Eldon was born in the city of Reza in a fairly poor merchant family. He lived in a small house with his parents for a big part of his life. As a child, Eldon never cared much about the other children but prefered instead to stay alone with his thoughts. Since his childhood one thing was clear, Eldon was no fighter, he was always scrawny and short and didn't really care for such things, he prefered to spend his time reading, he learnt how to read by himself and took a great interest in books about the realm its history and most of all magic. He was intrigued by magic and things connected to it, every time that someone even mentioned magic he would listen to hear something new. His parents didn't think that his obsession with magic was good for him and they wanted to teach him that a person doesn't need magic or power to be happy and that he should be satisfied by what he has. But he never agreed with them on that, he wanted to succeed, he wanted to do special things and to be remembered. He never found any similar person and spent his childhood alone. One night Eldon got very drunk in a tavern and started telling a priest about the extraordinary beauty of magic and how it is something special which humans shouldn't fear but should use. The priest accused Eldon of hermeticism. The priest called for two guards who were walking next to the tavern and they apprehended him and threw him in a cell. He was in a bad situation and it seemed there was no way out but then his parents came to the prison and claimed that he didn't have anything to do with magic and that it was them who told him all those things. After some persuasion, he was let go but his parents had to take his place. A few weeks later they were executed for hermeticism. Eldon mourned his parents but decided that he had to move on, he took the money that was left and sold his estate, and then started traveling around the land looking for someone to teach him magic. He was persistent in his beliefs and now that he had nothing to lose he decided that this was the only thing that he cared for that he had left. Now he goes around the realm from place to place looking for someone with the knowledge of magic.
