  1. Farren proceeds to get absolutely hammered in the tavern of Kal'Ithrin after being easily knocked down. And having to be carried from the field.

"Bah... hic! Ah ahm' u greatest warrios since... Diugsihgdum! Hur! Hur! Hur!  But ah 'ear tu battle is nae over... BURP! It nae matters... HELGA! Get meh anofer drink, ah need tu forget t'is embarrasment... Bloomin age. If nae fer t['at ah would ave .... ZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"

((Guys Hakuna Matata. Although I hear the battles not over. Either way have fun.))

  2. Farren lets out a long sigh as he glances towards the gathered crowd. His face contorting into a frown as he approaches the crowd, waiting for his turn. With one hand gripping firmly on his coin purse, the other tapping impatiently upon his armour .Muttering his question silently over and over to himself as he waits.

"W'ut will become ov meh people? More importantleh ov me clan in tu future?"

    Translation

What will becomes of my people? More importantly of my clan in the future?

  3. Drop the Braveheart/Scottish/Wanabee irish thingy. Be more like the Starks of GoT and Aduniie of LoTR. Make the language more unique, please drop the google translate... Celtic influences are fine, but don't let that take it all over. I mean the google translate makes the Adunians a joke to those who can understand irish. As well as making them seem less unique.

But those are small qualms, to be honest as much in rp as I would want the Adunians to stay with the Dwarves. The best courses of action would be for the Adunians to either

    • a) Live in Oren as many have suggested. I think some have already started doing this.
    • b) Live as nomads, a wandering tribe who wander around the lands. Mainly the elven forest. Sort of a human hunter gatherers descending from a collapsed civilization. A human version of the Dalish from Dragon age.

But not to be rude, I would re-evaluate the Adunia lore and what you've guys done right and wrong. Less Braveheart, and more fantasy aspects. The issue is the image people have of the Adunians at the moment, work on fixing it then think about making a Kingdom maybe.

  4. (( A note about Bungo's screenshot. It was a show of strength not a raid, considering we didn't kill anyone and the most we did was defecate in their fountain. #Don't drink the water :P))

Farren shakes his head as he hears news of this.

"Nofin' good will come ov t'is, we should focus un rebuildin'. Nae destroying."

  5. [[i would suggest instead of books, we have signs scattered around the city or library. Telling a story, maybe that of the creation of the Dwarves according to our religion? Eventually leading to the remembrancer area. I think it would be pretty cool.

*You notice some words finely engraved into the wall*

Before anything, there was nothing. The only thing that could be described by today’s standards was The Void. The world was a vast emptiness that we can only barely describe. Yet within nothing, there was still Him, slumbering away the ages.

Obviously this may not be feasibly, but I still think it would be cool. And a nice alternative to copying everything out into books which people can steal.

Edit: Or  maybe some riddles? Although this is going offtopic...]]

  6. [[As Bazian said if you're going to rebel make yourselves stand out more in roleplay. As well prove yourselves, I mean not many people would support a rebel who's yet to capture a single castle. So go out there an be rowdy! The thing is there's been too many words, in OOC and RP. People and their characters want to see things rather than be told they're going to happen. "Actions speak louder than words" as they say.

Aislinn summed it up, if you want to rebel go for it. It's rp, you've got the freedom to do it how you will. Don't let OOC dictate if you do this or not.]]

  7. I would have to disagree with you Spuller. Big trees would be nice, as Dun said "giving a sense of mystery." We should have a policy that whatever we're going to build will be developed in some way. Although I say this, one thing I've learned in all of the maps that as a new player it's really hard to find the Dwarves. Unless you already know where to find them. This time we need a really well defined path. But not boringly long, how about having some sort of underground railroad as we develop in the map?

  8.

Lachlan left like two weeks ago. Kayrin is king now.

    wow no tunnelsmasher, much r00d

Fixed. Just a notice, I'll be removing the clans that are deemed "Dead" with Bazians activity check from the list.  If I've made any mistakes feel free to reply or send me a PM!

To do list at the moment:

    • Sort out the Clan Links as well as the Clan Sections. (Namely putting Irehearts on that list as well as adding the clans that are forgotten/Removing inactive clans)
  9. Hey shift, is there going to be any player build team members?  Or strictly staff?

Bumping this question because it's quite important.

Moving away from our city slightly. What do we want our environment to look like this time? Natural minecraft generated with trees? Or custom build trees with some nifty looking areas for players to explore? Such are Bear Caves and some Dungeons we can do future events with.

Also snow? Covering our entire area like in Anthos or only certain parts? I think we can have some fun with the Biomes, setting one so they spawn Ocelots. Meaning we legitimately have "Tunnel Mews" in 4.0 . Just some small things, but I think we've come to realise it's that small things that normally come together to make something big.

  12. This would be a nice project if our populations could feasibly fit in the city and keep RP flowing. Sadly it is not, so we must keep to a small, compact city design in my opinion. Although... it would be nice to have another "deeproads" design like we had in Kal'Azgoth. Something for the dwarves to explore and possibly, keep our mines?

I would say if so do it more Dragon Age style. With more actual collapsed tunnels carved out, with caverns intertwining with them. So the tunnels look like they were built by someone. Although this time we would have to finish the lore for it before hand to create some storyline for the city. The only issue is that it could be Deep Roads 2.0, which were never actually put into use. And it could potentially halt the expansion of our city. So we do some small deep roads that could be potentially expanded depending on how we develop. Or not at all. We have to take into consideration that they'll either be used or not used. And if not used how to we deal with it.

  13.  ((You should know more than anyone Dreek that we're not doing this out of animosity. This isn't to ruin anyone's role play or because we don't like anyone who belongs to the High Elven nation. This is simply a result of the fact that we're trying to repossess the art of golemancy - a. Because we'd prefer if golemancy was kept as something unique to dwarven role play, to provide something different about our culture and b. The dwarven religion demands that golem anvils and all sacred artifacts are kept within the hands of the dwarven nation. The fact that you've chosen to criticise us in a public thread is frankly a little rude.))
