I am sorry That I am applying, I see you are already Swamped with so many Perfectly good Applications but I would just like to apply because I have noticed a lack of Denied/accepted Posts on apps lately. Minecraft name: char615 Forum name: Halfhand (Subject to Change To and From char615) What do you think are the top five things, that are most important in an application and why? Effort Effort Is something I value greatly in an application, being an avid reader of the Thread I have noticed a Distinct lack of creativity and effort as people just cannot be bothered to apply correctly and cannot take this Server seriously, My aim is to change that all and Make players WANT to make a Thoroughly thought Over application, This server deserves the very best of course! ~ Character Appearance I often see Very Uncreative, Bland Character descriptions with little to no effort put into it, I Believe that they are missing out on a massive opportunity to flesh out their character and make them Unique in their own way, I get tired of seeing the typical Sword wielding, Mining, Woodcutting, Building, Non farming, One eyed Character. ~ Favourite/Least Favourite Law This is my favorite of the top Five, It gives the applicant a Chance To Read the Rules Over, To get to know what to and not to do and Most Importantly Learn how to not get banned. It also Gives them A chance to express themselves and give opinions on what they think of the rules, Say they did not like the metagaming Rule, It could be thought over and Maybe put into a Poll if someone put the time and effort into it. ~ Character Biography I have seen Way too many One-Liner Biography's and it saddens me greatly, as I Mentioned above 'It ruins their chance of fleshing out their character to make him/her Unique' I believe strongly that the Biography should be The Critical point in an application, It is that that should be most thought over and should have the Most work put into to make them feel successful and confident in their writing of the Application. ~ Description of Self This is Vital in an application in my eyes, It gives the Applicant a Great chance to integrate themselves into the community from the very start, it helps the new Ones to make friends as soon as they get accepted which is an opportunity I missed out upon, I do not wish for everyone to do the same, it is very hard to fit In with the community if you do not express yourself in your application. There has been lots of 'Hi My Name is _______ I like Minecraft and am 16' Descriptions which really bores people, I expect people to really explain who they are and what kind of person they are So it is easy for people to get an interest in the Application from the Very beginning...
