  1. PUBLIC LETTER TO THE ANVIL CULT Only fools, and I must say tremendous fools, would ever dare to make an audacious attempt to claim a dwarven relic for themselves. The sheer power and magnitude of this relic are beyond anything we've ever seen before. It's tremendous, folks, truly tremendous. Let me tell you, the highest possible magics, the most powerful magics known to our species, have been intricately woven into the very fabric of this anvil. It's like nothing you've ever seen, believe me. Anyone who dares to lay their hands on it will be consumed by madness. Yes, you heard that right, madness! This is not a game, folks. It's a matter of utmost importance and caution. Now, we might find ourselves in a situation where we have no other choice, no other option but you to confront the might of the dwarves of Tal'Yrro. We, let me tell you, are formidable. We have a history of resilience, strength, and honor. But mark my words, we will not back down. We will face you head-on, with courage and determination. However, there is still a chance for peaceful resolution. I urge you, my dear adversaries, to reconsider your actions. Surrender the anvil, this remarkable dwarven relic, or else you may face the consequences, the final judgment. And let me tell you, folks, you won't like what awaits you if you choose to defy us. So, think wisely, consider the gravity of your actions. This is a pivotal moment, a crossroads where the fate of our worlds hangs in the balance. Let's strive for diplomacy, for understanding, and avoid unnecessary conflicts. Only then can we hope to navigate through these troubled times and forge a brighter future for all. Charles “The Bald” Grand Marshall of Tal’Yrro The First Dwed of The Underworld The Reformer of Justice The Grandest Dwarven Champion The Creature of Kaz'Ulrah The Defender of The Rhun NARVAK OZ URGUAN, KAVIR OZ DA ELGI-KHOROK'ARAKRUMM
  2. I can't wait to see you in the accused box with you know who defending you. You cannot keep this up Llir !
  3. You will debate with them for years on this without them ever grasping what the text is actually saying.
  4. The Grand Thug Marshall readies to share the toll fee to the Brathmordakin High Prophet. "Long live Kal'Yrro" he yells at the entrance.
  5. This is one of the temp maps we've had, that's for sure.
  6. There was one peculiar habit that Charles “The Bald” possessed—a habit that had become somewhat of a legend within the kingdom and the world. Every time The Bald finished writing a letter, be it to a fellow dwarf, a distant relative, or even an important dignitary, he would pause, gently lick his lips, and carefully seal the envelope. This act had become so ingrained in his routine that everybody liked to receive letter from Charles, you can guess the rest. However, this one letter was left in the halls of Urguan within the refugee city of Savory for every dwarf to read : The Failures of Garedyn The Green We are the greatest movement in the entire world and the sky, folks. Believe me, nobody comes close. Now, let's talk about Garedyn the Green, the so-called High Chief of Heffrum. Let me tell you, he's been a disaster, an absolute disaster! As High Chief of Heffrum, Garedyn has failed miserably in surpassing Urguan, the reigning dwarven nation. Heffrum is like a little puppy, always sitting right next to Urguan, never able to stand on its own. And guess what? It's going to stay that way until I'm gone. Heffrum is a tremendously dull place, believe me. The architecture there, just like the halflings' buildings, lacks any semblance of originality. Sad! I totally get why nobody wants to waste their time in such a lackluster setting. It's run by Asketil Blackroot, who's calling the shots and making it nearly impossible for anyone with fresh ideas to make a difference. What a tremendous shame for such a "cool" place, right? That’s why the people of Heffrum have to come in Urguan and promote their ideals and their seriously terrible ideas; Our king want’s to concentrate power and religion, instead, Garedyn creates 5 different things and 20 other oaths. What a farce that is ! If it wasn't for Garedyn abusing his powers, Heffrum wouldn't have dared to build right in front of Urguan's gate, attracting all sorts of people who would have never even considered going to his pathetic city. And let me tell you about Garedyn's role as the Grand Steward. He couldn't even reduce taxes properly. The people rose against him because he was so incompetent. But you know what he did? He abused his position and manipulated the taxes in Urguan to benefit himself. Look at how much Heffrum’s taxes were reduced when he announced a tax break, a joke ! Oh, and don't even get me started on his time as the Grand Admiral. He built a port-city that was empty from the moment it was created until the moment it ended. It was a complete waste of time and resources. And those ships he built? Useless! They never sailed, never fulfilled their purpose. Just a big, fat waste! Now, let's talk about