Not so much the words there are the average I put into posting a reply. As for your question, how does it add to role-play than just ignoring a rule already established? Granted your reply to the way things were in Aegis is acceptable to me. But honestly I think the bad-lands lore could be better if a little more thought was put into it. As for you quoting me from a few weeks ago, I have a subtle snarky streak that I coast on for my own amusement.

There's a no-rp killing incident on this server once a week, if not more. Now suddenly you want to make it okay for them to have their own island? Because you've come to the conclusion that the player-base is bored. The question what effort are you putting forth to preserve Elysian RP? Or is this 'test idea' of yours an effort to keep one side of the spectrum happy? While at the same time hoping-and-wishing, this 'idea' will be enough to sate the interest of everyone? Temporary map or not, you the administrators are in charge of the server, through its transitions, temp-maps, permanent servers, forums, etc. Now I know no one is going to agree with everything that the staff will say, or do. And you cannot make everyone happy while trying new things without keeping an open mind. Eventually the players will individually make their choice of what they want this server to be. The players of this server will either opt to better become writers, or they will just stay gamers. From your poll you can now see the line in the sand of what these people want to be. I hope you make the right choice.

No.. just, no... -must-resist-urge-to-meme-this-to-death.- Why don't you tap the Lore Team, drop a quick concept, develop it, make an antagonist to promote RP, get some people together. Get some baddies who for whatever reason decide to invade. Hell, why don't you have Zombified Vikings played by staff members/etc swarm Elysia and give the four nations a run for their money to hold ground. At least PVE is a step up from PvP, no V.A.'s.
