Rp Examples! *Rolf clenches his teeth as he protests to John "Don't bring my mother into this, fool!"* *John balls his fist, rolling up his sleeves "Your mother works in that brothel!"* Sub-step 2: Attraction, attraction in another person is a trickier thing to convey, here are some examples to help you. Feet Pointed Towards the Person Long eye-contact Teasing Leaning forwards Batting eyes Smiling *Nozgoth looks to the lady sitting across from him, establishing eye-contact for a few seconds before leaning in and smirking, “Ha, ha, ha”, he would be mimicking her laugh from earlier* Sub-step 3: Lying, this is also a tricky one to accomplish, but once done right it can be effective. Covering their mouth, like a shhh gesture, or the may just cover their mouth completely Touching the nose, or below the nose, often a quick, merely noticeable gesture. Rubbing their eyes (mostly men) Scratching the neck Staring into someone's eyes (for some reason, people think others are lying when they are not looking in the face, in fact- that is not true- when people lie, they often want to see the reaction to the lie, to make sure they are safe) Sped up talking Fidgeting Twitching How to remember: Think R.M.O.F.B.! (Official Slogan by Nozgoth) React! Movement! Opportunities and Inconveniences! Fill! Body Language! Made by Nozgoth (Credit to Praetor, Lion and Draeris)

Your application has unfourtunately been denied at this time due to 24 hours up!, though here are the changes that would need to be made: In your Character Biography, you stated that she was apart of a noble family, she can’t be apart of a noble family unless you get permission from one of the existing families in LOTC. Also, you can’t start off knowing magic of any kind, you must gain magic and knowledge of it through means of RP. Finally, you must include 2 LOTC lore references, this can be the name of a city, a specific animal or religion, it can pretty much be anything within LOTC lore. After correcting the above things, you may reapply at any time. If you have any questions, please send me a message on Discord ( Nozgoth#5616 ), and I recommend you join the New Player Discord using the following invite: https://discord.gg/Zr4EpNa

Your application has been put on pending as there are changes needing to be made before you may be accepted, as follows: Your skin looks nice, though it doesnt fit in LOTC. Skins on lotc usually look realistic and a lot less modern, also since you are a snow elf you may want to make his hair a bit paler. Here are some skins you are welcome to use, or take inspiration from. https://sites.google.com/view/skinarchive/home Also, in the new player discord for LOTC you can request for someone to make you a skin free of charge! If you do not make these changes within 24 hours, your application will be denied.
