  1. VIRÚ “The Light Calls” Issued 2074. May all who answer it thrive. We, the Council and Peoples of Viru, seek to relay our support and aid to the Imperium, in their mighty conquest against the darkness of Azuras. For many generations the darkened denizens of Iblees and his acolytes have brought ruin and heartache to the lands. Many a child has been orphaned or worse by his armies, many men and women lost to them. We stand against this darkness, and though we are a city of many peoples, we rally under a shared belief; a shared dream. That our children may freely run and play, without looking over their shoulders. That our roads may be safe to walk on, that our beloved men and women in the guard may come home safe. That families will not be torn apart and broken by these vile beings of death and decay. Virú offers Arms & Armaments Words, though pretty, are not enough. They do not armor the soldier, nor sharpen his steel. Thus is why Viru will be donating the following resources to the Imperium, for use in this crusade. A large chest’s worth of Coal A chest’s worth of Iron 9 tons of Daemonsteel 18 tons of Copper We also send the aid of our military, and any who seek to send more than words of support to the Imperium. We encourage those who have also been scorned by the darkness, those who have lost family and friends to it. Take up your arms, and join this Holy Crusade. Fight to rid the world of this blight, and to protect all you hold dear. Ave Imperium. Ave Idunia. Ave Viru. Nina Rawray Ñancharichiy “Flame Guide” Signed, HER LADYSHIP, Lady Sloane Kunya Pachakutiq, Lord Paramount of Viru Lady Evangeline Mara Salazar, Legisladora Dama Melisanda de Trastamara de la Casa Mendoza, Directora del Corte Joelina Teresa De Trastamara de Casa Mmendoza, Tesorera

  4. “Until we meet again” Issued on the 13th day of The First Seed of the year of 268 S.A. It is with great regret that Virú watches the departure of Rodrigo Tupaq Amaru Leomonte, but myself, my council and my court wish him well. We honour his wishes, and as such the Leomontes- other than Tupaq Amaru and his son- are reforging themselves as the noble Panaka of Pachakutiq. With his departure, Lady Gloria Taqui Pachakutiq will now take over as head of the Panaka of Pachakutiq. Let it be known that Rodrigo Tupaq Amaru Leomonte is from this day stripped of all Virúvian titles and offices, and removed from the line of inheritance of Lady Anacleta Paqar Pachakutiq née Leomonte, and Lord Antonio Olivar De Pelear. This is done with no malice, but to ensure a civil separation as he begins his new life within the crownlands. Whatever resentment he may hold for his family, Virú remains Tawantinsuyan. The Pachakutiq stand tall as a bastion of their people, and will continue to do so. Though we may have different schools of thought, we salute Tupaq Amaru for spreading the glory of Tawantinsuyu ever wider. KAWSAYNIYOQ, MUNAYNIYOQ, K’ANCHAYNIYOQ Signed, HIS LORDSHIP, Lord Aureliano Paqar Pachakutiq, Lord Paramount of Virú

  7. 🌣 VIRÚ 🌣 🌣 De una llama a la otra 🌣 Issued on the 11th of First Seed of the year of 259 S.A. When we set out to rebuild our community, my council and I vowed to never repeat the mistakes of the nation we had come from. We would not let our people suffer under an unprepared leader with power thrust upon them too soon. We would not ignore those with the true ability to lead due to circumstances of birth. With that in mind, we designed the heir trials. To be considered a worthy successor, a candidate would have to rule Virú in my stead for four years. My nephew Aureliano Paqar Leomonte has now officially completed his trial as heir. He has shown himself to be steadfast, wise, and coolheaded in a crisis. These past years he has shepherded our people: helping found our new guard, handling various diplomatic crises, refounding our courts and smoothing over the transition to these new lands of ours. It is my great pride to say that he has exceeded my expectations. Though I will not step back from my duties as Lady Paramount- Aureliano will be my right hand in all things. He speaks with my voice and authority, and will learn by helping me lead our people. May His Flame guide him, and all of Virú. VAYA CON DIOS Signed, HER LADYSHIP, Lady Anacleta Paqar Leomonte, Lady Paramount of Viru
  8. Issued on the 9 of Malin's Welcome of the year of 258 year D.R. This short letter is a notice of an addendum to the law codex, whereupon the following changes are being made: There is a new procedure of punishment for individuals who bring dishonor to Viru. This could be as simple as bad behavior while representing Viru, or as far as inciting incidents with other nations. The first offense will be that of a fine of 200 mina. The second offence will be the removal of a hand, unless the accused is a child. In which circumstance, an additional fine of 200 mina will be incurred. The third offence will be that of a fine of 300 mina and a removal from any official post, should they have any, including from the Guardia de Francisco. In addition, the accused individual will be barred from reapplying for any government post for a minimum of 10 years, and must seek approval from the Council, via a majority vote, after said timeframe has passed. Following offenses may result in exile. As per the law codex, the accused will be able to defend themselves in a formal trial, overseen by the Legisladora, and voted on by the Council. In addition, the vote procedure for the Council is being slightly altered. In the occasion of a tie vote, the Lord or Lady Paramount holds the power to break the tie: with the exception of when the vote is about the Lord, in which case the tie breaking vote goes to the Court Chamberlain. In addition, the Corte de Girasoles is being expanded, and its positions better defined. The new order of positions in la Corte de Girasoles is: The Director of the Corte, or the Court Chamberlain: whose duties involve keeping the rest of the council updated on the state of affairs within the court, and overseeing the other positions. They are the direct line of communication from the court to the rest of the Council. The Jefes de Cultura: The head of culture, who will write missives relating to the culture of Viru and work to help spread the word about Viru to interested parties. The Jefes de Médico: The head of medicine. They oversee the clinic, oversee the gathering of herbs and selling of medicine, and teach those who wish to become medics, themselves. The Jefes de Evento: The head of events. They host, organize, and plan events for the people of Viru, as well as manage the calendar. The Jefes de Saber: The head of the library. They oversee and maintain the library, the selling of books, and teach classes on their choosing of topics. The Jefes de Familia: The