Garedyn as the High Prophet. What a disaster he is! He has caused nothing but trouble within Urguan. He even went so far as to kill another dwarf, embarrassing the institutions. And let's not forget his favoritism. He promoted his seer buddies within the clergy, practicing nepotism like it's some kind of game unlike Norli Starbreaker, who taught him everything he knows. Norli accepted dwarves from every faction, not Garedyn. He constantly tried to get other parties arrested, creating chaos and division. He even created multiple factions within the same institution, for Yemekar's sake! And the concept of oaths he came up with? They were just copied from the Rhun, right after they created them. Talk about lack of originality! And don't even get me started on Garedyn's supposed faith. He called for honor duels among dwarves, but he didn't act with righteousness. No, he let his emotions dictate his actions, just like he's been doing for years. He's nothing more than a childish individual who can't control himself. He likes to talk about Norli Starbreaker, but let me tell you, he has none of Norli's redeeming qualities. No, he just takes on Norli's bad traits like it's normal behavior. And you know what? Nobody shows up to his clergy events like they do for Norli. He's a nobody, a nobody pretending to be a leader by speaking loud but actually doing absolutely NOTHING !!! He has secret meetings with his seer pals, engaging in nepotism left and right. And you know what's the worst part? Nobody wants to follow him. Nobody believes in him, nobody respects him. So, here's what I have to say to Garedyn the Green: it's time for you to leave The Grand Kingdom of Urguan. We don't need your so-called help anymore. Heffrum will be better with you and Urguan without you. That little puppy of Urguan will finally have a chance to thrive without Asketil’s incompetence dragging it down. THE MOVEMENT FOREVER

  8. As the town burned town, the dwarf marched forward, he knew fires from wood couldn't melt the metals within them, his last gift to Barrowton would be to steal their valuables left behind. "Ah'm the richest dwarf alive roight now" would say the dwarf as he jumped and clapped his feet at his newly found resource pit.
  9. I proposed to him to send the logs to my database server but he kept asking me about help for client-side code, I had to give up eventually and help him with client-side stuff.
  10. One day, while spying on the king, Charles overheard a conversation between the tax collector and the king. They were discussing a new tax law that would increase the taxes on food and medicine, which would make it impossible for the poor to survive. Charles was furious, and he knew he had to act fast. He made his way to the tax office, where he used his mining skills to create a hidden entrance. Once inside, he found the tax boxes and set up a complex system of traps and obstacles to prevent anyone from getting to them. The next day, when the tax office opened, the tax collectors were shocked to find that they couldn't access the tax boxes. They searched the office from top to bottom, but they couldn't find any signs of forced entry. They had no idea what had happened. Meanwhile, word of the blockade began to spread throughout the city. People were thrilled to learn that they didn't have to pay taxes, and they started to see Charles as a hero. As they cheered inside of their souls, they received a letter from The Movement : NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION AGNAR WILL YOU HEAR US ? My fellow dwarves, we are living in some of the toughest times this kingdom has ever seen. The global economy is in shambles, and our once-great nation is struggling to keep its head above water. And as if that weren't enough, we're being hit with massive taxes left and right, making it harder and harder for hardworking dwarves to get by. Can you believe what's going on? Agnar "Sleepy" Ireheart is just going ahead and rewriting the articles and religion of our kingdom without consulting anyone. That's not right, folks. We deserve to have a say in how our kingdom is run. It's time to stand up and speak out! This is just plain wrong. We can't let this sleeping tyrant take away our rights and freedoms. We need to band together and take a stand against this injustice. The Movement is doing just that, folks. We have blocked every tax box in the tax office, and let me tell you, I did it myself. We can't let this unfair taxation burden us hardworking dwarves any longer. That's why today, we're declaring a tax-free holiday. We need to come together and support each other, especially in light of recent attacks on our cities. We need to show our resilience in the face of adversity. So let's unite and show the Grand Kingdom of Urguan that we won't back down to their corruption and fraud. And let's savor this tax-free holiday, because we deserve it, folks. Together, we can make a change and put an end to this unjust taxation once and for all ! Charles “The Bald” II
