From within the confines of her lab did a particular winged-woman filter through a flurry of disorganized parchment. Every other piece was cast aside, afore one in particular caught her eye. She leaned back on an aging stool, twisting to prop a shoulder against what would be a nearby pillar. “Eh?” was all that came to escape her. A day later, satchels of varying supplies would take host upon that same desk.

Yelizaveta, a still bitter mother, flickered a glance over the posted scribing. A low hum followed. "Now raze it."

"Why is this woman giving them the time of day?" Scoffed Yelizaveta, ever irked upon sight of the inked names. "Raze their city. Take everything. Hang the murderers." Her lips thinned in distaste. "Do something."

Yelizaveta, a mother figure to the slain, made no effort to review the parchment given. Instead, she continued to cast it to the flames lit within her home. "I pray his head finds way atop a pike, forced to witness as his city burns."

It had never happened before, so why now? Her head shook in vehement denial of all which was said, rejecting and refusing any attempts of soothing.
