Hey everyone!
 

I’m really loving how much LoTC uses forums. It feels nostalgic since I haven't been part of a forum-heavy server since before COVID.
 

Anyway, I’m excited to share my art with this lovely community and hopefully make some new friends along the way. Here’s a bit about me: I’m a twenty-year-old college student studying nursing. I love hiking and spending time away from my computer (ironically), so many weekends you'll find me exploring the woods. I’ve been drawing since elementary school, starting with Warrior Cats and My Little Pony. I focused on animalistic characters until 2018, then I started experimenting with drawing humans. It was a bit on and off until 2020 when I discovered the DnD community and fell in love with drawing elves. Things just took off from there.
 

So, let’s dive into my art journey! I’d love to show you my oldest pieces, but honestly, I’m too lazy to dig out my old computer or sift through my many unfinished sketchbooks. Instead, I’ll start with the pieces I’ve posted online. Just a quick copy and paste, easy peasy!

2017:

Art from 2017: This was shortly after I moved across the country. My neighbor was a furry, and she introduced me to the community, steering me away from only doing Warrior Cat and MLP art. While I wouldn't say I'm a furry or ever particularly identified as one, I definitely love drawing and designing them.

 

2018:

2018: Probably the most art I made in a year was during this year and the most growth.

 

 

2019:

Here we begin to notice the improvement, and we can see my art style slowly coming in... but I think I noticed it too in 2018.

 

 

 

 

 

2020-2021:

2020!!! COVID IS HERE AND IN FULL ACTION. This is when I started drawing humans A LOT. My style is clear to see but obviously not as narrowed down. 2021 is also included as I cannot find much art from these times. I also might be lazy to just look and see which one is 2022, and 2023.... B)

2022-2023, these are also merged as I do have much art on my computer or at least downloaded outside of a CLIP file. This is when I got into DND, you can totally tell... HAHA

We're coming close to the end guys, I hope this journey has been interesting... I have not made too much art between these two years due to my program being tough. BUT I WILL NOT STOP! >:D

And YEAH! Most of the characters shown above are my own designs. You can see my art improve and evolve into my current style, which I’m very happy with. In the earlier stages, my art style could have gone in many directions, but here we are now. I like where it ended up—cutesy isn’t really my thing.
