  1. its patchwork-y at best: atronachs SHOULD just use the default voidal MA page for their respective type of atronach.
  2. Yknow, more and more issues could be fixed if my amendment passed and my slew of 10,000 amendments could be posted.........
  3. The Rokul actually don’t care either way - they want the soul and they get it the moment you connect to material. Everything else is just OOCism to make 1-DC work
  4. i think we should shelf naztherak, all problems come from the MA anways.
  5. And this doesn't help any of that because it is negligble to voidstalkers and it reduces all voidal mages to a maximum of 6 combative spells per OOC time period. Voidal mages cannot do anything else besides cast spells effectively without having that shot by becoming a scion
  6. It's just missing a lot, and in hindsight it excessively buffs voidstalkers. A vast majority of combat spells that do something mechanically are at T3, with fire evo having a projectile that does burn at T2. Everyone else gets 6 barely useful spells per 12 hours/1 day, while voidstalkers get more. I don't know if that's intentional, but this doesn't seem like it fixes the issue of overcasting, it just makes mages unable to actually do anything.
  7. There is no real reason to give mages a kneecap like naztherak have. Breaking someone else's kneecap because you broke your own intentionally doesn't make it better, and proposing a point-exhaustion system for mundanes would likely require admin approval and never pass moderation/LT because it would introduce a solidified meta to CRP and further the HEMAmaxxing of CRP "Long Rests" do not exist in LoTC - the standard is 12 OOC hours or 1 OOC day and you should specify which. we'll suffer with all 5 pixels of this image but in general, casting doesn't need a hard X theoretical spells per day. All a mage can do is cast, and they're the template for all other half-casters to use a mana-point or X uses per day thing because they opt out of most of the detriments of being a caster mage like voidal mages. Likewise, no matter what passes, a vast majority of spells and feats (and other lore like tears and focuses) will need revising to adjust for a more concrete system. Expulsion is a T2 spell with mana cost effectively surpassing 2 T5 spells, meanwhile a T2 water projectile is quite literally an annoyance more than it is effective.
  8. eeeeeeeeeeeeeh No other magic is so purely casting as void is. I dislike the idea that a T5 mage needs to struggle with spellcasting [6 T3 spells? seriosuly? I get 6 slightly better (or worse) longbow shots when mundane man gets infinite arrows?] which is their bread and butter vs a human will crashout if you suggest they might be tired. I tackled this issue in my connection rewrite via exhaustion being a threshold that is reached via sustained casting and can be mitigated by casting lower tiered spells relative to your current tier or by taking some emotes to naturally recover. I dislike the idea of straight mana-pointing mages. Likewise, how long does it take to recover them? What is a spell is half off and rounds into a decimal? This feels like a half-answer at best and I don't think its a good idea to try and jerryrig a bad bakedpotato idea at that
  9. I was threatened at gunpoint by an unknown dragon I didn't actually write this one tbh this was mostly other people. HOWEVER if this doesnt pass for some reason, I will write the 20 page rebuttal
  10. TO BE CLEAR, this is my mandatory, legally required effort to amend this issue. There is more cooking that will make both ends of a tear more enjoyable
  11. Holy tech drop happy pride
  12. This was always the case (except for that one time on almaris
  13. i am obligated for legal reasons to post slop amendments before i submit whimsy
  14. Every other lore structure that can implode and effectively grief someone else's build requires RO at minimum, and PRO at most. Given that hollows [for now] cannot be fixed, im happy w/ PRO. This does not effect lairs [where the PRO is likely apart of this] or unowned land such as the many many cave systems on this map
  15. You need better OPSEC if your gunna ask people to try and give you rep on an amendment 😭
  16. Every other thing with potential to destroy the land it’s sitting on requires PRO; BM was the last holdout beside tearing and spiritspell was written out
  17. I did ask the other akals in the chat what they thought because of the likewise pending change to make banishment a softPK, though this would let all of 1 person talk to me specifically so I’m not sure what your reaching for here. When will you stop hiding in your other discords and insult me publically dude. It’s very lame :(
  18. Shouldn’t be hard to get PRO approval then
  19. I was debating just making putting any tear on an owned tile require PRO, and will probably adjust that. Yea zonty's gotten away with a few and there are many copycats.
  20. ITALICIZED or BOLDED Text are changed, STRIKETHROUGH Text is removed. Purpose: “Tear Bombing” is a stretch of Voidal Tearing lore that lies in a similar spot to old Spiritspell, with a very large loophole that is only exploited to grief other builds where other similarly destructive lore requires PRO absolutely. Since it offers very little narratively and is more often than not used and intended to be used as a tool to grief nations by the players behind the characters, I think it should be removed.
  21. ITALICIZED or BOLDED Text are changed, STRIKETHROUGH Text is removed. Purpose: The ability to contact Inferi “stuck” In the Moz [namely, banished zar’ei/zevn and cannibalized Akal] seems in-line with the general theming of this ability and after some discussion with lt & other akal, demons trapped in hell are not necessarily obliterated and beyond communication, so I’m suggesting it.
  22. I think we're so deep in this puritan rabitthole we forgot the original reason naz always had CC kids was because naz would give themselves the CC bane for a effectively free minor boon bc none of them were really romance RPing or having kids anyway, and ST decided this was something that needed fixing [not vhiiit or inferi or akal btw this pre-dates all those rewrites] At the end of the day, the core "issue" is that LT don't like it when naz can get a boon without worrying about the bane bc 90% of naz do not bother with family RP and most of you are hyperfocused on the maybe 3-5 people in one group who did it as a consequence of this "nerf" to prevent boonmaxxing. the original amendment created a solution to a non-existance issue [the only good minor boon is levitation be so fr]
