  1. A woman with a vibrant red curl looked over the missive, she herself recalling memories of her interactions with Iudas. She shook her head as she took a sip of a tea. "What could that man have done to cast the eyes of the Empire upon him?" She questioned, a tounge click escaped her. Folding up the missive and setting it aside as she continued to enjoy the remainder of her tea.
  2. Moonlight covered the features of the maehr as she folded the missive, a shuffling could be heard as her daughter laid next to her peacefully sleeping. A moment passed, her hand meeting the small child's crimson hair that closely resembled her mothers. The hand toyed gently, as delicate as one could be at such an hour. "My little spider, I hope you may grow in a world where such troubles do not exist" spoken lower than a hum the soft melody escaped her lips. The parchment she had taken from a local board, was then stashed away on her person. She left the warm embrace of her other and child, equipping herself as she wandered into the night "Be a hunter, not a hero".
  3. What are some of the defining moments you've had as Hick? For example, Did you have any moments that fundamentally changed your way of thinking? Did an encounter leave you questioning if you made the right choice? What are some of your favorite moments on Hick?
  4. Sloane gave an approving nod as she read the missive "Ave Virú" She said simply going back to the business she had been attending.
  5. Sloane Leomonte heard the news, she didn't know how to react. She only felt a sadness within her, a cold winters night within the summer that was her emotions. Sloane didn't know Flynn, they had only met a couple of times, assisting the old man whenever she saw him. "Samay amigo" she said softly at the news. She couldn't dwell on the news, but the lasting impression was there. She knew that every interaction matters, not knowing when one may be their last. After a few days, a bouquet of flowers is set to drift within the waters of the Viru beach, fashioned together like a float. Centered with a candle that was held aloft in the center.
  6. Sloane Leomonte glances over the missive, a bead of humidity forming at her eye that was quickly wiped away. "Ama mancharikuychu Turi, you've proven yourself to be an excellent leader. I cannot wait to see the future of Viru in your hands" She put the missive down, glancing over her wardrobe. "Perhaps I need a new dress for the occasion".
  7. Sloane Kunya Leomonte pondered what outfit she would wear to such an event. . . She also thought if it would be appropriate for a 28-year-old woman to participate in hide and seek. She laid the missive down on her desk as she started digging through her closet.
  8. Thank you for your vigilant and thankless work

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” Eliseth bites at the skin of her lip peeling away a dried piece of skin as she observes her surroundings. Between all of the chaotic organization of trinkets, bones, and 'personal' items her pupils dilate. She peels some skin on her inner lip. Eliseth lets out a hoarse "Vraz Mada- Vrax, Apologies Madame, It is a great honor to finally me-". "Child, sit." The hags arm stretches longer than it should towards the stained cushion "Formalities are left at the door, what is your tale child?" Eliseth's eyebrows raise with her eyes squinting a look of confusion on her face "Story, Tale? I came for advise Madame." she looks at the hag who appears to be enjoying a cup of some hot beverage. "Yes child, a tale. Who are you?" she finishes another sip letting out a satisfied breath "The price of my wonders is your story" the hag looks at Eliseth with a wide grin as her arm reaches towards a trinket among the collection "occasionally, an item of personal value" She lingers "Begin" Eliseth winces at a tinge of pain, then relaxing her face "I am Eliseth daughter of Velulbea and Valin'der, Pilgram of Aevos, and Barvelael. I come seeking guidance on how to regain favor with the Maiden of the Moon. I have come to you as a last hope in this effort" The Hags grin deepens, her beverage now lays on the table between the two of them. She arches forward her back protruding as the room grows darker. Eliseth stares into the eyes of the Hag, Eliseth's face stoic as a tear escapes down her cheek. "You seek to remove this Barvelael" her voice booms as she pronounces the dark elvish language finishing with a cackle. Eliseth calm without missing a step "You've heard my plea, what is the price" The hag relaxes her form shifting back to that of a older woman as she takes a sip of her beverage "For a child of the dark, you see the bright side of any situation. You've betrayed your ancestors but refuse to let others suffer. You are a complex creature, more generous than most I encounter." the hag puts a finger to her lip and grins after a few moments. "I ask of one thing child, my price is to see your fate as it unfolds" without looking away from Eliseth she stretches her arm out to the other side of the tent grabbing a jar "My price, is one of your eyes." Eliseth tenses, her hands grabbing the table as she looks behind her from where she entered and her eyes widen in horror as the entrance to this tent is gone.she quickly exclaims "I never should have come here" she tries to get up "Oh, child it will be quick" she grins "accept my deal" the hag sits in anticipation toying with the creature before her. Eliseth runs at the wall where the door had been her shoulder taking the force of the brunt as she slams into the wall. The fabric, more sturdy then she was prepared for, knocks her to the floor. She hears the hag cackling. Tears run down Eliseth's face she whispers "be’a-velulaeya" she tries to get to her knees as she whispers again "be’a-velulaeya" a moment passes, stretching an eternity as Eliseth faces the hag. The hag looking at Eliseth in her defeated form, tears running down her somehow stoic face. "Do we have a deal dear child?" Eliseth spits to her side and through gritted teeth exclaims "Uhv’ra barbashuk-el, yto vex uhv’laht konyrbea-el, bashukyr!" In the moment that the deal is accepted several things happen simultaneously. The room grows dark, lit by only a single candle behind the hag Eliseth weeps as the room dampens to darkness Eliseth feels a sharp pain as she goes unconscious. Eliseth is woken by a stir on her shoulder, the air is crisp and her breath is visible she lays in a river bed. She hears a muffled voice. she lets out a groan "huh" as she processes what is happening. She looks up her vision blurry and obfuscated she tenses her eyes open to blurry figures above her. she rubs her eyes, with her hands spreading dirt on her face, she realizes in that moment the lack of flesh in her right eye. Her tense magnifies and her breath paces rapidly as she, for a moment that stretched too long in her perception, panics "Ma'am" a guardsman says with concern "What are you doing out here?" Eliseth, dazed and not sure where she is, looks at the two guards standing over her. She tries her best to mask her worries "Where, where am I?" Eliseth lets out with a hoarse quick tone. "Do either of you have water?" moments pass then she feels a waterskin press up against her lips as she tries to sip as she gets her bearings grabbing the waterskin and continues to drink from it as its snatched from her "Now, now missy that's supposed to last me my shift" the guardsman says "What are you doing out here?" Eliseth winces as a sharp pain passes "It's a long story"...