  11. What ban do you consider that you shouldn't have gotten and why ?
  12. As the fire crackled in the hearth and the aroma of ale filled the air, the weary dwarf slumped onto a nearby stool. With a heavy sigh, he leaned back and stared into the distance, lost in thought. His mind was filled with the weight of the news he had just received. It was then that the dwarf broke his silence, his voice ringing out across the room. The few dwarves present turned to look at him, their curiosity piqued. With a deep breath, the dwarf began to speak, his voice filled with conviction. “I understand that this may be a difficult announcement for some of you to accept. Let me remind you that our great nation is founded on the rule of law, and that includes a process that must be respected when making arrests. If you had taken the time to follow proper procedures and build a strong case, you would have emerged victorious. Unfortunately, you rushed ahead without proper preparation, and the outcome was not in your favor. Let this be a lesson to you all. Cases of this magnitude require careful consideration and attention to detail. You must be prepared to navigate the complexities of our legal system and the intelligence of those who seek to respect it, The Old Guard. Moving forward, let us all commit to upholding the law and working within the established process to ensure justice is served. Thank you all.” After his passioned speech, the dwarf wasted no time in taking action. With conviction in his heart, he strode purposefully towards the nearest dwarf, Darek Irongrinder, determined to rally his support for the cause. Without hesitation, he affixed a pin to the dwarf's tunic, emblazoned with the words "THE MOVEMENT." He knew that this simple act would signal the dwarf's allegiance to the cause and that he would be counted on as a loyal supporter in the upcoming kingdom election. The dwarf's heart swelled with pride as he looked around at his fellow dwarves, united in their shared purpose. With renewed determination, he set his sights on the future, knowing that together they would overcome any obstacle in their path. For this dwarf, the pin was not just a symbol of his support for the cause, but a reminder of the power of unity and the strength that could be found in working together towards a common goal.
  13. GOD can i do whispers or something along the lines ?
  14. Dor'Nal was a busy little fellow, scurrying around his workshop with a sense of urgency. He had an important announcement to make, and he wanted to make sure that every citizen of Heffrum and Urguan was aware of it. With a stack of parchment in one hand and a quill in the other, Dor'Nal began to scribble furiously, pouring all his thoughts onto the page. He wrote about THE MOVEMENT, which has redefined Urguan in the past. Once he had finished writing the notices, Dor'Nal carefully folded each one and sealed it with a blob of molten wax, pressing his The Movement's crest into it with his signet ring. He then took a deep breath, hoisted the heavy stack of letters over his shoulder, and set out on his journey so every dwarf of Heffrum and Urguan could read this. The pin of the movement RETURN OF THE MOVEMENT My fellow Urguanians, listen up! We need a change, a big change! And we need a real leader who can unite us under the banner of The Grand Kingdom of Urguan, folks! It's time for us to make a decision, a decision that will determine our future. Are we gonna let the bad actors, the corrupt individuals, and the poor institutions ruin our community, or are we gonna stand up and fight back? Are we gonna let those who think they can use our community as their maniacal playground divide us? I say, NO MORE! We need a change, a change that only a true leader can bring! And that's why I, Charles The Bald II, Dor’Nal Hammerfist, am here to lead you all to victory! We're gonna bring back THE MOVEMENT and take the Obsidian throne by storm! Let me tell you something, folks. I love this kingdom more than anything else! And when it comes to battles, whether it's Ireheart, Treebeard, or someone I disagree with, I'm always the first to help you get back up when you're down. I’m always the one with a smile, and that smile I want to share with everyone whether I disagree with you or not. I have learned from my mistakes and have built on them: I am ready for this role. The last time we tried to win an election, we might not have won, but our ideas got through. And you know what? The changes we wanted were later implemented by Ulfric Frostbeard and Norli Starbreaker. So let's give them a big thank you, folks! We warned the newcomers and eliminated the domination of The Old Guard. We