Hey everyone! I’m really loving how much LoTC uses forums. It feels nostalgic since I haven't been part of a forum-heavy server since before COVID. Anyway, I’m excited to share my art with this lovely community and hopefully make some new friends along the way. Here’s a bit about me: I’m a twenty-year-old college student studying nursing. I love hiking and spending time away from my computer (ironically), so many weekends you'll find me exploring the woods. I’ve been drawing since elementary school, starting with Warrior Cats and My Little Pony. I focused on animalistic characters until 2018, then I started experimenting with drawing humans. It was a bit on and off until 2020 when I discovered the DnD community and fell in love with drawing elves. Things just took off from there. So, let’s dive into my art journey! I’d love to show you my oldest pieces, but honestly, I’m too lazy to dig out my old computer or sift through my many unfinished sketchbooks. Instead, I’ll start with the pieces I’ve posted online. Just a quick copy and paste, easy peasy! 2017: 2018: 2019: 2020-2021: 2022-2023: 2022-2023 P2: 2023-2024: And YEAH! Most of the characters shown above are my own designs. You can see my art improve and evolve into my current style, which I’m very happy with. In the earlier stages, my art style could have gone in many directions, but here we are now. You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” - Izel's nose subtly wrinkled as the question was posed, hinting at her discomfort with self-reflection and her reluctance to share her inner thoughts. "Ah..." She trailed off, lost in contemplation, as a flood of childhood memories swirled within her mind. Raised in a family of doctors and scholars, within the embrace of a vast kinship filled with siblings and cousins, Izel held the position of being the eldest. It was a role that often found her tending to the needs of her family members. Driven by a deep commitment to follow in her family's footsteps, she dedicated herself to her work. Even at her current age, she was recognized as a highly proficient medic, providing assurance of health to those who sought her care. However, her life had revolved solely around her work and family, leaving little room for personal exploration. This had left the elf with a profound sense of melancholy regarding her own progress, making her reluctant to divulge her feelings. Sucking her teeth in a contemplative gesture, Izel turned her gaze to the side. "Nothing of great significance," she finally stated, her full lips pressing together. "Just a doctor, that's all."

Sage Marais, the small Wood Elf, stood with a surprised face to the sudden approach of a man. However, a smile soon drew into a curl on her lips. "Ah!" She exclaimed. Her callused hands moved to clasp together before her frame, "I've come to learn, Mister." The woman stated rather nonchalant. With a medical satchel at her hip it was clear of her profession, if he were to notice that is.
