Eliza had lived a happy life up until the age of seven, when her father left her mother to marry another woman and escape into the countryside. Unsure how to explain it to her children, Eliza’s mother created an elaborate lie that her father passed away fighting for the military. The story went so deep that Eliza heard murmurs of the War of Two Emperors, and was instructed not to idolize the commanders of a war she never saw or fought herself. This was a lot to process for a young child, leading her to have some rather unfortunate coping mechanisms. Fearing that war may take away everything she holds dear, Eliza clutches onto materialistic things that she can keep on her person. Rings, notebooks, and fancy quills are just a few things to name a few. Though eighteen and currently unemployed, Eliza hopes to take up a job in one of the local bakeries or as a barkeep. She loves to cook and her family needs the money. Her free time is spent with her younger sister, Abigail, teaching her how to read, write, and many of the other skills a young woman should know. Despite her unfortunate upbringing, Eliza’s time spent hiding away in the library as a child served to make her very knowledgeable. Currently, she lives within the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska in it’s capital of Karosgrad.