exposed the corruption within the Grand Kingdom, we made the king's work for the community, and most importantly, we redefined the position of the grand king. But let me tell you, folks, rising against the old guard can be a risky business. You gotta think before you act, and most importantly, you gotta stay alive! We learned that the hard way. But we're still standing, and we're ready to take on the challenge once again! Now, in the present day, our institutions and community are being run by bad faith actors who are only interested in their personal gains. Unofficial actors and organizations are popping up left and right without any regard for the kingdom or our culture. And let me tell you, Agnar Grandaxe is not the man for the job. We need a real leader, folks, someone who can unite us all! And the list of great king candidates is disappointingly short. But fear not, my fellow dwarves, because we have a plan. We're gonna revolutionize Urguan once again by bringing all the clans together! We're gonna have the greatest feasts the dwarves have ever seen, and we're gonna put an end to all the disruptions during our world-facing events. We're gonna be more active, end the constant private meetings (OOC meetings), and restore greatness within our nation. We will collaborate with the old guard and the new one to form a UNITED Grand Kingdom of Urguan forward. I see talent within our own institutions, folks! Durorn Ireheart might not be the one to make us laugh, but on the battlefield, there is none other that I would follow. Garedyn is a very talented, hardworking dwarf, and he is needed within our grand kingdom. And what about Norli Starbreaker? There’s nothing more to say than he's the one who has redefined the culture within our kingdom! He might not be the best to agree with everybody, but we can allow him to have his mistakes! He’s still a great hardworking lad who can lead the temple to glory! In conclusion, folks, we need a leader who can make us greate again, we need someone who can unite us and THE MOVEMENT is your wish.
  15. EVERYONE must show up to the most important trial in LOTC history tomorrow (april 12) at 3:30PM in URGUAN ! MUST NOT BE MISSSED.

  16. A group of men, some of them grumbling about their new task, were gathered by the freshly-shaved dwarf who was now their leader. He explained that they had been chosen to transport letters to every human, orc, and elven kingdom in the land. The men exchanged looks of disbelief and confusion, wondering why such a task was necessary but they kept their head down and still did the work for this crazy dwarf. THE TRIAL OF THE MARTYRS OF THE RHUN A CRUCIAL TEST FOR URGUAN YOU ARE INVITED Dear citizens of Alamaris, You are cordially invited to witness an extraordinary event at the grand courts of Urguan on the next stone day at 3:30 pm (April 12, 3:30pm). DwedCorp's most accomplished lawyers will defend against the seven charges brought against the Rhun cult, all must attend ! This trial represents more than just a legal proceeding against a cult. It's a crucial test for the unity of the dwarven people, and its significance cannot be overstated. Urguan is a place that embraces diversity, where free thinkers and believers of different magics are welcomed, and where all dwarves call home at least once in their life. The upcoming trial will determine whether justice can still prevail in the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. It's unfortunate that the Ireheart clan seems to have lost their roots, are now swayed by outside influences from the forest. The Mossborns and Irehearts have forgotten that there is a legal system in Urguan and more dwarves than just the active ones. You cannot simply cannot control all the groups within Urguan. Furthermore, both the Ireheart and Mossborn clans have dashed their hopes of uniting Urguan under one banner as it was in the past. Their actions have caused significant harm to the unity of the dwarven people, and they will bear the consequences of their misguided decisions. The upcoming trial is only the beginning of a challenging journey for the dwarven kingdom. If a compromise cannot be reached before the trial, it could lead to a lose-lose situation for the kingdom. The Ireheart clan's unlawful deeds will have dire consequences, including further legal proceedings and irreparable harm to vital alliances. If the Rhun cult loses the trial, Urguan risks losing its esteemed status as a grand kingdom, along with its precious artifacts. Such actions may also prompt some groups to abandon Urguan, potentially rendering it as desolate as it was during the bleak era of Khron'Hundmar. Sincerely, Charles "The Bald" II