family heads of the major peerage houses. They ensure their families are in good standing, host events for the family, and ensure the general welfare of their respective families. It is the Cortes duty to maintain the atmosphere and cultural identity of Viru, as well as keeping its public buildings– such as the clinic, bank, and library– in good working order. The members of the Corte are held to the same standard as the Council Members, and are expected to represent Viru with pride and dignity. This codex will serve as an addendum to the current law codex, found here. We strive to keep our law codex up to date with the everchanging affairs of the world, in a way that is both accessible and understandable. Virú recognizes the necessity for self-defense in certain cases, though unprovoked violence, if proven in court, is unacceptable. Those crimes known as “Crimes against Property” include but are not limited to thievery, burglary, and arson. As per the importance of the rights to land and property of our people, no person (whether citizen or non-citizen) must infringe upon those rights. Those crimes known as “Crimes against Order” include but are not limited to indecency, disruption of ceremony, and disorderly conduct. As per the importance of the protection of peace within the territory of Virú, that same peace must be protected for the sake of order and serenity. Those crimes known as “Crimes against the State” include but are not limited to sedition, treason, and assassination. Virú recognizes the need for free expression, granted that the expression does not harm that which keeps the territory in order. Any attempts made by anyone of Hyspian descent to restore the Hyspian Kingdom or royal family will be viewed as such a crime. Those crimes known as “Crimes against Family” include, but are not limited to, neglect and abandonment. Virú recognizes that schedules can be conflicting, though circumstances in which a family head neglects to choose a regent during complicated times are unacceptable. The Laws of Idunia apply to all citizens and territories of Virú. Section 7: Cultural and Civility The following list of laws applies to civil and cultural cases, such as courtship, racial equality, and cultural preservation. The cultural identity of Virú is of utmost importance to its residents, and there are various laws to protect it. No citizen of Virú may be treated differently or more severely punished for their race, nor falsely accused of a crime on the basis of race. No citizen under the age of 15 may be courted, and no citizen under the age of 18 may be married. Attempting to do so will result in appropriate reprimand or punishment for the offending party; based on severity and repetition of the act. Furthermore: No citizen under the age of 18 may be pestered, coerced, or otherwise asked about courting if they do not wish to engage in such topics. This is mostly to prevent any form of coercion or extortion related to courtship. No citizen of Virú may be denied their cultural heritage, or prohibited in participating in their cultural identity, so long as said identity is not harmful to the people, order, or Council of Virú. Familial Law This section of the codex applies specifically to the major peerage and noble families of Virú, and any that wish to apply for peerage. At the time of writing, there are: House Leomonte House Salazar House De Trastamara And House Mondblume Peerage and nobility families are not exempt from standard Virúvian laws, and will be punished for any crimes committed just as any non-nobility citizen would be. Peerage families are still liable for being evicted if they do not pay their taxes. If a peerage family leaves Virú, they are liable to have their titles and special permissions revoked on a case by case basis. Article V: Titles Any peerage family may become a noble family, at which point they may use the title “Lord” or “Lady.” A peerage family may use the titles of “Dama” and “Don.” If a family abandons Virú in times of war, vows loyalty to another nation, or commits treason against the Lord or Lady of Virú, they will be banished in addition to having their titles revoked; under penalty of death. If said family has their banishment overturned, they will be barred from applying for peerage or nobility status again during the lifetime of the offending parties. A family head retains the right to disown any member of the family, in which their titles and special privileges within Virú will be revoked. These decisions may be overturned by a majority council vote. 12. Hola, y bienvenidos a Azuras! We’re very excited to have you be part of our wonderful city. Whether you’re a returning player from the last map, or a new one wanting to experience our unique culture and RP, we welcome you. = 𖤓 = This little guide will acquaint you with some important buildings in our city, as well as our priorities entering this map. First we have the Town Hall, the center of our community. The Town Hall contains our library, tax offices, bank, public forge, barracks, clinic, school, and government offices; all in one communal building. A singular, central building that makes it easy to locate almost any service you need. In the picture above, it’s the big building in the top right- down the road and right from the main gate! = 𖤓 = Next to the Town Hall, beside the forge, is our Therapy Office. The service is offered by local clinicians, and available to residents. If you have anything you need to work through, or need someone to talk to, our therapist will be there to help. In the picture above, it’s next to the smaller blue tree behind the Town Hall. = 𖤓 = The Aviary is one of the few government services not inside the Town Hall. Though, it is located nearby; a little past the gate and right next to our arena, the host of many events of all kinds. It’s also home to an assortment of Viru’s birds- Messenger Pigeons, some Smooth-Billed Ani, Eared Doves, and some Macaws. = 𖤓 = And last but not least, our Tavern. The boat we sailed here on, turned into a place of celebration and joy. It’s located to the left of the gate, past some of our local shops. It’s a bright and vibrant area, and includes a statue garden in the back to commemorate those who helped us get to where we are today. = 𖤓 = The many noble houses of Virú can also be located around the Town Hall; the Leomontes, Mondblumes, Salazars, and de Trastamaras. Each have their own soul, and hold their own unique cultures. Our priorities for this map are to ensure our financial stability and prosperity, to expand our mining operations, and to keep our farms well tended and frequently harvested. And of course, to celebrate the culture of Virú. = 𖤓 = Please join us in our fantastic new city, and of course, have a wonderful time here. Ave Virú!
