Next, Evindal is interested in discovering some things of the past and witnessing the rest of the realm, whether it be dangerous or not. Finally, this would be the perfect break from the normal old arcas rp and it would be a really great turn of events to be apart of. What Skills Can You Bring?: OOC: team player, good person, not toxic etc. IC: Evindal is a strong fighter with lots of experience and a lifetime of battles and tragedies. Finally, Evindal is born a fighter being a strong, battle hardened snow elf with a passion for his craft – also he is a tailor as a part time job so that could maybe help.

Athri'div-ciw <===> Daemon of Promise and Boons Two sides divided, an eternal conflict… Once upon a time, a king in yellow sat atop his throne in a seemingly endless expanse of water. A lonely eternity of awaiting for something… anything to happen. At least it was, until the sun arrived - and with the sun, came shadows… darkness. Light began to wash over the figure in yellow, until it met the shadows which stopped it halfway across the throne. Then as night came, the shadows would chase away the light and during the day, the light would meet the shadows halfway. The bored king, so fascinated between the war of light against dark began to take an interest. Each side tried to convince him, ask him for aid in the battle - he could not choose. Should he help light? Should he help dark? Eventually he was so split between choosing who to give his boon to, half of him began to recede into darkness, while the other half turned to the light. Each side was granted equal boons and promises, for example the dark was gifted methods of concealment and the light were given pride. This would become Athri'div-ciw’s eternal purpose. Giving his boon to each side, keeping the conflict balanced. His form changed, tinting half of him white and the other half black. Eventually, the king in yellow grew tired of giving away his power with nothing in return. This is where he invented promise, an assurance of act - though it had one flaw, it was a declaration that could be broken. Athri'div-ciw would begin to make his followers and descendants promise him things for his boon. The main promise was for dark and light to worship in. Everything was going well, until one day, the humans learned they could further their greed. They learned that they could break their promise yet still gain his boon. For a time, Athri'div-ciw was not aware of this until he felt a surge. The light around him began to flicker away, as the forces of light slowly stopped worshipping him. Word spread amongst the descendants that promises may be broken. Rage and anguish filled the mind of the king in yellow, cracks in his endless ocean began to form and with it came massive waves. Capable of destroying everything in their path - Tsunamis. As the cracks spread throughout his realm, he began to be washed up by his own uncontrollable power. “I THOUGHT I COULD TRUST THEM” he boomed, before being swept under by the unstoppable current. His throne shattered as he left it, this marked the rebirth of Athri'div-ciw’s realm. After many years of absence, the descendants began to lose their boons. Shortly after, the king in yellow found himself washed up on a familiar island. His throne - he would begin to forge it back together, though he would notice one thing - the shadows no longer overtook the light during the night. He had to answer the promises of his followers. The ground in the mortal realm began to erupt, oceans causing seismic tsunamis and lava spewing mountains erected from the earth. This would be Athri'div-ciw’s new boon, they broke his promise - so he granted them disasters. “Fools! You broke the promise!” screamed the descendants as they cowered from his disasters. Tsunamis tore over coastal communities and volcanoes erupted in central locations, destruction was imminent for any who chose to break their promise. After time, Athri'div-ciw rage settled. His power leveled out and began to realise that he was only fueled by his boons and promises being broken. He returned infinitely to his phase of granting boons and making promises. They prayed and prayed to no avail For they did not know of the tale To get a boon, you must promise But beware, do not break it He only answers, to those that are honest Death is upon liars, have your fingers crossed – Unknown -=-=-=- Crossed fingers - a common representation of Athri'div-ciw -=-=-=- Athri'div-ciw’s Realm The realm of Athri'div-ciw is a seemingly endless basin of water. With nothing but a singular large island. The island at which his throne is on. Cracks shimmer throughout the air and the atmosphere, and the water doesn’t follow rules of physics. He controls the island and the water, creating currents and waves to manipulate reality. It is said that it can be impossible to find the island once off of it, due to it constantly moving and the currents dragging you away. “The endless water” as some call it, it is also home to the very war that the king in yellow feeds. Monsters of unspeakable hideousness dwell in the depths, while gracious birds of light soar above the clouds. Athri'div-ciw’s Following Athri'div-ciw’s following consists of a large, established religion, yet some of his followers remain cast out. He may occasionally grant boons to the most prestigious of promisers, and to the highest up in the religion. He often seeks out more followers, whether it be in the form of himself, or through religion. Athri'div-ciw’s Present Day Athri'div-ciw sits atop his shattered throne, answering the many prayers from his following. Though he is not scared to visit the mortal realm in an attempt to coax descendants into promising their service and allegiance to him, in return for boons. He frequently tells his followers to spread his word, so in return the most loyal created a religion to worship him. It is very possible that he could come one day to the mortal realm in an attempt to wreak havoc if he feels dissatisfied with the mortals and their promises. Tsunamis would begin to occur and volcanoes would would become active once more. OOC Purpose In conclusion, I felt that this was a pretty cool concept and the current lore was lacking a figure like this. One willing to serve either side if promised the right values. Also, there isn’t a daemon of promise/boons yet so I thought I'd make one with this cool concept. The Grey Equalism Founded by the first followers of Athri’div-ciw, “The Grey Equalism” has been around for many years. Recently, passed down to new speakers - the religion has been thriving for those who seek wealth, power and trust. -The Symbol of Equalism- Beliefs Equalism regularly prays to Athri'div-ciw, promising to do him favours and act on his behalf. They typically pray in front of Equalism thrones and sometimes statues of Athri'div-ciw constructed by his closest followers. They believe that if they continue to worship their ‘god’ that they can find salvation, and save the mortal realm from the fools that once broke his trust. The 6 Tenets of Equalism Don’t ever break a promise that will gain you something, doing so will invoke the power of Athri’div-ciw Don’t ever create a promise which you cannot fulfill, or are planning to break, doing so will invoke the power of Athri’div-ciw Don’t ever do malicious act against a fellow worshipper unless they are breaking one of the tenets, doing so will inoke the power of Athri’div-ciw Don’t ever manipulate the system or one of the tenets, doing so will invoke the power of Athri’div-ciw Lethal action must be taken against betrayers or people against Athri’div-ciw, breaking this will invoke the power of Athri’div-ciw A “promise” is required at least once a week, exception are allowed with warning beforehand, breaking this will invoke the power of Athri’div-ciw Hierarchy The Grey Equalism has a very important and unique hierarchy system. Each role plays its own part, has its own privileges and has its own purpose. Speakers: The speakers are the highest among the religion. They direct orders and are to be respected the most, they also speak on behalf of Equalism. There will typically be 1-3 speakers at a time. Keepers: Keepers are responsible for spreading the religion, along with teaching it and initiating new worshippers. Learner: Learners are training to become a keeper, and one day a speaker. They will be taught by keepers or speakers. To become a learner, you must first be in the community for a while and become well known as a loyal worshipper. Worshippers: A worshipper is a regular person initiated within the grey equalism. They are expected to listen to keepers and speakers. More info?