  17. I have emptied every chest in that city out of ressources, there's nothing in it.
  18. Sometimes there's nothing wrong you can do on LOTC. ___________________________________________________ I agree with defining the punishments, I don't agree with the fact that it just allows a bad interpretation of it when you guys are not admins. You might understand now but in 10 years, minor toxicity and even roleplay could get reported and banned. I would just try to find the middle ground and try to define what does this policy affects, does it affects player emotes ? If your character is at war, he might do "harassment" but there should be nothing personal in the end. If you make a comment about "Adria smelling like shit" on ooc and someone gets offended, does the person gets banned for that ? I would implement a system where there is a reverse ban where the person gets a one-time warning and 365 day watch period and any other infraction leads to a 2-5 years ban. Then when you get through probation, and get caught later on you stay on it, you get banned for lifetime. But I agree on working on defining a policy on it, really good work overall.
  19. You guys don't want to participate in my premium beta on my premium game ? How awful are you guys ? joke
  20. As someone who has clearly grown out of this toxic phase and has made clear improvement to his overall attitude and roleplay abilities, I would be ready to welcome him again but the right-wing and sexual stuff is really on the limit of a ToS ban. I've never really touched that stuff during my years of toxicity, it's kinda disgusting, I've never really targeted specific players during months on end. I think that has allowed me to remain on the server and having some of the people being against Charlemagne, friendly to me. The people supporting him should remind themselves that you kinda support a sexual harasser and the people not supporting him that they sometimes love someone who used to be toxic like me. It's a doubled edged sword. There's a limit that you can't cross and I think that Charlemagne has crossed it. Most older people will tell you that they figured out themselves out well later in their 20's, I used to laugh at this and it was the case for me, I don't think Charlemagne is truly at the age yet and he should be allowed more time out of the server to regain his IGN. I was certainly better at 25 than I was at 20 but I am certainly better than I was at 25, at 27 going on 28, if that makes sense. I know that you've alted, there's no way that you would appeal 4 years later out of nowhere, he probably could have been unbanned 2 years earlier, especially during Covid, maybe unless you went traveling with Kyle or something along the lines.
  21. This letter would be posted to every member of Da Rhun, Da Kirka Dverga, every clan leader of Urguan and its Grand King. It would also be sent to every human monarch, superior elf minds and orc war leaders as spam courier. -=-=-=-=- The Hammerfist Clan -=-=-=-=- ᛏᛟ ᚺᛟᚾᛟᚱ ᛏᚺᛖ ᛈᚨᛋᛏ ANNOUNCING FULL CONVERSION TO DA RHUN 6th of The Grand Harvest 121 of the Second Age The Hammerfist Clan has always sought for the better of the dwarves, we have always fought with The Grand Kingdom of Urguan in our mind and we have led it to successful times. Without us fighting and fighting for The Grand Kingdom's revival during The War of The Beards and after, this iteration of Urguan wouldn’t be possible, always remember who we are. The decision to embrace a new faith is never an easy one, but it takes great courage and strength to listen to one's heart and follow a path that feels true and authentic instead of one that has run its course. With all the confidence of my clan members, I would like to officially announce that every member and future apprentice of The Hammerfist Clan are converting to Da Rhun. From this day and forever, The Hammerfist Clan will follow Da Rhun and Da Rhun will follow The Hammerfist clan. Ever since The Kingdom of Kaz’Ulrah was created, the Grand Kingdom of Urguan has never experienced true peace and brotherhood like it did in times earlier, the ways of Da Rhun are the path to experience those once again. With all the knowledge that we hold, we are refusing the ways of Da Kirka Dverga who’s led by a leader who doesn’t interpret its concepts like they should be, a dwarf who doesn’t stand for the true values of The Grand Kingdom of Urguan. The new prophets of Da Kirka Dverga know nothing about the ways of Ograhad and speak falsely about one of the greatest deities in the dwarven culture. As we are the first to do so, we expect more clans to announce their conversion to the right way, the way of Da Rhun. Thank you very much, May the blessings of our ancestors be with you always. 22. Stories of Charles "The Bald" II The Bald v. Urguan & The Goldhand Clan Re-written and published by The Hammerfist Clan, original papers by Charles "The Bald" Charles the Bald had always been a daring dwarf, unafraid of taking risks and standing up for what he believed in. His latest stunt had landed him in hot water with the authorities of his homeland, the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. One evening, Charles had been involved in a heated argument with another dwarf, Hekkaes Goldhand, and things had quickly escalated. Charles just couldn’t forget what Hekkaes had done to the Grand Kingdom of Urguan 100 years earlier. Before he knew it, Charles had drawn his weapon and attempted to strike Hekkaes. However, he had been stopped in the nick of time by the quick intervention of some bystanders. The proper authorities were soon notified of the incident, and Charles was summoned to appear before the dwarven judge. Despite his deeds, Charles had a lot of connections and was able to hire the best lawyers in the Kingdom, DwedCorp , the most powerful law firm in the dwarven kingdom at the time. Charles was charged with attempted murder, and the dwarven court was set to decide his fate. However, before the trial, Charles fell extremely sick and was bedridden for days. His lawyers didn't know any of this, Charles developed his illness in silence. When the trial finally began, Charles was weak and barely able to stand. His lawyers were carrying in order to proceed the trial after being surprised by the state of their client. The prosecution presented a strong case against Charles, the evidence was clear. His lawyers were able to argue that attempted murder was not a crime under dwarven law. They presented ancient texts and precedents that supported their argument, but most importantly Zahrer Irongrinder defeated the dwarven judge in a war of words. The trial went on for days, and Charles remained sick and weak throughout. Despite the prosecution's strong case, the court ultimately ruled in Charles's favor, and he was set free. The Goldhand Clan stood up and screeched from the place they were sitting, they were outraged, and many felt that justice had not been served, they were not the only ones. However, Charles's lawyers were praised for their legal prowess, and DwedCorp became even more powerful and influential in the dwarven kingdom. Charles, meanwhile, disappeared from the public eye and was never heard from again for a while. It is possible that after Charles the Bald's trial for attempted murder, he was shunned by the dwarven society for his actions and his perceived lack of justice. The fact that he was able to escape punishment due to a legal loophole may have also contributed to the negative perception of him among his fellow dwarves. Additionally, his illness during the trial may have caused some to view him as weak or unreliable. These factors may have led Charles the Bald to withdraw from dwarven society and become less visible to others. Image representing the DwedCorp Lawyers The Charles The Bald Reforms The trial of Charles the Bald had a significant impact on the legal system of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. Prior to his trial, attempted murder was not considered a crime under dwarven law. However, the incident brought to light the need for the Grand Kingdom to establish clear laws and penalties for attempted murder. The trial had been long and arduous, lasting for several days, and Charles the Bald had been represented by some of the most renowned lawyers from DwedCorp, a prominent law firm in the dwarven community. Despite the evidence against him, Charles had managed to evade punishment due to a loophole in the law. The judges, however, were not satisfied with the outcome and felt that justice had not been served. As a result, the king began to consider the implementation of new laws that would define attempted murder as a serious crime with severe consequences. The King’s council, the governing body of the Grand Kingdom, held multiple meetings to discuss the issue and eventually passed a new law that made attempted murder a punishable offense with a range of penalties, including imprisonment and exile. The incident also led to an overhaul of the dwarven legal systems to ensure that justice would be delivered fairly and efficiently. The King’s Council also established a legal education program to train new lawyers, ensuring that they were well-versed in the new laws and capable of upholding justice in the Grand Kingdom unlike the lawyers from DwedCorp. In the end, the trial of Charles the Bald may have been a difficult and challenging experience for all involved, but it ultimately led to positive change in the dwarven legal system, ensuring that justice would be upheld and that the safety and security of all dwarves would be protected. Charles "The Bald" was the only person who could sought changes through his actions. It is possible that Charles the Bald believed in the importance of upholding the rule of law and wanted to set a precedent for future cases involving attempted murder or similar crimes, hence he assaulted Hekkaes with a plan in mind. By undergoing a trial, he may also have been trying to demonstrate that even the most powerful or influential individuals in society are not above the law and must be held accountable for their actions. Additionally, he may have wanted to clear his name and demonstrate his innocence to those who may have accused him of the crime. By doing so, he may have hoped to regain the trust and respect of his fellow dwarves and be able to reintegrate into dwarven society.
